Here is a tip: Always give a delegation on the first turn following meeting an AI Civ. This allows the delegation to proceed, before it goes to "Unfriendly", in which they refuse to accept a delegation. (This applies to any difficulty, but is a common move for deity games)
As a Hungarian, i love the way you say Matthias 😂😂 (In hungarian its called Mátyás, with the t and the y forming a new letter that the english alphabet doesn't have)
I've heard a lot of shit-talking in the past towards Civ 6 compared to previous ones, but I love it. The fact that tiles actually have worth now and you can actually expand your city visually was a big reason why, the other one being that Sean Bean is GOATED so him as the narrator is absolutely epic.
Reminds me of my last run, I was going for a total military victory and was lined up outside the last remaining city of the Nubians, the only remaining other faction, and I noticed they were suffering massive faith-based attrition despite me having no missionaries at all because every city in the world belong to my faction so I was the defacto most popular religion, so I decided "why not?" and just stood outside the Nubian capital, taking out any new soldiers spawned for several turns as a singular missionary ran to the city can insta-converted it and I won a Religious Victory.
@@Vortide Before that one, my only religious victory was won before the modern age by spamming missionaries as Gilgamesh because his early game made me the first religion and nobody kept up but some conversions took like twenty turns by the end and I was nearly convinced a religious victory is the hardest until I just kinda wondered into one lol
I hope you read this vortide cuz on the 26 of April a game named Manor Lords should release and it looks epic so pls make a video on the game cuz it matches your style of videos btw love your video keep up the good work❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
I suggest that you turn on tile yields, it allows you to see how much food, production, culture, and science a tile produces and it will make your city placement way better.
Last year I started watching you when you had under 200 and was playing Albion online and now you have 60k and so close to 100k play button w upload like every upload
hey love your vids and I remember watching your albion content and I’d love it if you started doing this concept but in albion and made your own 100 days of being a guild master in albion online. Like making a hideout and conquering territories in the blackzone
lmao i just gift 1 gold to every leaders each turn after discovering them, this way you wont have enemies. gifting 1 gold each turn is the fastest way to be friends and allied to any leader but after this it really depends on your allies if they make enemies like declare war to other leaders. if they do this only then everyone will not be friendly with you but if you gift 1 gold for each turn everyone will always be friendly with you just dont skip a turn by not gifting them 1 gold. i do this offline single player all day long its so easy. gifting everyone 1 gold per turn on single player is actually a game breaker. not only you get to be friends and allied with any leaders you also dont need to worry about getting invaded or denounced anymore for the rest of the match on singe player on any difficulty level but be sure to establish your embassy as soon as you can for peace of mind.
You know, the year is up in the right corner, adding your own values is kinda weird. There's about 6000 years in a civ game, don't know why you have to make it seem like 10k
civ is broken. there are technologies in technology tree that are already known by ancient people. like the wheel. and technology tree in general develops partly too slow compared to time development in the game. I still like the game though.
The game starts in 4000 bce also the turns progress less years the later in the game so 10,000 years is 6,000CE also it was a great video thanks for replying.
@@Vortide That's not how it works. Each age progresses through time at a slower pace than the age before. It literally tells you what year it is in the upper right corner. So yeah, click bait. You can actually progress past the point of victory, and just play on. Given both of these facts it is just click bait. Arguing about it is silly, but it is the only reason I clicked on your vid.
