Not me emerging from a 12 hours session on Pyanodon's mod suite yelling Behold! to a confused family unable to comprehend the intricacies of my latest build 😭
I played the demo for this game and it took me so long just to automate blue research and then it added even more reaserch and I was like oh hell no but I’ve been considering going back
Never doubt a gal with a gun, an objective, and a gutful of determination. Outside a' the Laws of Physics, ain't a force been built could survive *that* particular onslaught.
I hope you'll bring your wife onto more adventures in gaming. She seems like a gem of a human, and a true gamer. Maybe a Stardew multiplayer playthrough!
Would love to see a 200 day playthrough. As someone with the "there is no spoon" achievment and tons of modded experience, it feels refreshing to see someone without all that knowledge splashing around having fun
Despite having beat the game several times, building a 1k spm megabase, and doing some modded runs, I still have my first spaghetti base I ever made. Keeps me humble remembered I made that at one point. Lmao.
Look forward to the next iteration of this - love the fact you and your wife share the same sense of humour... Your kid is going to be a nightmare in a few years time. 🤣🤣
Great video! I love Factorio and 1 tip I could give you is build radars. Radars do 2 things one is they automatically explore the black edges of your map out to a maximum range and also permanently render a 7x7 chunk around them on your map. Which allows you to open your map and scroll into it and be able to see exactly what is going on even when you aren't there. They are very helpful as the factory grows and you are out building and exploring to check on the factory and see if any problems are occurring. Also good for the outposts to see bug attacks. I hope this helps a little bit and I cant wait for part 2!
@@FloydsonYT I would also recommend getting oil for your base, rockets and flamethrowers would be much more effective for military at the time, but you need it for chem science, so it's gonna happen anyways. And when you get chem, rush bots, because you just can't stress enough about how important they are.
@@lucasellis183they definitely need oil for science, but their biter settings are so low that flamethrowers really don't matter. They could easily hit space science with just turrets.
This video is like the opposite of watching Dosh Doshington conquer factorio mod packs with compact factories the size of a small continent. Loving both styles and I'm looking forward to your next 100 days adventure!
I'm immensely impressed by both of you. My brain hurt just trying to keep up with both of you. The complexity is way above me. I'm so glad that the two of you can play together so merrily and peacefully.
Dude I found your channel a few weeks ago with your forager video and I legit have been binge watching your contact ever since. Keep up the amazing content man.
This is a game ive been wanting to play for quite some time but has always looked too complicated to pick up. Thanks for making such an entertaining video and also giving enough information to help me start my own playthrough! Much love bro
It's so nice to see you playing such an incredible game! The team is hard at work on the 2.0 update, as well as a massive DLC. You've come a long way from the daily uploads of Mini Motorways challenges (even if I kinda miss those - 91st subscriber btw). It's incredible to see how fast your channel exploded after that first 100 Days video, and how quickly you switched gears to this new format!
I have a LOT of hours in this game, and its cool to see the perspective of a newer player. Also its really funny that you got the hardest map seed haha.
Fantastic video, as a more seasoned Factorio player its really interesting to see how stressful the game actually is for most people! And what a difficult start too, deserts are no joke. You both are managing so well under those conditions!
Never played but this seems like a perfect game! Can't wait to binge yet another Floydson banger! Keep em coming brother! Adding: Love the duo content! Can't wait for more cooperative games! My wife and I play games like this together and it's awesome to see you guys enjoying the same!! No clowning in the comments allowed!
Found this channel about a week ago and have been binging it since. The amount of effort and editing you put into these videos is insane. Keep it up man your channel and style are an absolute treasure for the gamer community 👍
Something about Factorio really appealed to me. I figured I’d give it a try and when I did, was quickly overwhelmed and stopped. After some time, it drew me back in and it’s basically taken over my soul at this point.
The only thing better than watching one goose on the loose is watching two geese on the loose. And also you two made a third so in a few years I expect the loose gooseling's involvement.
Watching this made me go into my game and start tearing everything down to reorganize it to be more efficient and neater. I'd love to see what you do further
I love how factorio boils down to two types of players. Those who are getting distracted while trying to get things done and those who defend those who are getting distracted while trying to get things done. Also, the labs don't really have a fixed consumption speed. It depends on the research you've selected.
Ive watched a lot of “I played 100 days” videos but it is only yours I would rewatch all the time. I think you’re the absolute best. Keep up the good work
you both are so entertaining it was a joy to watch this i hope to see more content of you both together! and factorio of course love to be terrified by these machinery
Was rewatching all your old videos cause I was really craving your wonderful balance of fun gameplay and humorous commentary! So happy to see a new upload! Thank you for all the work you put in to bring entertainment and happiness to strangers on the internet!
this game always amazes me with its complexity, hats down to your wife for managing to get into it and keeping up with you (despite the breaks) as a casual gamer
As the female part of a gaming couple, I totally get your wife's apprehension but for me personally it was really cool to see her join you Floydson! Been watching you for a while now and a new video drop is always an occasion tbh, you make some good stuff! ^^ Hope to see your other half join in more in the future!
I started watching your channel after 100 days graveyard keeper, and i never thought you will play factorio which is a game i am obsessed playing it. i just wanna say your channel helped me a lot in going through my life, thank you.
This series is so much fun, and helpful too, I play casually and it’s helped with both the maths and planning of a beginning base. Also you two are fantastic duo, you should def try don’t starve together!
Quite fun watching you both play together, for a while it looked like Sah was doing all the real work while you focused on your research hobbies. I try to say that if you had to be good at something to enjoy it, karaoke wouldn't exist, but I guess it's still hard to put yourself out there on the internet. Thanks for the video.
Its always terrifying to first step out into the light, I can only imagine how overwhelming it is doing it with this large of an audience. Would love to see more combo couple day 1 to 100 plays! Those moments of "I'm a dingo!" had me rolling cause Ive done that same thing with factorio. I have hundreds of hours and I still do this. Got to get her one of those mics you got. Hers isnt too bad but its like two steps up from xbox live deep fried mic. Speaking of which what mic do you have? Mine is now one step above xbox live deep fried.
I love seeing all the things you've forgotten about the game, things look so fun like that- Especially when you did stuff like using inserters instead of splitters (splitters can sort too)
I'm so happy your wife joined! She did amazing!!! I have wanted to play this game for forever but never have, but seeing the both of you working together inspires me! She's a great gamer
My friend used to play this game so much, im not a strategy type player (if thats the right genre). But anything you upload is brilliant, thanks for my bedtime video again!
So for every newbie to Factorio, there's two things that can really ease you into the game. - Play in a forested starting area (rerolled map seeds), trees absorb heaps of pollution so there's fewer biters. Deserts are an unintended hard mode in the beginning, as there's basically nothing but biter bases to absorb your pollution. - look up a basic bus design, spaghetti feels easier for the first 1 or 2 hours but then you quickly run into issues with expansion and it complicates your first playthrough.
I love the role reversal on the stereotypical husband/wife trope of you being essentially a housemaid while Alyssa being the military might of the whole operation! Keep up the good work mate and I'd love to see more Factorio with Alyssa being the long arm of the law.
I've never played the game but seeing both of you play, makes me want to start playing. I'm excited for your next video man!! keep up the good work and shout out to your wife for being an amazing gamer as well 😁
As someone who felt like they couldn't get into factorio due to creating spaghetti tracks, this vid made me want to play it again, so thanks to both of ya for reinvigerating my addiction.
Embrace the spaghetti, it'll work well enough, worst case scenario you can just use the output of your janky mess to make a slightly better mess with what you learned from it.
I’m literally never going to play this game, nor do I have any interest in it, but your 100 days playthroughs are just so entertaining 😭 another killer video bestie
Sah was a delight to see again!!! I loved the Stardew Together series and missed your paired antics. Would love to see a 200 days, I feel like we're just getting started here!
You have quickly become my favorite youtuber. I save your videos for when I can take some time to just watch them. Your wife joining was just more of the fun I already enjoyed. Keep up the good work both of you! And thanks!
