@@soundingtheskies 500 normal humans is already a bigger threat than 500 zombies. Zombies are slow and brain dead. It's already easy to fool an idiot, but those guys don't even know how to think anymore. 500 super-idiots bum-rushing you unarmed is nothing compared to 500 probably strategically moving humans likely wielding at least some form of weapon. Of course you'd think the 500 embodiments of *cruelty* is far scarier.
@@Wisdorin If you read the command he tried to do, you can see that he was trying to clear a bunch of trees but it was too much for the server to handle
I guess im asking randomly but does anyone know a method to get back into an Instagram account? I was dumb forgot my account password. I would appreciate any help you can give me
@@randomchannel7851 Destroying each spawner increases it by 0.2% of the way towards 100%. That's basically the same as 2,478 units of pollution or allowing 9 minutes and 20 seconds to pass. Note that the raw percentages don't add up because each increase is a percentage of the remaining progress to 100% evolution so 25%*4 isn't 100%, it's 68%( 1-(1-25%)^4 = 0.683,593,75, I did the maths when calculating what compares to what above so you've got comparable numbers.
that's what I was thinking when watching this. It would be different if they were on rail world or otherwise had enemy expansion disabled, but those bugs are just pop right back up where they were...
@@-Big_Big but these people were doing it of their own volition. following whoever they chose and doing whatever task they felt like doing. they werent slaves. they fought and worked together as comrades.. this was communism. so beautiful FIGHT ON SMOL FACTORY BOIS. ;-;
I love how two guys went out of their way to ignore literally everything that was going on in the game and instead create two fictional rival oil companies, complete with marks indicating attrition wars and claimed territory. Something about that is so funny to me 😂
Battlezone Combat Commander or Nuclear Dawn or Natural Selection 2. Actually, Natural Selection 2 is almost exactly what you described but with far less players.
I used to play a lot of Savage the Battle Of Newerth, and was just a RTS for two commanders, and a action game for each of the 100+ players. Good times. Um salve pros players do server do Terra
@@MegasXaos No, it's not a quote Stalin, stop saying that. It's quote from someone in america in 1980 and for some reasons everyone loves to say that stalin said that. "belive everything you see in internet" - Vladimir Lenin, probably. =/
@@SapFeaRon source? It appeared in US military references around that time yes, but the source is disputed. So unless you've got source to counter Stalin (the most commonly attributed despot) as the source, its perfectly reasonable to attribute it to him.
@schoolterrorist And still there are Arma communities regulary sending more or less than 80 people into battle. The key is building teams and setting goals, not to manage everything by one guy or let people just do what they think is working. Thats how Businesses and every modern military is working.

@@kolow123 Why isn't an Imperial Guard game like that/this already a thing? Would love to see it. Everyone is always trying to make games fancier, but where are the games just keeping it simple and going bigger?
@@demonifist1384 there was a movie called enemy at the gates where the commissar was ordering the peasants to attack the germans and they didnt have enough rifles or ammo so one guy would carry the rifle till he got gunned down (which was near instant mind you) and the guy behind him had to pick the rifle up. if you retreated you were shot in the back by the germans, if you continued to retreat you were gunned down by your own men, because it was treason as far as stalin and the russians were concerned........
You know, if Spiff can do *this* kind of stuff with his Redcoats, I almost want to see him create his own redcoat faction in EVE and see what he can do
I would love this. There's some faction that could use some knocking down. Sadly, it would takes YEARS to catch up at this point, unless you wanted to spend copious amounts of money for injectors. Even then, it would take time to amass the ships required to take down specific factions. Even then, EVE is skill based, not just shotgun people at it in hopes of it working
Yeah, on my old world which I stopped playing because it wasn't a rail world I got up to several thousand iron plates per second and that isn't nearly enough iron to run my base
To think: if every player were carrying just a little stone brick when they travelled as a group, they could lay it down and travel where they were going 30% faster!
Watching Spiff suboptimally pick items one by one off corpses, instead of mining the whole corpse directly, or ctrl-clicking the whole inventory, is a trip.

@@Mgis90 He explained in the discord that he removed biter spawners, some were on islands, causing biters to spawn and pathfind a way towards some spawners on the mainland, and RAM overloaded due to pathing taking too much ressources.
Machiko Noguchi would have turned the bugs against themselves and then nuked the whole planet from orbit. Seriously, the AVP books, even the comics, are better than those crap movies we got.
@@kurtmueller2089 Talking about the most badass lone wolf I know of from the Aliens Versus Predator books, which are totally different from those shite movies, she pretty much soloed a full blown Xeno and Predator assault on a small town alien ranch world, did such an impressive job she earned a place with the Predators and even joined them in capturing a Xeno queen from a bug world, then dealt with more Xeno and Predator crap when they decided to hunt humans, then fought an entire cyborg Xeno army that had guns on this rich dudes clone facility hunting world and got the Predators to become allies. Rambo and Lara Croft can both suck it.
14:00 little did he know that meanwhile most Norwegians were down south dismantling everything. Generally the edit makes it look a LOT more organised than it really was.

The Imperial Guard actually get decent equipment and have high standards of training; these poor bastards are the PDF sent to die until the Guard can actually arrive.

I feel like having 500 players in ANY game is going to be broken as hell. Although gotta say respect for the devs more than 100 players and barely any lag? Impressive!
So trying to re-watch this video while playing Dyson Sphere Program was a mistake. The terrifying beeping when you sabotaged the Norwegians compounded with the fact that DSP is supposed to be peaceful nearly made me have a heart attack.
2:15 This is so much like someone stirring up an ant colony with dudes walking all over the place. :D Also you must be a Zen master because the *constant* alarm beep fill me with both anxiety and rage.
To be fair, that's how my games often go: I kill all the bugs in a large section of the map and wall it off. In multiplayer, newbies make a ton of disgusting spaghetti and rather than try to figure it out, I just grab a tank (or preferably an aircraft from mods) and go hunting.
Idea for a factorio (possibly mp friendly) challenge: get some weapon and op biter mods and make a heavily armed stronghold before cranking biters to maximum level and enraging them, goal is to survive the endless biter swarm without expanding your base or destroying biter nests for at least an hour or until you launch your first rocket (orbital cannon mod recomended for extra post challenge fun)
