Great video! It was really nice seeing someone experience Stardew Valley for the first time. Brought back all the early game intro feels 😊and your commentary is stellar. I think I saw others mention these games, but Graveyard Keeper and/or Don't Starve would be excellent next picks for this style of video.
@@TLSG100it’s generally accepted in the stardew community to do a whole year opposed to just 100 days but still call it 100 days. This is so your timing doesn’t get out of whack just for the sacrifice of 12 days left in the SDV year. Would love to see your growth on this if you decided on doing another year!
I don't play this game so I'm not malding at your mistakes but still you make this entertaining and interesting for a newbie in like me. Looking forward for more.
I would love to see another 100 days! It's always so interesting to see a new player explore their way in this amazing game of Stardew Valley and always gives me that boost of playing again. :D
The only thing dissapointing in discovering your channel is understanding that this sort of quality content requires a lot of time to produce! Wow! What a discovery! This is far more enjoyable and give’s a much better idea of a game over watching 10 minute reviews. I can’t wait to see what you play next. Judging by your two choices thus far, may I recommend Graveyard keeper or Core keeper?
It drives me a little nuts watching you sell all the spring crops without even having talked to the wizard yet lmao. But I've been there with the mistakes caused by season changes. I didn't not harvest my crops, but once I spent all of last spring tilling and fertilizing because I thought then I could get a head start the next day and immediately start planting. Then I woke up and all my work was gone
Love the gameplay, hope you and the family are better TLSG! I'd love to see you play a bit of StarCraft or maybe even Minecraft even though they may not be up your street
Keep this up would love if you played more stardew as I enjoyed playing your video ad I played myself I like relaxing and listening to someone else play as I do
I'm glad you had fun. :) That's the point of the game. The early days here are an exercise in pain. Not watering your crops every day. Not talking to villagers or watching the tv. Many villagers remind you to harvest your crops bc they'll die at the end of the season, and the tv does the same. And also, not starting the community center.... My first playthrough included a number of mistakes, but I had enough grounding in games like animal crossing that I knew it's cardinal sin not to water all your crops every day, so it's what I do every morning before doing anything else. Even after 600+ hours playing the game, I'm not what you'd call a speedrunner or a professional, or even an expert. I don't do "clay farming" like most of the "expert" players do, because I consider it cheating. But I have been able to complete the community center in year 1 a couple of times now, so I know I can do it, though most of the time now I chill out and complete it some time in Year 2. The main thing I'm doing right now in my current playthrough is maxing out my relatioship with all the villagers I can. The main thing is that I'm playing to relax. (Even though some of those "experts" think that's the wrong way to play. It's certainly sub-optimal to relax.) I will go by the saloon most nights and put one of my favorite pieces on the jukebox, talk to everyone there, then sit on a stool and relax for several hours while it plays. I'm not going for 100% completion. I might wind up doing it, but it's not in my head right now. So, like I said, I'm glad you had fun. It'd be interesting to see how you'd play it a second time knowing what you know.
This was so fun. You did much better than me on my first play through, though you made a lot of the painful mistakes that I did (spending money on tons of seeds right before the season ends).
Energy tip: if you run out and don't have any food/money to help restore it. You can go to bed BUT choose "No" and then don't move. While you are "in bed" you will slowly replenish your energy.
@@TLSG100 You can move all the furniture and turn on the fireplace. Also if you move the plant that is next to the door it should prevent the dog from getting stuck next to it and not letting you leave your house. Have fun rearranging! I always spend too much time moving stuff around.
Wait, Clint SELLS ORE? I've spent so much time on this game and apparently that never made it into my brain and I always use crappy tools for way too long
I'm still a noob at the game even though I've watched a lot of videos... Still haven't found a ancient seed yet..... Sad. Starting my starfruit empire though
Oof, day 72 I realized he put a Quartz into the crystalarium thinking it was a Diamond. Of course, he should have been getting a new quartz back every few minutes so I don't know what was going on with the thing.
