Monster Sanctuary is such a good game, the battle system and combat is truly unique for this genre. Making every monster viable/playable is a huge credit to the design as well. The only thing I wish is there was some kind of procedural generated dungeons and bosses to test all the possible builds on. The campaign gets old after awhile.

Monster Sanctuary does Pokemon right. It's a formula that needed a change. I feel Pokemon has turned into get 1 or 2 really good Pokemon to just sweep the enemy team and call it a day and Type Advantage is everything. In Monster Sanctuary you need to think of the team build and constantly experiment to find something that works.

I think this could actually be a decent series for you if you can find more of these types of games or change game types if you run out of Catch 'em games. Honestly, with how well the Boss Ranking for Sly seemed to do, you should try to find other games with bosses and rank those, even if they aren't exactly popular still or whatever. Like Yakuza or Devil May Cry or something.

I can see why one would describe Nexomon Extinction as Pokémon-like, but Monster Sanctuary has almost nothing in common with Pokémon other than the fact that you use monsters in turn-based battles. It plays very differently, too differently, in my opinion, to even be adjacent to Pokémon within the Monster Taming genre as a whole.

Played monster sanctuary cuz of gamepass and loved this game, the good mix of obtaining monsters that have entirely different skill set for completely unique team set ups and platforming makes the game feel like a real monster collector game

I'm kind of hyped. I am one of those people that watches souls like videos looking for bloodborne likes. And I'm always happy when you drop content I fw cause than I just be out here fist fighting the algorithm xD
