People may not have stopped at the convention, but tens of thousands of us stopped here. Thank you for your wonderful performance! Edit: hundreds of thousands!
I would have recognized literally ANY of those songs!!! Like 3 notes in!!!! Lolol never stop what you do!!! You're amazing!! And even when he thought u didn't bring joy that day, once u posted this video, you brought SO MUCH JOY to ppl all over!!! The Gerudo Valley song was my favorite!!! It's always been a Huge Favorite of mine!!!! You did amazing!!💖💖💖💖💖
Next time he should also try Neptunia I'm sure many people will listen very carefully. For example "Neptunia The Animation Sagashite". Its a very catchy music. Neptunia is a legendary masterpiece and has also a lot of very true video games for gamers with heart. 😊
Unfortunately this generation will never know what a timeless song this is… us 90’s who played OoT are the only ones who will ever truly appreciate this music.
@@ExviusGhost. not true my daughter knows these songs and loves them maybe I just taught her right. She loves OoT and Majoras mask. Plays them on my original Nintendo.
The lack of recognition here is insane. A top tier game to this day with great music played perfectly. How does an anime expo crowd not appreciate it?? To clarify for some replies. It’s not just about stopping. It’s watching for any sign of recognition. Slowing their pace. Glancing over. Anything at all.
@@davidrawlings8380 It is a game made by a Japanese company though, and there’s usually a lot of crossover with anime fans and game fans. They go hand in hand
@@davidrawlings8380 Anime Conventions overall have changed, for the most part people go to get their pictures taken, not to see who's there. The last few conventions I went to, no one seemed to care who was even attending the con as far as panels, they just knew they had their cosplays lined up and were there to get pictures taken with strangers LoL? But to each their own. :)
@@GymAndSun I also agree. OoT instantly makes me tear up. I feel so emotional listening to it. The nostalgia is HEAVY with OoT. You hit the nail on the head with your comment. 🤙.
Never stop playing. Its the little moments you give people in this world that keeps us all going. You provide countless little moments with your playing. I wish you much success and continued appreciation in your work.
@@JordanDPianoYou deserve the very best. If I were there passing by and listened to that, I'd definitely dance to the songs and clap to your great performance. Really, you're really great!

Most people if you ask them couldn't recognize anything from starWars but the main theme. It's quite obvious that most people don't care enough to remember every side-theme even if they played the game.
Hoooo boy. Zelda's lullaby came out of nowhere and sucker punched my heart. Took me right back to the 90s.... When my mom was alive. Beautiful music. Thank you ❤
I'm over here, burning my breakfast, nearly shouting at my phone, "acknowledge the man, dammit!" I'm disappointed in the lack of reaction from the crowd.
Plenty of people enjoyed the music, why should they have to stop and reasure anybody. They are clearly out doing things not just walking around back and forth hoping a concert will happen on the street

I'm almost 70 and recognized almost all of these songs from watching my son playing video games as a child. I am shocked these folks don't recognized this stuff. Amazing to me. They live under a rock?!

This doesnt make sense to me how they kept walking, I would be sitting right there on the concrete in front of you with a big dumb smile. Thank you for sharing Jordan
Same! I just started to learn this on the piano myself and I'm an absolute beginner. The amount of work it takes emotions it carries is huge. Yet nobody here seems to care 😢
It’s crazy to think how many people there were completely oblivious to the music, simply not knowing or too young to not have experienced this game in the late 90’s
I am 16 years old and as a child I was able to enjoy this game very early on, it bothers me a lot that there are people older than me who have not heard of this great game, wow, even my dad knows about it XD
That is most likely it, yea. I've been realising that for years now... I am turning 30 this year and I remember playing it with my brother like it was yesterday...
It's a Anime convention, people have places to go and panels to see. So do not fault them for not stopping. Every con I go to its non stop moving around. :)
exactly, and also just in general when you are a street performer... people usually are only walking around in the street because they have stuff to do
The first 10 seconds of the title song of Ocarina of Time always make me feel nostalgic, a desire to go to a place I visited as a child, a warm and peaceful place. Thanks for this!
This would’ve stopped me in my tracks, no lie. This isn’t the first Zelda game I ever played but it’s my favorite. You had to be there when it came out, or you just don’t understand how huge this moment was. Putting that cartridge in and hearing this song for the first time and seeing 3D Link and an, at the time, unnamed horse ride across the screen was amazing. I watched that opening sequence in awe and it will forever stay with me.
Opening that gold box as a present was one of the best moments, a new adventure waiting in your hands. I was not even aware at the time just how impactful that game was going to become for me. But screw the shadow temple fr tho

I was thinking exactly the same thing. I would probably have sat down immediately if I had even 2 minutes to spare. Not directly in front of the camera, but somewhere behind it to listen and let everyday life pass by for a brief moment. It's important to enjoy moments like this, especially if they are perhaps one-offs. How often do you walk past a pianist on the street playing TloZ-Oot music? You have to take time for yourself these days, otherwise it will be swallowed up by everyday life.
Why are people not stopping? Zelda has one of the best soundtracks! We listen it at the office like once a month. Never stop my man! You are amazing!! ❤
because they have busy days planned and they can just enjoy a minute or so of nice music while they walk past When you are at the office listening you dont have to stop what you were doing... same thing with all the people saying this from the comments. Thats what it means to be a street musician... you are playing music for people to briefly enjoy before they go back to their chaotic lives

I just came across your Zelda wedding video not going to lie … it made me tear up😢 It took me back to 1997 during the days of Zelda and Star Fox playing with my dad. For a few minutes I was a grade school kid enjoying those times with my dad again. ❤. Zelda helped me thru some rough times as a kid and this medley was a “ Song of healing “ for my adult heart. Thank you!
Oh man im 33 i still listen to that intro about 20 times before i EVER hit start it actually gives me goosebumps this isnt just a game for me its so many memories its my childhood. Very well played sir
I ALWAYS get emotional and cry with the songs from Ocarina Of Time... I miss when I was a kid and had a Nintendo 64... Life was beautiful. Nowadays my life is hell, one bad thing happening after another. I can't even afford a console or PC to play good games. My current PC even runs Nintendo 64, Super Nintendo and PS1 emulators, but I don't have a controller haha... To all gamers around the world: Stay safe, a hug from a Brazilian gamer
the ocarina of time intro is really something else i remeber sitting in my bedroom just leaving it on the loading screen many hours listened between that and the great fairy fountain.
Sounded great. The nerds may not have shown appreciation but we will. Liked and subscribed. The dog knew you were good. He definitely would have given you a Scooby Snack if his human walked slower.
You know this is a cool guy not only because he plays a Zelda Piano Medley... but because he smiles when he sees a dog 00:48. Keep up the good work bro.
Oof. Their loss. OoT will forever be attached to my soul. I feel bad for the 15+ years of Fortnite/GTA online kids. Those moments alone, with a friend or sibling, exploring and completing this game is true memorable.
This video is truly eye-opening. This beautiful and epic music is fading into oblivion, and that reality is very depressing to me. Or maybe it’s nostalgia, I don’t know.
These songs are getting played and covered more than they ever have. They are being played by orchestras and remixed in new games as well as immortalized in the classic games that are still being played by new people. Its not going anywhere anytime soon
Sir i don’t why people just being walking past. I would just straight sit down and hear Zelda songs until you’re done. I get emotional hearing my childhood favorite game songs , in particular Zelda music. You should know , i’m talking for all zelda fans in here when i say “Thank you” ❤️🙏🏽
It's my favorite Zelda game ever made. I blast this music driving in my car all the time. From a man who grew up in the 90s', it was a huge part of my childhood, and will always be a part of my life. Love from Alabama. Shout out to Jordan for the excellent Piano play.
There are still a lot of people playing the original Zelda, doing speed runs and what not. I would think with the popularity of all the zelda games out there this should be known by a lot of these kids? Maybe they were just too shy or something.
Nah if I heard Zelda’s Lullaby randomly in public I’d just start tearing up. Occarina time is literally my childhood, that music makes me feel like a kid again.
How come no one stopped to listen to the song?!?! Bro!!!! Come to play here in Brazil... I really doubt that something like this will happen! You are fantastic!!!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
The music of Zelda Ocarina of time is such a classic and it brings back so many memories of my childhood playing this game was a very unique experience
My man! Nostalgia that brings tears to my eyes. Remembering playing ocarina of time in my n64 when I was 7 years old, about 23 years ago. If I would come across you I would definitely stop my quest and sit and enjoy these tunes to a blunt or my wax pen! You rock brotha keep doing you man love the channel
Had i've been there i'd be hyped up, giggling to myself and even probably jumping, basically act like a child. Ocarina of time was the first nintendo game i ever played and i loved it!
What a beautiful rendition. . I would have sat and enjoyed all the ocarina of time songs he wanted to play. Brings back fond childhood memories of my favorite game of all time.
Dude this brought me back, my cousin got me my first Zelda game and he unfortunately passed due to a heart attack. So thank you for these memories man I truly, greatly appreciate it. Allowed me to slow my life down just for a few min and reminisce
The music is so iconic that with just the first 4 notes anyone can recognise it 😊 . It is like playing the theme song of Indiana Jones, or Superman, or James Bond, or Star Wars, etc.
Hello, I'm from Brazil, I wanted to say that you are very good at this, if I heard Zelda near me I would definitely stop and listen. Zelda's melodies would soothe my heart
Legit took me back to my younger days playing this and having my grandma watch me playing the whole time. I love and cherish those memories, the things music can do.
Twilight Princess was the first Zelda I 100% beat (was too young to fully get ocarina). That was back in middle school when the Wii came out. I realized I hadn't heard Epona's song in YEARS and the nostalgia made me tear up a bit, NGL 😅 great work and fantastic playing sir 🤙🏾
I'm a simple zelda fan, I hear Ocarina theme and I stop what I do, reminiscent about the game, and how young I was. Thanks for letting me go back in time to my childhood. Keep up the work, its beautiful 🤟
I'm Brazilian and my English is terrible, so I'll use the translator. Saria's song is simply unique, it brings genuine happiness to the environment, I'm a little sad that people don't stop to appreciate something as beautiful as this.
I'm about as quiet and introverted as someone can get, but I absolutely would have been jumping and squealing if I heard someone play those live. Thank you for sharing!
I'm not a piano player, but I can appreciate the control you have over your keystrokes. Great uniformity to not give certain notes more weight than others. I think its something that happens especially when playing solo and it helps players keep beat as their own metronome through heavier key plays. Clean and well played.
I’m honestly disappointed in how little people notified, especially there at an anime convention. I would have instantly stopped and enjoyed your whole performance, with joyful, nostalgia laced tears. Absolutely amazing. I want to thank you for your beautiful piano performances of Zelda and the Ocarina of Time and I want to thank the RU-vid algorithm for showing me this regularly.
Ahhhhhhh….thank you for this. This brought me back to the years when Ocarina of Time came out and was really excited to play it for hours and hours of it. Oh the nostalgia. My favourite Zelda game of all time
