Don’t feel bad, this game can overwhelm the best of us. Like the one guy commented “I’ve been playing for years and I still find myself learning something new”. I myself feel the same way. Just take it step by step. You got this girl!😊

At 36:37 --- you got a Preserving Bin. Place that inside your base. Then use the Mortar and Pestle to craft some Sparkpowder. Place the Sparkpowder into the Preserving Bin. Then move all the items that can spoil into the Preserving Bin. Some things spoil, like berries, meat, organic polymer, rare flowers, rare mushrooms, and many other items. You can usually tell if something will spoil by going into the inventory and looking at the bottom of the item's icon. There is a thin green line that slowly gets shorter and when it disappears, one item in that stack will "spoil" and disappear. By placing those items in the Preserving Bin that has Sparkpowder, then the item will take longer to spoil. (That's what happened to your Sweet Veggie Cakes --- they spoiled and disappeared.) Later, you can craft a Refrigerator, which requires electricity to run (and so you also need a Generator and some Gasoline) but it will reduce the spoil time for those items even more. In other words, take items that can spoil and place them into the Refrigerator and then they will last even longer than when they are in the Preserving Bin.

I think you should change your base location. It would be easy if you make cryopods and a cryo fridge. You can make them easy if you go to an obelisk and look at the menu in their. And put the ingredients it tells you and create cryopods and a fridge. You can then suck your dinos into a cryopod, put many of them in your inventory, and take them anywhere. This will be a game changer for you, believe me!

At 1:33:53 --- You used XP points to level up the Stamina on the Doedicurus. Those guys typically don't need to level up Stamina, given that you will be using them to gather rock. Instead, you want to apply the XP points to Melee and to Weight. That way they can gather more rock with each swing, and they can carry more rock.

At 1:38:25 --- When taming an animal, you can open their inventory and look at the Food level. For most of the animals, they will consume one meat (or berry) when the Food level drops 50 point. (Some animals are different, but this is generally true for most of them.) So at this point, when you opened the Terror Bird inventory, the Food level was 1904.4/1950.0. So when the Food level drops 50 points (from 1950 to 1900) then the Terror Bird will consume 1 meat. It needed to consume only 1 meat item (Raw Prime Meat) and that's why it was tamed right after you closed the inventory.

At 20:00 --- you were told by someone that there is a cave entrance near the location of the first base you built? The person is misleading you. There are no cave entrances near your first base. The cave entrance closest to your first base is in the Redwood Forest almost directly north of your first base. But that's a pretty difficult cave. There are two cave entrances to the east of your first base, but they are not all that close. It looks like you maybe did fly near to one of those cave entrances at 30:09.

right after you accidentally killed the penguin, I swear that I heard your Dodo giggle, Also, billy has a talent that may help you a little its a wild dino warning system that lets you know when dinos are near wherever billy is but you need to turn it on

Keep it going m'lady...lol...few tips....Terror Bird, can't fly but can glide, when you jump hold down space bar and it is a fast runner when it's weight can carry you. Level up stamina a little, level up the weight, then health and melee more often depending on the dino and it's uses. Bronto, level weight and melee so it can harvest more berries for you. You need a Bronto Platform saddle to build on it. Daedon - good healer but eats a lot!! especially when passive healing is on.Doedicurus, level weight and melee to harvest more stone and carry a lot of it. Hit F twice to drop your shoulder pet. The ankylosaurus would be good at getting flint from stone. make a couple of grapple hooks and an extra crossbow for them to carry, when you go in caves especially, they will come in handy - you can shoot the grapple hook and climb large cliffs and also you can grapple to animals - left click will pull you to and right click will let you down, the C key will release the grapple.

At 1:06:40 --- Where did the Sheep go? Sometimes when a wild animal is stuck someplace (like in a trap or in your base) the game will recognize that it's stuck and the animal will despawn (disappear). So to keep that from happening, you usually need to tame it or it will eventually disappear.

At 38:18 --- The Tree Sap Tap attaches to the large Redwood Trees at a height that makes it difficult to access. So, craft a Tree Platform, place that on the tree, and then you can land Stary on the platform, place the Tree Sap Taps, and also collect the sap later. You can place 4 taps on each tree.

At 33:38 --- The Treasure Cache Map is good only for the Scorched Earth map. In order to use the map on the Scorched Earth map, you need to purchase Bob's Tall Tales, which will unlock the engram for the shovel. So, those Treasure Cache Maps are of no use on The Island map.

to view yourself, press "k" for orbital camera. Also, build a tree platform to place on redwoods, then place your tree tap to gather sap.

At 1:08:23 --- Use the toilet to spoil meat. First you need to place the toilet near some water, or else bring water to the toilet (use a water intake pipe, place it in some water, use the radial menu to show the range, and place the toilet within the range of the intake pipe.) Then when the Food icon for you (in the lower right of the screen) is deep white, you can poop. So open the inventory of the toilet, place as much meat in the toilet as you want, then close the inventory. Sit on the toilet, press the - key (the minus key) on the keypad of your keyboard, and you will poop. Then get up and use the radial menu to flush the toilet. Then you can access the toilet to get out the spoiled meat.

At 1:42:15 --- The Quetzal never lands, so that makes it difficult to knock unconscious with your crossbow. One way to do it is to first tame a Tapejara. You can fly a Tapejara and you can shoot your crossbow at the same time, which is something you cannot do with the other birds. So then you can ride the Tapejaras to get close to the Quetzal and you can shoot the Quetzal with your crossbow. But if you do this, you want to know where the Quetzal will land. If it gets knocked unconscious and lands in an area that has a lot of carnivores, then those will kill it and eat it. So first, clear the area below of all carnivores, then knock it unconscious. Then while the Quetzal is being tamed, be sure to patrol the area and keep other carnivores away from the Quetzal.

You should try making healing potions, they are easy to make. You need to have a waterskin or crystal jar or canteen then go up to the water and use the container to fill it up. Then you need to have tintoberries and narcotics, put them all into the cooking pot. You should also make a preservation bin if you haven’t already it will make foods last longer

Those doedicurus, you can pick them up with bird and if you put them on wandering, they can automatically collect rocks for you.

For your next episode --- I think you should try to make some cryopods (maybe 5 or 10) and a cryo-fridge (you only need one). Then you can use them to transport your dinos. This is especially good when you tame some dino that is too large to carry with Predy.

I would have so tamed the PT for its color. It looked so cool and was asking for it being in your pen. I love your exploratory attitude. Just as excited that you have the shield now with your sword. If you interact with the training dummy by holding 'e' you can give it a character skin instead of the straw person look. When you are force feeding a tame so it regens health you can hold the 'e' button over the raw meat in its inventory. When fighting wolves with the Argy, you can pick them put and attack them while it is in your claws. You've grown so much not afraid of anything (right after you knocked out Carno). I'm surprised you didn't swim out after the shark, lol. CONGRATS on Carny! Sorry for the loss of Carny... It was already typed out and didn't want to just delete it. You are right, the strong survive. The 'Kents' have an ability where they do damage to anything attacking them as a defense mechanism. I so thought you were dead until you opened the parachute. The heart drop in us both was real. The lvl 4 Dodic had a baby icon above its head when you were taming it. Its baby may have been around there somewhere. For the levels for them (rock getters) put some points in weight and health then melee, but definitely not stamina. Loved the video and all the new tames you got. Keep up the great work.

At 35:35 --- To remove any shoulder pet (like Peggy) from your shoulder, just tap the F key twice.

Next episode, learn all about those huge 3 Obelisks that float above the island map. Then make the cryo’s and cryofridge.

So I see you have a bronto for berry and seed harvesting. Now you can do medium sized crop plots and start planting seeds with poo and water for all those crops I mentioned for the kibble. The reason you can’t use your toilet properly is because you don’t have a water source. You will need he water source for crops as well. Hugs!

You can tame a quetzal using this strategy. You have to take predy and a harpoon with you, i think you can craft some type of net, then go to quetzal and jump off net it, then parachute down. Its risky so place some sleeping bags before doing it. Makesure it doesent land in water or else it’ll drown. Hope you understand😊

You should make a trap for taming megatherium(giant sloth) because it's fast and stronk

I was nervous when you were leveling up in past episodes. Mostly about the melee, because I thought you might accidentally punch a tame and kill it. At least you meant to punch the pengu. :D

You need to switch donny's healing off or he'll eat all the food in his inventory and in feeding troughs.

So i'm finally finishing the vid, I'm behind. Any dino you take from it's spawn area, and don't tame, will eventually despawn.
