I “performed” at Super Bowl XXI at the Rose Bowl. We dressed as toy soldiers. All the music was pre recorded.

EMC, I love your videos!!! I’m buddies with TRAVIS DUBBERLY who was on the line with you for the Jets/Giants!!! But I might be the bearer of bad news…So, I was on the Jaguars D-Line in 2004 and we might have been the 1st Super Bowl Drumline in 2005 (Eagles/Patriots in Jacksonville). We kind of had the same experience. We played a bunch of gigs all week, preformed with Snoop Dogg and Kelly Clarkson. Although, we DID NOT get any Super Bowl gear 😔 we were scheduled to play in the stadium during breaks, but like you, they cut us and basically had us track around the inside of the stadium playing cadences. It was still an awesome experience to perform with those music artists and getting paid to go to the Super Bowl in my own hometown!!! PS: I marched snare at Teal Sound and in its earlier years, the Jaguars D-Line was mostly corps vets (Teal Sound, Magic, Spirit, 7th Regiment, as well as FSU Big8)!

hahahahah! I remember this Super Bowl so clearly because a bunch of us got together at my neighbor's house to watch the Seahawks beat the Broncos. We had Skittles to eat every time Lynch made a carry and jello shots for every touchdown. By halftime I felt like puking so. Damn. Hard. No wonder I didn't notice you in the drumline! 🤣🤮

Fun fact. I was there with the Seahawks Drumline (team that was actually in the SB🤣). 9 of us traveled and performed for 3 days in NYC before the game. It was...interesting... to have y'all play what ya did at the game to say the least. 🤷‍♂️
