Great vid dude I got back to osu with my friend and we been on that grind since and quit from boredom but my friend got me back to osu and when I beat the 5 star dj cyper sensantional I forgot what it was called but I got 92 acc and that was like very good for me because I couldn’t stream and I knew that I was gaining skill and it was all like you man keep the grind up and don’t give up dude

I can tell how you feel, I also used to have a goal which was beating the person who introduced me to the game back in 2020, it felt very discouraging after he quit, I even stopped playing for a few months after that. But I did get back on my feet and tried once again playing. Got better at the game and met some awesome players in the community through my journey. As long as youre having fun playing the game thats all what matters by the way great video keep it up

Damn youre lucky. I found osu in youtube and ive been playing it for 2 years now. Ive been encouraging my brother and friends to play it but they all said that it was too hard. I sucked too but i kept on playing and now i can play 7 stars on osu. I wish i had friends who played with me :(

this is crazy motivating, i started on the first of december 2023 and it is now the tenth of january 2024, in this month span i have been able to get 900 pp and pass into the top 199k in the world, maybe in a year this video will get recommended to me again and i will update this 1-10-24: 901 pp 1-11-24: (1.5 hours later): 971 pp 1-12-24: 1,026 pp

i wish you all the best in your rhythm gaming journey. to be honest, i was also like that in mania. i was in a constant cycle on stressing, quitting, and replaying. and i think i kinda like the skill level i am now. however i have temporarily quit, it stopped being fun anymore. for now i enjoy catch l, as weird as it is, because its less physically demanding, and is wayyy less quiet now that i live in a dorm. also fun timing windows and lack of a 100 window, requiring you to be absolutely perfect, otherwise youll miss. so yeah have fun and hopefully you become way better than me so i can make you my goal when i ever come back to play!!! anyway here i just want to give tips like me so you dont get discouraged 1. dont settle for being good enough. always push higher. when you realize you get 97s on a certain map, either push for a 98 or go for a higher star. never be satisfied. 2. never treat it as your job. always have fun. you will get burnt out if you do. take a break if you are getting stressed from osu. trust me, its happened to me too much 3. never think you can do well immediately. also was stressed about this one. always wait for your skill to develop by grinding, dont stress about stuff 4. dont worry if others are improving too fast. there are prodigies in this world,dont stress if you are not one of them. remember that you will still get better if you practice, and those people who dont need a lot of practice, that just means that you just practice harder to get where they are. and that makes you better in a sense. just remember to practice a lot and you will get to where the masters are. 5. good health. make yourself feel good and sleep a lot. remember that muscle memory is borne through sleep, so sleep a lot after your practice. this will really help. also eat well so that your muscle can also develop while playing osu have fun!!!

Thats very good progress, I hope you have the motivation to continue playing. The beginning to 5/6* is always the hardest, once youre playing 6* it really starts getting fun. Always make yourself Goals and appreciate your scores for more motivation. For example my next goal is getting Rose Quartz 1.3 A Rank and clearing Tachyon. I had the same struggle as you lol, 3 stars to 4 stars took me so long

I started with fnf, but after a while, I lost motivation. Out of nowhere, I got motivation to take mania seriously, and I kept grinding until I surpassed what I thought would take a year to pass. Currently, I can play 6 star charts, and I'm aiming to pass Alpha. I have been playing this game for over 6 months. I hope you reach top 1 in your country and have a memorable journey

epic progression. I thought I wouldn't get higher rank, so I took a couple month break from farming and just played other rhythm games. When I came back the game favors acc now so gained a lot of PP in one session. Overplaying burnt me out so definitely take some break time

I first played osu when my older sister introduced me to it, though didn't like it all that much. returned 2 years later after finding out it had a mania mode (i didn't know it did originally because I'm stupid ;-;) and got back into it. I'm currently at that point where i can read a lot of things easily but cant hit them properly because i lack a good keyboard so I'm in the process of saving up for a decent mechanical keyboard.

I just noticed the beginning of this video is almost the same story on how I got into osu, the differece being I had no friend (and also instead of mania it was standard). I found a rip-off osu game on roblox and the song that got me hooked was Caramel Haven. I just wanted to comment this because of our similarity. (I also stopped playing for a few months because I got bored of it, so that's cool ig)

I hope one day i get good too, i dropped out of FNF like some days ago, started o!m and incredibly i can do 3 star songs quite easily, but yeah the gap between 3 and 4 stars is huge, but i noticed that every odd star (3, 5, 7) there is a big difference, my friend is currently stuck in 7 star songs, while i can barely do 4.5 stars (really depends on the song, i've seen some charts that are 4 stars but are way easier than some other charts) Well, i will probably get a job soon, so probably my sessions will be only 2-3 hours long, but i hope this will be enough to get better with time and patience

For me the trigger was robeats which is also a roblox game even though I already loved rhythm games in the past. I played casually for like 2-3 years then played a tiny bit over 3 years because I just didn't have a proper setup and playing those 4* on my bed was def not easy but eventually last year I finally got a desktop and started grinding again because I found it fun and rn I can pass 5-5.2* so I will keep pushing even if it's starting to become pretty hard to progress I still enjoy booting the game and play for like 30mins to get my daily dose of rhythm gaming.

lol I also got motivation to play osu mania because of funky friday back then I was playing 4 stars but now I can play 6-8 star maps (idk man the mania star rating system is insanely broken)

I started on funky friday at the beginning of 2021 until 2022 and went to rosu which is a version of osu ​​but on roblox I spent 1 year and in 2023 when I was still in the game, I got my first 5 * and it went on until 5.14* or 5.20* and in 2024 I went to osu in March so to get used to it I went to 4* in May I got my first 5 stars and this month I got my first 6* and 6.14*, I hope to go more furthermore

I was Funki Friday player and just play for fun (april 2021) And on August 2021-November i play osu just for fun . I didnt what what im need make , for what i on this game and on December 2021 i stop play osu and sometimes other In January days was too boring and i just try again play osu and watch some video . Changet skin(solleks+bojii) and start play , watch help video I cant play higher 4 star too hard But now i easier can play 4 star and maybe can GC on S (now 94.50) Just continue play, find motivation, i believe in you

Is a love hate relationship you play for months and enjoy it only to stop having fun, quit and then only to come back again a week or so later What broke the cycle for me was funnily enough dans. I remember ever since i found out about the alpha dan i had a genuine goal to work towards choke after choke i finally got and that feeling of overcoming something you used to struggle with and that is what kept me in the game Nowadays i stopped caring for rank and its helped me just enjoy the game instead of farming for top plays I wanna say get into playing dans (the reform one) at your own risk because it can take toll on your mental health if you take it too serious but nontheless its still fun Good luck with your journey!
