Probably the most wholesome video for Pokemon Go I've ever seen. Your mum going out to shoot for you is MVP quality, terrible to see someone travel for an event and get sick, but your mum just secured MVP status.

This is how I’ve played the game probably 70% of the time, hotel drifts are great and there’s almost always some stops or gyms within range. You definitely need to get on some vitamin C and zinc before traveling, and maybe some nasal saline - I get a lot of nasal congestion when traveling which can turn into stomach/throat/coughing issues if I’m sniffling up all that mucus.

Sorry you had such unfortunate timing getting sick! It's happened to me too. I have found you can stay still and do a lot but you've got to be in an area that's well populated with several stops. Hey Daxi, hope you are on the mend! So glad to have been able to meet you on Saturday even though you weren’t feeling your best. Great idea to have your mom shoot a shiny challenge! You both are so sweet in person. My husband and I were about 4th-5th at the meet and greet, I was the one buzzing with the auto catcher in the Pikachu backpack. Hope to see you at the next one.

Your hotel does seem to have insane drift. Last year at NYC, when they extended Saturday 3 hours (and we were packing to go home the next day), the drift was such that I was slingshotting everywhere, always finding different mons. I got 12 more shiny mons that way.

I feel that daxi. I was sick on Friday and still dragged myself out to Randal park because ya I'm not missing that. Worse feeling ever. on the plus side I think I managed to sweet it all out because by Saturday morning I was quite a bit better but it still sucked something awful. I saw you at Randall's Island on Saturday morning wearing a mask at the meet and greet. (The line was big and it was waaay too hot to stand in the line lol) I figured you weren't feeling well. Hopefully, you got to play Sunday. Feel better, bro! PoGo Global is over the weekend and it will pretty much have all the same stuff, right? So you'll get another crack at it. loved the video! this is how i played about 50% of my go fest experience this year because of the heat. between playing in the hotel and playing on an AC bus, i got plenty of shinies! the hotel gps also helps a ton with hatching eggs. definitely an overlooked strat!
