I Played The Hardest Wolverine Game Ever. The Deadpool & Wolverine Movie have me ready to play some wolverine games. #wolverine #marvel #deadpool Thumbnail: stjepanseji...
“The worse part of getting hit by the Hulk isn’t the impact of when he hits you. It’s afterwards when the impact and pain finally sets in and you feel like your going to collapse .” -Wolverine
Tht would have made so much since in this game development I would have to find a safe spot after i was done fighting I had time to make pizza rolls before seein my full health😅
The 360 Wolverine game (Wolverine : Originals) had that mechanic, it would tear off skin, show ribs, bones, meat hanging,al and if you stood still you can watch your body heal. Fucken peak gameplay, never seen anything of the sorts since. Great game
I mean I grew up hearing him voice Joker on BTAS and then played the Arkham games too and while I do hear a bit of Joker come out in his performance here and there, for the most part, especially when he's not growling his lines out, I don't hear it at all. Like the scene where he's talking to Hank and the professor I think he put an excellent spin on Wolverine's voice with no hint of Joker at all, at least to me. Still, when someone's voice becomes that iconic for a character it does become harder to separate the two in your mind, so I get where you're coming from.
It's definitely hard to go back to but you are 100% right. I love Origins but theres just something about this game. Well theres alot about this game actually. I love the art style, the 3d animation, the comic accurate Wolverine. I love the sounds and music, they just take me right back to a simpler time. I love the strike attacks and the story is dope too. Oh and there's just something about the claws in this one. For one they feel more noticeable and clean than on the 360 game. They just plain look good. And I love Mark Hamill's performance as Wolverine. Its easily one of my favorites. I wish he'd done it more.
You didnt have enough health in the facility bc you didnt kill the guy falling off the bridge. If you go into senses and press strike, he'll throw the guy up, stab him, and launch him into the truck. It gives you health and dogtags
I played this game when i was like 7 years ago and completely forgot about until i saw the first cutscene! You brought back so many memories. I never noticed Hamill was voicing Logan in this. He did a fantastic job
yo, this brought back memories. This was the 2nd Xbox game i ever bought. played the hell out of this, got all the costumes, and all the dog tags. Also, you can do double, and even triple takedowns as long as your positioning was good!
This game is a childhood staple for me , Wolverine is my favorite x-men superhero ( after nightcrawler) I’m glad u found the jewel of a game ✋🏾🙂↕️🤚🏾‼️
I say you play the game through because this was the best x2 wolwerines revenge video i have seen a while and you played it real good in my opinion especially the stealth level which i hate to this day and i am very curious if you can beat the next level in the game or even the next act because its brutally hard at least in my opinion. So thanks for a great video. I hope you will continue it ;)
Man. Those clawed mutant zombie guys scared me so much that it took me like a week to finish the first level. Now looking back at it, man my child self was a damn scaredy cat lol
Bro i literally forgot about this game🤯 I remember only playing this a couple times cause it kept scratching up and that alcohol wasn’t working like I needed🤣🤣
Well the reasoning behind nerfing characters is usually for two reasons. The first is an easy way to add stakes to the situation. Making a hero more vulnerable means that they could possibly die at some point or at least be seriously injured compared to usual. The other reason might be to demonstrate the worthiness of the hero. It's not exactly brave to be able to charge into danger knowing you're going to be relatively fine, whereas when these nerfed characters still put themselves on the line it demonstrates just how courageous they truly are, powers or not. Now you don't have to like the idea behind this trope but I hope this helps you understand why it's such a common story telling technique, especially among superhero stories.
Yeeah... it's still a terrible one. When you reach the point that you have to nerf the character for there to be stakes, it's time to make a new character or reboot it with a new writer starting from scratch and develop the character slower over time. Should be fewer and fewer stakes as the characters powers come about. Not more because of arbitrary nerf. Only acceptable approach to me.
@@macdaddymarioIt's not like it's forced and it only happens in fiction. An athlete can suffer an injury, a person can go ill, basically real life nerfs. Characters don't need to grow stronger forever, sometimes shit happens and you are weaker then before. Wolverine getting a virus that slowly kills him is a interesting stake for a character know to be immortal. In real life, the healthiest people can get a illness at any time, like a cancer.
I beat this without much difficulty back when it first came out. I still have the game and tried playing it on my 360 a couple years ago the controls haven't aged well making it much harder to play today due to my brain being used to certain types of controls and camera angles that don't fight against you at all points.
Loved tbis game as a kid. So underrated and hardly anyone covers it. Pro tip if u continue. If youre in a big group of enemies with guns, attack each of thrm one at a time so they drop their guns. They cant pick them up so it makes it much easier
played this game a couple time, furthest i got was like 1 level after the Wendigo fight, not touching this game again tho. I'll enjoy watching you finish it instead 'pause'.
I remember renting this game, it was fun and not that hard at all. The Wendigo fight was cool ... plus he's from the first comic Wolverine was ever in.
I wanna play this now that I’m an adult. I think it would be realllyyy fun. I was so young when I played this. I went through soooooo much trial and error lmao.
This is still unbeaten in my collection, that level were their shooting from everywhere and Lazers everywhere, you cant heal cause you cant stay still 🥺😤 then wolverine origins redeemed all previous games
I honestly think this game was a bit more in tune with how I remember Wolverine- sure he could heal but it wasn’t anything extremely quick. If I remember correctly this wasn’t a thing until the movies. I think even in the original cartoon show it would take him time to heal and he’d still be sore
I have no way of explaining the torture my eyes went through..... graphics wise. Now if they actually remade all these great games with modern technology.......
all the other X-men in this game would have been just as badass or maybe even more better.. respectfully it’d have been a cool idea for X-men legends. I think this came out after that did🤔❤️this game. Thanks 4 sharing
Is this one and xmen Wolverine origins the only two actual Wolverine games out currently. Aside from the upcoming insomniac one, these are the only games that I recall actually feeling like Wolverine.
Elden Wolverine Ring is here to save the day from software. 😂😂😂😂😂😂 game definitely seems fun but it will defer at you if you sleep up. The senses mechanic is really cool. Play iron man 1 one day.
