I had a dream that I got in Genshin, rolled on the standard banner on accident, DURING Raiden's banner (whom I also didn't want to roll on,) then got Ayato somehow. But then, in spite of that miracle, the game turned into a crappy ripoff and I couldn't even use him. I was horrified.

I once had a dream of genshin like 4 days ago (has nothing go do with pulling some char) where Ninguang and i think Kequing had some sort project or something idk and so they searched for an all knowing Geo cube like the (Geo Hypostasis) and once they found it and i think when they telled it their project they planned it said it was stupid or something so Ninguang snapped, attacked it and almost killing it where then it started begging to live while also saying it was enslaved by "Her" without ever saying who "Her" was.

Okay, I just played BOTW (ik that i'm late for the train) and as a GI player that has played for a year. Both of the game is very very very VERY different. Yes the mechanical is similar but the feeling of when you play both of the game is different. BOTW gives you alot of details from how we can do side quests, the physics of how everything do (weapons, glides, and how we run and climb), and the vast and big and beautiful landscape and map. Genshin is more fantasy but more refined than other fantasy game.Genshin is not a "finished" game as we always get updates every month. As for BOTW, it is a finish game (you get the game and you don't need any updates except DLC for more content but it doesn't intercept with the main plot). Genshin is good for a F2P game but BOTW is a much more breathtaking game. All and all both game are fun and breathtaking.
A lot of people don't realize that using mechanics from other games is a common thing in development. No developers I've seen consider it stealing or ripping off unless you use it to make the exact same game. It's just considered inspiration, and every developer I've met does it. You find a game with a good mechanic, decide it'd fit well in your game, and use it. Oftentimes people will use multiple mechanics from the same game, even. BOTW has great mechanics for an open world game, so it's no surprise they implemented a lot of its features. It should be noted, too, that the features in BOTW all exist in other games, and that it is only BOTW-like when you use those specific mechanics within one game. So it's possible (but unlikely) that they didn't even take inspiration from it at all. They probably were inspired by it, though.
@@catpoke9557 GI clearly tryharded to look as similar to BOTW as it was legally possible for marketing purpose. And I don't think it's possible to be "inspired" for marketing purpose. Especially when we are speaking about gachas. And especially when we are speaking about chinese gachas. I can pretty much imagine how devs pitched their idea for "botw gacha" by showing what features can be copied and what features wouldn't fit into gacha. And the amount of features they did copy is too large to call it just an inspiration.

Also people say Genshin is a ripoff of Breath of the Wild and whie that is a somewhat fair statement, it also takes from another game as well. Xenoblade Chronicles 2 with its gacha system, elemental combat, character swapping and some other elements. So I guess HoYoverse is just a big fan of Monolithsoft since they worked on BoTW and made XC2.

As a Bosnian I can confirm we don't have beaches, we have a 24km long rocky shore that breaks and cuts your feet but we still love it. Also Croatians that want to go to Dubrovnik have to pass trough there so it complicates their vacation which is a plus for us Bosnians.(It's a joke.)

From what I have heard those folding phones are not so great. I mean, performance wise they are, but the folding screen apparently breaks very quickly and can't be repaired.
