Tier 9 premiums work like the 'old' Tier 8 premiums of the day. Remember when Tier 8 premium tanks back in the day were like the Tier 8 Tech Tree tank but with some of the stock modules? Except now they make you gamble for this bullshit.

For all the guys with fomo out there. Remember that chieftain proto was also in boxes and became later available in the shop. It's not worth it to gamble. You will be anyway able to buy the t54d later on if you want it.
That 752 in the ruinberg map is just a lucky bastard, if i were to hit a cupola like that even with a leo 1 or s conq gun i swear rng keep fucking me up

This tank is actually good for premium IX standards. Gun is much better than it is presented in skill's video. Armor works most of the time. U have nice Shell velocity and penetration and u can trade well with other mediums due to fact u have 390
If u can afford it and u love how IT looks then u can gamble for IT. Drop rate (at least for me) was good. Ive bought 50 boxes whille missing 3 tanks and got all of them.
Hello Skill. On yesterday, the first day of issue on regular accounts, T54D was just a "reward" vehicule (no credits, no obligs) but today (15th March), that has been corrected and T54D is now a normal premium tank (with credits and obligs). It was just a muistake from WG. Additionnally, it seems that the T54D is HEAT-proof with its spaced armor, but not so much armored against APCR or even good AP.
18:00 It's listed as a premium on the event page, but not in game. So yeah, they messed up... again. Tho on Discord they have said it will be fixed "soon"
T 55A is a beast, I didn’t play it for ages I played it even before the buffed it’s gun, I was able to get like 3.8k average damage and 1k assist consistently! Anything that resembles the OG T-54 is a beast of a tank. Edit: except for the T-54D(aka Dogpoop)

I liked it: good armor (bounce mission), got on it bounty :turbo & rammer and exhaust system. Cool the can’t see u 42 cammo …it does make credits and good!

In this game, cupolas are shell magnets... every tanks can snap shot cupolas all days. Like bz176 snapshoting cupolas from 400m... there is something... there must be something...

So weirdly the game was patched already (afternoon on the 14th) to make it earn credits n bonds, but it will not be fixed to show as premium until sometime tomorrow.
The tanks fine, played 50 games in it so far, and got almost exactly the same averages as my T54, which is one of my favourite tanks, its pretty much equal to the tech tree tank, just a bit different, which is exactly where the premium tanks should be.

It's the same shit as Iron Arnie, only that his weak points were covered more and a Tier 8 from the front won't be able to hit him unless he has 330 penetration.
I don't dislike it. The gun depression is tough to play around but mobility isn't too bad and apart from the depression values, I love the gun for a tier 9 tbh.
i spend the extrodinary amount of 4.5 euros just to gamble the T54D, because i ''love'' the looking of all type T54/T55. Of course i didn't receive any tank from those 5 boxes. We and WG need to rethinking why do we call the different tanks (premium, souvenir, collector) this way?
This tank reminds me of the 274a or Obj 430. I personally medium-heavies. When youre a medium tank whi can help the heavies, its great. I dont like the opposite. When a heavy tank does have armor (like Strv K, T-10) i feel like the heavy lines suffer. At least the medium role is universal.

This is new low for WG with these emerald lootboxes: you pay for useless crap and if you are "lucky" you get some old premium tanks, a lame reskins (forest spirit, alembic) or just simply bad tier 9 premium medium that is not even a premium. Reseting server during day is just a cherry on top...
Nowadays just by playing premium tanks with premium account doesn't make enought profits. U need to use credit boosters + battle payments in order to farm effective, like 1m/h

I mean we all remember with love to the times t8 prems were worse than tech trees and saying that its so wrong that nowadays are the prems better than tech trees. But every time a new prem comes out and is not straight up OP all the CCs are kinda just crying, despite the looks of the armor that has actuall weakspots, balanced mobility to armor ok ish gun and a gun depression that isnt contributing to the hull down meta everyone of CCs seem to hate. Its just like what do you even want?
This is a heavy tank. It has everything I hate about heavies: good armor on paper that in reality only works when you are lucky, gun with horrible gun handling, bad mobility and no gun depression.
Looks like WG had too much vodka recently. Bug with the 452K, now bug with this thing. They're pushing unfinalized contents wtf??? When balancing is okay, they mess up something else. Doing a bad job is like a habit for them now. Ridiculous.
The selling point of this tank is the armour, but the armour isn't very good if you're fighting moderately competent players. Another easy skip, same as the last loot boxes, just like last time.
Bad tank like 452k and BZ176 on your first reviews 😅. Let's see how this tank will behave in the stats after couple of days. For me it doesn't look bad. In top tier games you can go on heavy line in low tier games go with the mediums.
