I Played WWE Day of Reckoning for the first time In 18 Years 

I wish they would bring these games back and playable on the switch. I got Day of Reckoning 2 for Christmas the year it came out. i believe it came out fall of that year and begged my mom for it. Played it all night and the entire christmas break. You just brought back many childhood memories as a young wrestling fan.

DOR 1 has a much better story, but the mechanics on DOR2 have been upgraded from the previous year. My friends and I have played this since middle school. We still turn it on and do a fatal 4 way when we’re all together. Definitely got some content if you do both story modes (DOR1&2) and play some matches on DOR2

Yuke's main Yokohama team worked on the main Smackdown series. Their Osaka team worked on the WWE Gamecube games and the UFC games and Wrestle Kingdom 1 & 2. I think Osaka was way better at gameplay, but Yokohama had all the pretty features. I was hoping AEW Fight Forever would marry both concepts together, but it falls short so far. It's live service, I hope they can turn it around.

DoR Smackdown story mode was random asl. It was based on the Raw story.

@@TruthTellerTV lol the first one wasn’t random, the 2nd one was random because it was based solely on the idea that U picked the Raw route. Personally I liked the idea of joining Evolution more than the Undertaker’s weak stable(even tho Taker was my favorite wrestler) anyway so I didn’t care as a kid lol.

Yeah the graphics on SD games got worse after HCTP while the graphic on the gamecube series got better each year

@@starshipfame1 yeah they definitely peaked with SVR2007 maybe it’s cause that year they decided to only work on a 360 version. i own every SVR till 2011 and haven’t gone back to play any of um

AEW Fight Forever plays A LOT like Day of Reckoning. Tons of little gameplay secrets and details.
