Zenless Zone Zero takes place in a post-apocalyptic location known as New Eridu, where entities known as Ethereal have wiped most of humanity out. As a group known as Proxies, players will be fighting back against the Ethereal using the different abilities of characters to increase damage and combos.
What are the features of Zenless Zone Zero?
In addition to the Proxy, players also use assistants known as Bangboos. By combining the abilities of different Proxies and Bangboos, players can deploy greater damage and combos onto enemies. The game features an in-game clock system, with the days split into morning, afternoon, night, and late-night.
Zenless Zone Zero (Chinese: 绝区零 Jué Qū Líng, "Perilous Zone Zero") is a free-to-play action RPG developed and published by HoYoverse. It will be released for Windows, PlayStation 5, iOS, and Android on July 4th, 2024. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic futuristic metropolis known as New Eridu.

ZZZ is not open world and it's better for it. As big and beautiful as Genshin may be, when you actually stop to look at the cities, they look empty, confusing, and nonsensical. Every single city map in ZZZ feels lived-in and like a real place, it actually compelled me to walk everywhere and take pictures where I would never have thought about it in Genshin

For me ZZZ is a good promote for Project Mugen! 😁The most enjoyable part of the game is the central hub, the city. But it is tiny, the territory is too small, everything is closed by invisible walls, etc. But in Project Mugen, theoretically, the entire game will represent one big open world in the form of such a city. So I would like for them to succeed, because I heard that the project is doing very sadly. And what about the ZZZ - the characters and battle system is ok - not bad, not awesome. But this mini-game with moving around the screens is very annoying, it looks completely out of place in a 3D action game. It seems to me that this game is aimed purely at a mobile audience, because there this mini-game may be appropriate to some extent to take a break from the inconvenient touch controls in an action game. In my opinion, they should throw out this system with screens and make it like in HSR - separate small locations through which you can move and explore the world. But apparently this game was planned as a small game and they did not have the goal of creating a game on the level of previous projects.

So far I’m liking it. Probably drop Star Rail since im getting bored of it. Can’t wait for mods to get poppin in this game. Im getting old so I’m becoming more casual as a gamer. Not as sweaty as I use to be with everything needing to be hard.

But in terms of longevity do you think that zzz will be able to be at the same level as the BIG 3 of the gacha games ?? Or will it be a niche game like what happen to HI3/PGR?? I'm just curios of people opinions about the longevity of zzz

Niche as PGR and HI3 but bigger than them since its the new hot Hoyo game. It has already made 25 Million all around the world.

Eh, it's far more enjoyable than Genshin's snail-paced... everything, so I'm not bothered by the game's flaws. Need to try HSR again since I dropped that pretty quickly for no real reason.

Zzz is the least story driven game of all the hoyo games while genshin is the most, its basically a fantasy game so it makes sense to me atleast why they dont wanna put skip button in genshin

The problem is that Genshin's story isn't and was never good, thus why the skip option needs to exist. Cutscenes drag out too long with very little to say and the tidbits of relevant information we get from them is... underwhelming. I'd say it's wrong to say that ZZZ isn't "story driven" as it's got a far more interesting story and premise that Genshin (albeit, still just typical HoYo mediocrity)
