I loved the gag but also liked the way that the teachers tried to really help you. And that one teacher that realized you were fixing your intonation was really listening to you play.
@@YearofShakespeare Ya Spanish is my first language and years ago I took a Spanish class in college for an easy credit. I had to fake like I didn't know Spanish the whole semester. The teacher didn't fall for it, and I feel like she purposely tortured me all semester because if it😂 She would give me this evil look all the time like "I know you're faking it🧐" 😂 Because I had no clue how to be bad at Spanish. No matter how hard I tried to suck, I was too good 😂 Acting isn't one of my skill sets either.
I really like how Amy is saying things like ‘it’s like a car suspension’ because she knows he’s a mechanic. That’s actually helps when you have something like a muscle memory to learn something. It’s like the karate kid
This is a key life skill. Being able to figure out what other people understand, and then explain new things to them using analogies to those things. I've seen so many business pitches fail because the presenter could only use analogies that they understood and had prepared before or used before, not that the audience would understand. This woman nailed it. She didn't prepare that. She payed attention, during the meeting, to figure out her audience, and adapted her content accordingly, on the fly.
my thechher Mrs. fleacher pen-checks me just by well..by checking things that were correct that she thought was "incorrect" my mom is texting the princable that she is checking my work witch is correct in not incorrect so yea
Not every artist could be a good teacher. Not every teacher can teach in a flexible way to meet the differences of students. Finding those teachers who shine like star is invaluable work! Good Job!
Well, they are very pre scripted to make money on their channels..This same video has been faked thousands of times by thousands of channels..Pretty sad people believe these are even 0.069 % real
Hey Brian, while it’s true many prank channels are scripted, and that sucks, these are all 100% real, and I don’t know how to prove that to you other than to tell you to contact the teachers directly and ask them if this was a setup. If you can think of a better way to prove these are authentic, I’m all ears.
They actually look pretty natural. I guess he is saying that the violin teachers community seems to have a very positive mood and a real teaching vocation. I think finding another awesome violing player in online class can't be offensive in any way
In my opinion the blonde teacher was really great. Because she not just said “Oh yeah and do this because it is how it is” she was like “Do it this way because of the vibrato what you learn later” or “Do it that way because of the physical laws”
@@KING-FU LOL. I live in a constitutional carry state, but I'm always looking for a deal. Buying direct should be cheaper. LOL I've only got 80 rounds left.
There are so many teachers with "my life sucks" written all over their faces when you do this. Their faces and timing on the reveal (the musical one) is always fun to watch. "OK, what's going on here?" That is kind of THE question, isn't it? :-) I liked that the dude took the pranking so well and actually enjoyed and questioned the stunt. Man, if these teachers can put up with that and stay on track, and they did, they are good for anything. I actually wouldn't be surprised if most of them have seen worse, in the musical portion, anyway.
did you know that my is teacher mrs. flecherpenchecking me by checking tiny itsy bitsy pieces witch she tought was "incorrect" o mymom is just putting notes like (stop penchecking my son's work Mrs. Flecher) so yea my mom is super duper nice :).
I had never been interested on playing the violin, but I must say it was amazing to see their reactions and all the good vibes behind this video. This made me look for more violin videos to watch. Great job man! :)
I always love these videos! It's a pain with how renown you are because I bet it gets harder and harder to hide from the really good teachers, which was evident in the last one. Can't wait for you next one, though! Hope you have a wonderful night :)
All pranks aside the teachers you featured are really inspiring. I have never so much as picked a violin up before, but now I know how to hold it AND where to position the bow I'm seriously thinking about learning. I also love the Peer Gynt Suite, Hall of the mountain king.
Rob Landes, I'm not sure if you know this but Established Titles is a SCAM. Establish titles sells you a piece of land that is so small that it cannot be registered as an actual piece of bought land. Established titles is the only one who will recognize you as a Lord/Lady because the land was bought via a website that is not actually partnered with the country of the land. Hope you find this helpful.
Yea and literally every RU-vidr I watch is sponsored by them it honestly annoying at this point. But websites like this can’t be trusted. I think in 2020 is when they started to hugely advertise around Christmas time. And the sad things is that it works.
The Teachers were fantastic! Thank you for bringing recognition to quality teaching. I loved their individual techniques, patience and skills. Your playing isn't bad either ;)
I got a laugh at the alternate lyrics I heard once. Mary had a little lamb A little pork A little jam Mary had some egg on toast and a little potted roast
It was really nice to see how well these teachers did! Really cool to promote them, although I personally would like the reveal to be a bit more subtle, like coming out in a boring exercise that escalades or something. Great job!
You “always wanted to play?” The stop being a flatliner and DO IT!!!!! AAAAAHHHHH! DO IT! FUCKING DO IT! AHHHHH!!! OHHHH! OHHH! AHHHHHHH! DO IT! I always wanted to to fly planes, so I do. PLAY THE FUCKING VIOLIN! Rent or buy one today or tomorrow (depending on what time it is), then schedule a lesson, NOW GIRLIE!!!!! DO IT! GODDAMIT…DO IT! Look up comedian “Sam Kinneson,” picture his screaming thing as the tone in which I’m telling you to pick up violin and play.
Great three teachers, different styles but they all have something really endearing that allows for an emotional connection so important for good teaching.
This was really funny and very nice of you to support these teachers. I think you got them just next time if you're going to wear a long wig pull it back into a ponytail because obviously it don't look right 🤣🤣🤣
Cool video. I like how you are trying to add something to the "pretending to be a beginner" genre. If this finds you, here are some video ideas I would love to see. - Mute who can only respond with their violin. (You can give them a heads up or not when hiring them) - "Pretending to be a Beginner But I'm in Love with My Violin", Explain to them how you might be hurting your violin and caress it or even kiss it. You could even pronounce your love to it, but sometime outrageous would be interesting. - Star student who explains that they are having an "off day" and suddenly "feels it", revealing their ability after a few less successful attempts. (You could set this up with saying you went to online music school or have been told you are amazing by your wife) - Insecure violinist. (E.g. They think all their notes are screechy and their intonation is off.) But in reality they are perfect, and at the end they play really well (After they've been given a confidence boost from the instructor). - Play with a quicker tempo and when they ask you to slow down, slooowww dooowwwn. (Play Goldilocks with the instructor, giving them some explanation regarding your tempo) Also, if you are interesting you could change your explanation for why you're having a lesson. It doesn't need to be that believable, most people won't question it too hard/ forget about after a while. E.g. I want to play a wedding processional song in order to marry my violin or I plan to serenade my wife in front of all our friends, I just want to make sure I get everything perfect. What are the goals that these ideas are trying to achieve? Retain the component of learning the violin and have an impactful reveal. These are just ideas, you can take them into consideration, alter them, or discard them. If others have an ideas or variations of the ones posted here, I would love to hear them!
This is great brainstorming, thanks for taking the time to write it up! I’ve already got another idea in this vein that makes me fall over with laughter, so I hope you can see it in March!
When the one teacher asked if your partner was going to be alright, I was waiting for you to say yeah, then glance in his direction and scream out STOP! DROP! AND ROLL! 😂😂😂😂
LOL I loved how he was planning to play a nursery rhyme then jumped into some epic classical music. It just shows how much we grow; from scratchy nursery rhymes to god music
This is really nice thing to do. For the teachers. They surely will have a plenty of customers. But I really like Omegle content and that one when you went to strangers house to play a concert. Genuine surprises are the juice of this channel!
