Right!?! I don’t understand how this can work for me, either, because I want to use a pen name too, but how can you share something that’s supposed to be a secret, but you want a following?!?🤨
Yes, this is rather a...strange approach. People usually use pen names to either hide their personal info / their real name or they use one because they're writing in a different genre than what they normally do, but they're upfront with their audience and tell them in this case. Why promote a book, talk about the process, but not tell your audience what the book is or where to find it? Why talk about the book at all if you're not going to share it with the audience you've gathered? It's very odd.
Yes!! Romance all day everyday! I used to be in a reading slump until I started reading romance and now I read about 10 books a month. Now it’s hands down my favorite genre followed by mystery/suspense. I’d love to hear you talk more about your experience starting out as a romance novel writer ❤ I hope I randomly stumble upon your book so that I can read it!
Interesting! I've thought about using other names because I wrote a sci-fi and an adventure trilogy that's different than my normal historical fiction stuff...my Regency mystery still fits at least. Not sure yet. Starting over is difficult....

I'm so glad you found this helpful! And yes, my new IG is completely separate from my other accounts, while still being easy to switch to when needed. 👍🏻

Wait, if you're publishing under a pen name "anonymously" what do you do about your picture? How can you have a real picture of yourself if you're trying to be anonymous? I'm writing my first book and going under a pen name, but have no idea what to put up for a headshot on my website. Maybe a caricature? What are your plans on this one? Curious to know.
If you don't have them, get some good blue light filters on your glasses. Those definitely help. I noticed a huge difference at my job where I'm in front of the screen all day when I got them.
