Fully agree about the regen braking being additive, On a run from Derbyshire to skegness (95 miles) in our 2024 kona ev (it has proper 1 pedal driving) I didn't use the brake pedal once, the regen did it all.
Good to see, I’d guess most people watching this may only have a company for investing in which case you can’t get the tax benefits. I had the M3 since 2019 and got the new version in April 2024, they are great cars despite little niggles
They also have extremely low interest rates for finance. I believe you can do it for defenders as well as they are classed as commercial vehicles. Wish they could be more tax efficient for hybrids, electric cars aren't the future, it will he petrol and hydrogen for a long time, IMO. Great video, though very insightful.
Not for the highland, interest rates were nearly 9% at one point, right now they are just under 6%, you can sometimes get low interest on the Y though. IMO electric is the future for most cars, hydrogen will maybe be the future for large vehicles (lorry’s etc) but it isn’t very efficient at all so doesn’t make sense for that to be used for cars. As battery tech improves people will need able to charge as far as hydrogen can fill up, and the vast majority of people charge at home
Re Charging battery 20-80%. That's only for the long LR. SR hasn't the same restrictions, hence why I didn't buy LR and I didn't feel it was worth the money
@@JustinWilkinsdue to the way LFP batteries work (very little voltage drop from full to empty) Tesla recommends charging it to a 100% at least once a week to keep the BMS calibrated. Also due to the chemistry it also degrades slower at higher state of charge than NMC batteries. Now the LR also gets a better speaker system vs the RWD version and faster charging.
Hi im Justin, im a property investor. Thanks for your feedback, I’m so sorry. Yes I’m a property investor, I got a Tesla because my business which helps property investors has allowed me too 😃
No turn signal stalk, that is a deal breaker for many people. Every luxury car has Turn Signal Stalk: Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, and Rolls Royce too .
I feel like its another Tesla innovation that we'll start seeing other car manufacturers copy... its taken a while for me to get used too, sometimes I'm a fan, sometimes it frustrates me.
@@JustinWilkins _I feel like its another Tesla innovation_ It is not an innovation, its just a way to cut costs. The same reason that Tesla has a large glass roof. Cost cutting, a way to increase profits .
I love how people who try to insult others are the same people who will never reach the heights, achievements and wealth of those they’re insulting. Have some chips with that salt, and be positive.
Hi Justin, if you outright bought your new Tesla you might have made a mistake because the resale values are not very good. I've recently leased a brand new Tesla Y on a 2 year contract. All the benefits you mentioned in you video but no issues trying to sell a vehicle that may well be superseded by newer versions in 2 years. Think IPhone upgrades!
