Just bought one from BTOD and the quality was terrible. Broken wheels, loose screws and wiggly arms and pieces. Covered in scratches and scratchy cloth. I am getting a refund. Just a heads up to my experience
You know what’s wild? These from Madisonseating have been great to this point. From my research online I was terrified to buy from Madison because the BTOD guys would trash it online, but so far so good. That sucks, sorry for your experience over there. I’d say try MS but I’ve seen mixed reviews online. I’m 2 for 2 on these so it may be worth a shot.
glad i found your channel, i was really skeptical of their website because their prices even for used office chares or hard to believe. I will consider getting one from them soon. thank you
So 4 months later and still no complaints. You know the little random price I put on back in the video? It doesn’t really stay there but it seems to not really serve a function. Still happy with the purchase of both chairs.
Just got my chair in from them and can't find any complaints. Watched your video and realized I didn't put that little black piece on so I had to take the back off again and put that piece in.
Thanks for this! I am in Canada but plan to have this shipped to my friend in the US if I see him in a few months. Way cheaper than anything I can find here used (and not even refurbished). I like the idea of not sitting on some gross used upholstery, and this price can't be beat!
At the time I paid about $250 each. My back pain got much better after getting this. I had a cheap office max chair before. Honestly I think any of the chairs in this price point (I mean the price point of the chairs original msrp) would be a major improvement over the cheaper chairs you get from the big box stores.
Coming from a basic staples chair I’ve found it to be a huge improvement. It is by no means uncomfortable, but it’s not plush either. I work from home so I spend a significant amount of time sitting in it and I don’t end my days with any level of discomfort (like I did after long periods of time in the staples chair). My biggest take away is the build quality though, it’s built like a tank. I never doubt how sturdy this thing is, at the time of filming this I weight around 185-190, and now I’m up to 220. No creaking of difference in the chair. I know there are more comfortable chairs out there based on reviews I’ve seen, but this one is more than sufficient in that dept.
also depends on how heavy you are, the more you weight, it puts more pressure on the seating, all that adds up overtime, as well as how many hrs you put in per day?
