Thank you for this. I have been struggling to find a chair after having lower back and butt/leg issues which started recently from the whole work from home the last few years. I tried the leap v1 and flexispot c7 with no luck. Either had tailbone pain or i guess the sides of the chair cut off circulation. You have given me a few chairs to order and test out. I was trying to save money but as this point comfort and wellbeing trumps the 1k price tags.

Really nice job man! Im looking for the softest arm pads (i lean on elbows a lot) and most comfortable seat that doesn't bottom out. Considering there seems to be a million options this may take awhile to narrow down.

Thank you for the review, as a previous owner of Branch, I need to remind people of the lumbar support issue, it's stiff and no cushion at all, the worst is it doesn't really support your lumbar. (pls check other reviews on the internet) I also want to provide one option for the low budget tier, Moustache MOFC-1062E, it's a hidden gem. I owned it before I switched over to the branch one, my wife and I both think Moustache one totally beats branch one. But again as you mentioned, everyone is built differently.

Im here because I have an all mesh chair and weight 210. As you warned, its sagging to the point of uselessness. My circulation gets cut off by the edges in less than 3 minutes. Time for a new chair! On the plus side it never smelled bad because it breaths so well.

Thanks for all the videos. I bought a Emobdy Gaming and Atlas headrest recently. Upgrading from a 15 year old highly adjustable Mirra. The mirra back (hard plastic) is really flexible and comfy in my opinion. 6'2" big guy. I'm sure the embody will be better though, but I have been comfy on the Mirra for a long time.

Great video. The Anthros chair is the least comfortable chair I have ever been in. I would be very leery of a wide recommendation for that chair. Fern is best chair for me and I prefer the mesh because it is so much cooler than the digital knit.

Greatly appreciate these reviews. I wanted to add suggestions for reviews. That is measurement from butt to knee, butt to arch, butt to base of neck. The height is good general rule but there are cases of people with height of 5’6 yet has shorter leg due to their ratio to leg to chest. There is a reason why some models has very long legs. From my understanding it has something to do with genetics and when growth spurts occur. Keep up the good work

I have a soji i Adore it. I used to have like really bad neck issues. Because my chair was horrible the soji is amazing very comfortable and got rid of the neck issues. It is probably one of the best bang for buck chairs out there i am 5'10 normal like sneakers

Admittedly I'm only 6 minutes into the video, but I wish you would not kinda encourage users to sit cross-legged full-time work (as you did by recommending the SIHOO M18 for short users). Sitting cross-legged full-time can lead to a number of health issues in the long term, e.g. spine misalignment, various knee issues, increased blood pressure, etc. Your dedication to this niche is outstanding! Thank you for the review. Which chair would you recommend for someone with sciatica and needs to log 10 hours a day for work? Also short. I heard I need a forward tilt to help with my issues, but I also want a super comfortable seat pad. Current chair for reference: Office Master OM5 - it's an okay chair, but not a 10 hr a day chair. Love your videos! One suggestion is to bring a friend that's 6' ± 2" so that we can relate. Personally I've shrunk from 6' @ 18yrs to 5'11" @ 42yrs. Average US male is 5'9".

I had to stop using my SecretLabs Omega because of the raised bucket-style sides of the seat. Over time, they were pressing in against my thighs and it became quite uncomfortable, which sucks because I love everything else about it. But yeah, I am back in the market for a chair that will remain comfortable over many hours of gaming and right now I'm using a basic hand-me-down office char with a flat seat that is so much better than my Omega. EDIT: I ordered a BDOT remanufactured Leap V2 can't wait to try it out.

Love my Steelcase Gesture. No other chair has the unique armrest features, and it's super easy to find some memory foam covers for the armrests if you want padding. Word to the wise on the Herman Miller Embody chair (and Logitech equivalent), test drive one for yourself and sit in it for at least 10 minutes. Some people have a very bad pinching in the lower back after sitting in it for extended periods. Usually unnoticeable if you just sit in it briefly, but very uncomfortable if you're one of the people that doesn't fit quite right in it. Trust me, I REALLY wanted to get an Embody myself before hearing about people with that issue, and found I had the same issue as well.

Great video, I'm gonna go with the Sihoo M57 instead of the M18 tho since from what i saw its just better in any way and only slightly more expensive. the M90D isnt in stock anymore so thats why. But I'm still gonna use your coupon so you get affiliate click :)

I’ve been contemplating the fern and gaming embody very hard, and i’ve decided to go with the fern solely because of the design. I’m a design snob and i’m forfeiting utmost comfort that I know would come with the gaming embody because I am not a fan of the limited choices. The purple is horrendous, I wish there was at least a neutral option because if there was i’d 100% be getting the gaming embody. I think the fern will be comfortable enough and the design won’t clash so hard with my home interior

The Sihoo M90D seemed to check most of my boxes. -I'm 6'3 250 lbs -High arm rests which is good for holding a controller for me -I'm an "ergonomic rebel" :p -Budget under $300 -Good headrest -Forward-sitting backrest (when you said that I was pretty much sold because I like to lean forward sometimes and I could use the support) I mean the list goes on, but alas it appears to have gone off the market as I can't find it on the official website and it is unavailable on Amazon. Do you know if Sihoo has discontinued it by chance? If they have, do you have any recommendations based off of my (admittedly nitpicky) checklist? Also just subscribed after going through a bunch of your vids. Your channel is an informational powerhouse! I applaud your attention to detail and your layman's terminology. It feels like you're talking to your viewers as if they're your buddies that are in the market for a chair and each of them have very different bodies and preferences, therefore you cover every little thing. Thank you for putting so much effort into these videos. I can tell you are very passionate!

I also got an Aeron for lower back pain. Best chair I will ever own, had it for about 6 years now - got it refurbished for £650. The same model as mine is now being sold for £460 refurbished if anyone is interested.

great review, for long sit times - height 5'7" - which of these chairs would you recommend for someone who needs to be able to remove the armrests from the chair? (I need to be able to just keep the armrests off without actually installing the arms) - picture just the seat itself and the back of the chair with nothing at all on the sides - if you are wondering why - its for occasional guitar playing while sitting on the chair - guitar players can't really use a chair with arm rests (or anything on the sides) since armrests would get in the way - I assume installation of the armrests is not required on some of these chairs?

I am curious what you think about ticova?(28min in the video), because i want to replace my old chair and i was thinking about the Mellet, but since i am on EU , can't find one here. I can find siho m18 and ticova for the same price but i never bought a ergo chair so i have no idea what to get lol , i guess il keep checking info about them , my budget is up to 200€ since i need to replace my whole setup , i might cheap on the desk and other stuff for now and go for bigger budget on the chair since chair is the most important "part" of the setup for prolonged work or gaming hours.

Very informative for buying a chair online ... wish I would of watched this before spending hrs online and reading / comparing mini chairs that look exactly alike and having lots of small font variables in the specification tap on the end I still ended up with a crappy chair that I simply didn't even want to disassemble and send it back I'm having to go through all why the search again
