Every day is a great day when Lonny has a new video. Although I don’t understand guitar things at all, it’s still very interesting to me. Learning something new every day! Very “QWISPY” sounds with the new pick up.
Yea they sounds good! A larger difference in tone than I was expecting. And like I say in the video, the PRS ones are great too, just a different sound.
I saw you guys in Wheatland, I had the poster and gave you guys some letters during the VIP! You're awesome! Been bingeing all your videos- safe travels for the rest of the tour!! Can't wait to see you guys again!! 🤘🏾
Lonny I also want to add all the changes that the technician makes to the bass it is really impressive, great job on it! really very surprising! 🎸👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I definitely love the new sound of the Lonny pickups! In fact, for me, when I listen, I notice a huge difference! Let's say it sounds much clearer and smoother, if I had to describe it in any way it would be like this! Thank you for always continuing to teach much more, I thought it was an excellent video! and also tell you again that thank you for everything, you are the best!
i saw you in riverside last night. it was my first bvb concert! i was the one with the pink sign that said "Im here for CC!!!" and kept yelling YA LONNY!!!!! lol i THINK CC waved at me....
Awesome video. Happened to see if there was a video on any HZ40 Bass pickups (meant for 5 string, but fits my 4 string better.). This video is good enough to excite me for my shipment coming in a couple days to fix this same issue my bass is having. I’ll be slapping one on a Dean Edge 09 I am playing on. The tone in my opinion also sounds a lot better with the EMG, thick and cleaner! Will update you with how my upgrade goes! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
These were the bass pickups you were talking to me about on our call before the Birmingham show! I can definitely tell the difference, to me, the bass pickups make the sound of the bass sound a bit crisper and cleaner as well, and the vibrations are a bit sharper with the EMGs. They're subtle differences, but definitely noticeable.
Lonny I would love to hear and see a video of you comparing your two basses, the one with active pickups and the one with regular emgs, also it sounds insane I can’t wait to see what tones you’ll use and what tones you’ll get out of those pickups!!
Sure thing! I’ll see if I can get that going here on the channel. The Actives still haven’t been installed on the other one yet, but my tech has them ready to go, so hopefully soon.
@LonnyEagletonMusic very much so! There was no base at the last bvb show I saw so much better all around hahaha 🤣 when I saw bvb in 2014 Ash's bass was a little wacky, all you could hear hahaha, but was good
Hi Lonny. If I was to swallow an EMG 35HZ pickup and have someone slap on my belly, could I record a trap beat that way? Asking 4 a friend thx. love the video btw
Bro, as the bass player the EMG pickups sounds way more better and very clean sound in my opinion, so you did a great job to change it and it doesn't feel the buzz anymore.
We actually had a new FOH start with us at the beginning of this tour, so he never had any experience with us prior to the EMG swap. That being said, he did tell me that the bass was sounding nice out front.
What has been the most complicated part of this tour and what has been the most impressive or what have you liked the most so far? Greetings from Mexico 🇲🇽🖤✨
A combination of so many things. Can’t pinpoint it to one specific person. It’s more so a collection of various bands, events, and moments during my teenage years!
@@LonnyEagletonMusic sounds about the same as i do! :D thats great! EMG´s sounded pretty cool, and BVB needs BIG lows for the bass lines! You´re sounding great man!
In my opinion, the sound of EMG Pickups is definitely lower frequency, thicker and darker. And I got so used to the PRS sound in your videos. The PRS sound is a bit higher and brighter in my opinion. Created for playing more lively crazy songs in metal music.
