HEY DOLLS! :) So I've been wanting to switch up my curls for the summer but I dd not want to damage my hair. So I came across aa few natural ingredients to lighten your hair and WOW it works!! PS my curls were left super soft, bouncy and hydrated after washing this DIY mask out! I'll probably do this a few more time to get lighter results!

I've read that the natural peroxides in honey need a higher ph in order to be released, and that adfong lemon juice will probably counter act that. I'd keep only the honey, cinnamon and water , and maybe use the lrmon juice other tomes separately

true, lemon damages more your scalp and does not moisturize as the other ingredients do.

I honestly seen this years ago and never thought it would work on darker hair and I'm amazed. It looks so pretty natural but also makes your curls pop. I need to try this out asap

i just use lemon and water and sit in the sun and since i have very light brown hair it works pretty nicely

It does but you have to be careful as it's very harsh on hair and can cause breakage

I currently have the mixture in my hair right now about to sleep! When I wake up I will update you :) Edit 1: I just realized that I did not add lemon juice to the mixture because I put in a mixture before watching this video

my hair were like light-ish brown last summer but somehow they turned dark chocolate brown, i dont want em to turn red but i want em to be light brown like they were before, will this work?

lemon + sun will lighten it but it will dry your hair so try olive oil to give moisture

You can also use peroxide and baking soda. I used this on my hair last summer and there was zero damage and the results were great!

@@tracyhall4648 I never mentioned that peroxide was natural, all I said was that it caused zero damage and being that my hair texture is similar to hers I thought I would bring up another method I used.
