Young man you are doing a great job and like your Dad he has taught you well, keep up your good work and like your dad I am very proud with the work you do and hope other young people follow your lead, go get em young man and keep helping dad. You Rock.
I hate it when I make more work for myself but usually have a good laugh about it after. Your experience with painting your wheels brought a smile to my face because I could see myself doing the very same thing!😂 Keep those great videos coming! 🙏👍
The Cub Cadet loss sucks but a good lesson on what to invest time on. Derek totally learned the same things trying to rescue cars. If the motor doesn't rotate, no need to fix the brakes :)
Good to see you put on another video. I’d like to see you make it a racer but one that you’re safe on. Keep doing what you’re doing. Great to watch you do and learn.
Excellent video. I look forward to all the new content coming. Something to consider about the gearing. When I was a kid my grandpa made me a “go kart” out of a lawn mower. He put on a set of stepped pulley on the front and back. You could swap the belt to change the top speed/power (like on a drill press) so I could still pull stuff around, but also go too fast. I like the idea of making it Deere themed, as well.
Can't wait to see that bad boy haulin' the mail once you change those sprockets Bentley! Get your dad to show you the garbage bag trick next time you need to paint wheels.
Hey Ben you're doing a great job entertaining us old folks, thanks for that. When you get time I'd like to see you get going on the go cart that you and Bailey painted. GIT SUM!
You'll always have an audience here. Keep up the good work young man, keep teaching people to not be afraid to get your hands dirty. And just keep making sure you're having fun too.
Bentley, you're going places, man! Love what you're doing on the channel. I have a suggestion that *_might_* help make that a dual-purpose mower (drifting *_and_* hauling). If you can find two more drive pulleys - one big and one small, the same sizes as the ones that are on there - maybe you could weld a large and a small one together for the front and a small and a large one together in the back. Do it like they're stacked like plates, and centered on each other. Then put one stack in the front and the other stack in the back, but upside down from the set on the front. Then you can just switch the belt to get either speed or torque depending on whether you're using the torque (small front/big rear) set or the speed (big front/small rear) set just by moving the drive belt to the different pulleys. It's just an idea... But you might be able to make it work. Whatever you decide to do with it, I'm sure it's going to be cool! Keep having fun and doing what you do. We're all here for ya.
Awesome work on your lawnmower project. You should try to install 1 more Carb on your lawnmower of yours. So you can have dual carburetors. Otherwise, it's doing very well. It's great that you're following your Dad's footprint. Keep up with your great work ethic.
Keep up the good work little feller! If you wanna make it go faster put a smaller pulley on the rear differential and figure out a belt and it’ll speed it up
Hey buddy, did you get in touch with RU-vid to see what is going on with your NOTIFICATIONS, it's still NOT working, just wondering, I really like watching you restore these older models, CYA SOON NEXT TIME 👍✌️🚜🌞😎
I can tell you are sure having fun on your summer vacation! Well because you are cranking out the vids😊 Remember, before you take your first rip on trails or track, take a slow recon for hazards dropped overnight. It saves trips to the ER wrecking all your fun, lol.
Excellent video Bentley :) fully understand and when you're age was busy too also lots do famillies plus more! Fix up John Deere one with nice seat and head lights too!
For some reason even though I’m a subscriber you videos don’t come out on my feed. I have to look for it in order to see it. I’m sure other subscribers are having the same issue.
Side note if you decide to want to put the safety seat back on. You can set the parking brakes and it won't shut off when you get off of it. Hopefully that helps. All mowers these days require you to press the brake to start it or get off of it. Cars with a manual transmission also require you to press the brake and clutch to start them as well.
my friend is an electrician and he told me he always disables the seat switch. All you have to do is reverse the wire connectors and it will run with not sitting on it.
Well done kid. An FYI sabre was made by John deere used to they were made by a company called American yards and eventually mtd bought them all which is why every mower these days is basically the same sadly. When I was your age I loved wheel horses and Kubota diesels. But I had several older John deeres. Funny how your sabre to me was a new mower cuz I recall when it was made. Lol
If you don't want to break the bead and use the garbage bag trick like your dad, a deck of playing cards works good too. Dad's way is the best, but the playing cards will fit in there and stay in there it just takes a lot of them. Lol. But I know that you know the playing card trick because you've heard your dad talk about it many times.
You go Bentley! Getting a guest feller on the set already. Who knew! Always good to get an "expert" in to help. Did that new battry have a go handle? Hmmm??? LOL.
Cool that you by passed the driver delete button. It’s gonna look cool flying into the woods when you fall off! 😳 I’m kidding. Be safe! 👍🏼👍🏼 on the video!
Coming along nicely. I'm still interested to see how the transmission is going to handle the pulley swap. I have a feeling the hydro unit isn't going to like a substantially faster input.
Good job, Bentley! Vids are getting better every episode! Maybe plan ahead on the sequence of your builds. It'll save you time when you gather all your parts and supplies before you start the project! You're lightyears ahead of 11 year kids, I know!
Upload when you can, you have a lot to do. Could you use the plastic bag trick, that your Dad uses, to paint rims in the future? Is the light bar going on the LaSabre? What about a custom horn? Thank You Bentley!
Tell ur Pop to letcha get work done on that lil John Deere diesel he used to drag the towed brush hog around. Or maybe one of the fifty old beater trucks he has on the rusty acre. You can still goof off on the mowers for fun, but if you're trying to drag trees and brush, a guy needs more than a mower. Ima guess that's what happened to the CubCadet?
