This is Marilyns's story of living with pulmonary fibrosis, like so many, it took several visits to her GP before she was referred to the hospital. It was there it was discovered she had pulmonary fibrosis, an incurable, terminal disease with an average life expectancy of 3 - 5 years. Many doctors and consultants are not familiar with the disease, its signs, and its symptoms. Some people have remained undiagnosed or missed diagnosed for up to 2 years. Support Groups like ourselves strive to promote and make the medical profession aware that Pulmonary Fibrosis exists
