Hey Jake, "epá" usually is something we use to call someone's attention about something. It means something like "watch out" and we always follow it with the thing we mean to call attention upon. So it can be used like "epá watch out for the car" or "epá don't forget to close the door" and so on. Greetings from Portugal and I hope you had an amazing time in the beautiful Alentejo. It's definitely not the most vegan friendly place to be if you can't grow your own food, but it's still a great place to live. Wish you luck in your traveling, I appreciate the quality of your teaching, keep it up!

Lisbon fire You have no proof that he's a fraud. You don't have any videos on you're channel showing Kung Fu techniques so I'm assuming that you don't know anything about Kung Fu (neither do I mind you). Unless you can show me an authentic and believable source that says he's a fraud (not that blog bullshit) I'm believing he's fairly authentic (unless you are some bot who's task is to leave hate comments on his channel)

@@loganfoxtca2428 I learn Kung Fu I'm a fraudster, someone else from Europe learns Kung Fu they are fraudster. Doesn't matter from where you learned it. As long as you are not Chinese and learned Kung Fu you are a fraudster. At least the Japanese don't have any problem with us learning karate.

That being settled let's get down to your opinion. You have no videos on your channel showing "genuine" Kung Fu and you certainly aren't any popular master or there would be some trace of you on the internet. Whine all you can but, as I said earlier until you can point me to a reputable, genuine and believable source that says he's fake I'm not changing my opinion. And say that I'm pulling the race card but it's what happening. You people are so butthurt that someone else has mastered your ways that you want to take him down. Good luck and have a terrible day.

We are just proud that something's that is being used worldwide was originally made by us. Take yoga for instance. The whole frigging world is using it and guess what we are not butthurt when a yoga teacher is someone who's not Indian. In fact we are happy that something that originated here is being spread all over the world by people like these.

Just found this... just wanted to let you know that Portugal has its own martial art called "Jogo do Pau". Back in the ole days when the guys walked to the local for the weekend dance I.e. to meet the girls, they all took their staff. "To ward off stray dogs, so to say", as my grandpa used to say. Anyway some of your sweeps in other videos on bo-staff I had already seen him show me like 40 years ago. Brings back memories.... anyway... apparently Portugal won some international tournaments with its fighting style. Or so I heard. Small world....

Help me teach basics of self defense. Recently I have beaten with a wooden thick rod by two people very brutally. They hit me in my back , in my nose and even in my head with rod. You're young, healthy, and wealthy (compared to your location). This "Quit America" business can work for you. How committed are you? If you become sick, very sick, such a cancer, will you stay the course or come running home? The universe is a balance. The US has many problem, and many benefits, the same with rural simple living. The balance is because the benefits and problems are tied together. My question is, Are you trying to take the benefits of both while mitigating the problems? The issue is that such living is unsustainable -- yes, it is sustainable for some people, but it is a practice that cannot be adopted by everyone or else tg he system on the whole collapses.

I love your videos...I need a good laugh! You better not hurt anyone with your fake kung fu or you'll not have the money to travel anymore. And I am not some brain dead minion, I have studied Shao Lin Kung Fu for over 40 years and do not like fakes that can hurt people! The crane style is one of the 5 animals style, it is not called " bird " style!!! And if you " know" Chi Kung, why don't you know of " yi chin ching"? ( Iron body classic ).
