Hey! I paused and read through the ingredients, I believe the back makes it look like more because its listing the ingredients that are used in the Masala Chai, since Masala Chai (Spiced Tea) is a black tea with its own spice blend mixed in. If you notice on the front of the container it has Masala Chai in big letters with the ingredients making it listed smaller below it. Hope that helps!
This was a great review. The P & C was perfect. I don't drink coffee but the benefits of the mushrooms I will try. Thank you for your time in making this review.
I like it. I drink it every day. I work at Starbucks and sometimes I put a shot of espresso. I'm good for the day, and I don't drink more coffee so I can sleep at night. Thanks
One thing I have never experienced was a coffee rush, just the opposite. No matter how much coffee I drink it makes me tired. I have been doing self trials to determine if coffee has been the root cause of my GI issues since it has such an opposite effect on me compared to others.
I never really did get strung out on coffee. I’ve been drinking Mud every morning…and the Mud REST at night. Finally! Found something that I love and loves me back
I weened my late partner from Starbucks Chai Latte at 5.47, 3x a day to Mud twice a day. He loved it, and the ritual of making it. I drop a teaspoonful in my morning Kachava shake
I’ve been generally caffeine free for several years now, and it makes such a big lifestyle difference in terms of your health. This product seems like fancy glorified chai, which still has a bit of caffeine (unless it’s decaf) but no where near the amount of which is in coffee. Definitely a good option for getting off of coffee.
First, id like to say. I LOVE your review on this product. I appreciate all the information you have given. I have been on the fence about buying this. I too, would like to stop drinking coffee as often as I do. I have a bad habit of depending on coffee to keep me focused through out the day and realized that I was getting headaches from not having coffee when I try to cut back. Eventually my body would feel very groggy and my energy levels would feel depleted. Your personal insight allowed me to take a leap of faith an invest into a new routine. I didn't eve notice they had a Night version as well. This is a huge plus seeing coffee deprives me of sleep and I can never get my sleeping routine on track since I depended on coffee so much! I honestly cannot wait to try this product out thanks to you!!
I’m very interested in this product. I really hope you’ll continue making videos on this product with 6mo. , 9 mo. 12mo. updates. I quit caffeine in 2018 after my brother previously had a heart attack , we both grew up drinking Coca- Cola as our main source of hydration. In my 20s I typically had a 5 cup / day coffee habit and was a smoker (1 1/2 packs per day) I’m now nicotine free and caffeine free (both cold turkey) I quit smoking at 31 and I’m now 46. Mud WTR Rest seems like a perfect product and I’m looking forward to giving it a try. :)
Hey just be careful, mud water still has caffeine in it. Only 1/7 the amount in regular coffee but I thought it might be significant to mention in your situation. Wish you the best on your journey.
I have been drinkig MUD water in the afternoons, instead of having a snack. Hubs was told to get off coffee, so I made it for him this morning. He was SKEPTICAL, but he liked it. The add'l beneficial nutrients are a HUGE added boost!
Coffee was causing autoimmune flare-ups for me. I'd kicked it cold turkey but realized waking up at 4 am for work I wasn't focused, had brain fog, and groggy in the mornings at work. I've just ordered MUD before watching your video and I cannot wait to try it for focus and wakefulness without the crash! Thanks, for the video.
@richbabe7836 ,absolutely wonderful stuff! I've since ordered the #MudMatcha because the caffeine content is just a bit more. I have to wake up at 330am to get ready for work and the matcha just wakes me right up and though the caffeine is nothing like coffee, I have steady energy without any crash plus, absolutely no more brain fog! After turning 50 last year, my memory was starting to give me trouble. I've ordered the extra mushroom boost with this month's auto renew order with #MudMatcha! I love it! 5🌟s, sincerely. The price is on the higher side for Mud brand but better tasting, true results, and does what it says with no real coffee included like other brands such as RYZE. I don't like their taste. You don't reap the same benefits because they use real coffee. I'm hooked on MUDWTR-MATCHA & MUSHROOM BOOST! 🍄 🍄 🍄
Great review. I decided to get the MUD/WRT monthly subscription, because I am also interested in seeing if I will have better focus and creativity. I had planned on adding collagen and oat milk like you. Many reviewers have complained of 'earthy' taste, but I think I would enjoy it.
@@mymiracle79 I drink the mud every day now, with the occasional exception for a coffee treat on weekends. I left a comment on his followup video about mud. Even my husband drinks it now, and feels much better physically.
So glad you did this, thank you! To see what others like yourself on the outside really think of the product. I'm couple mins into your video. I've been eating and drinking healthy for years. No GMO's. Consuming sea moss, elderberries, goji berries, bladderwrack etc. I know all the good stuff. But I've been hearing about this Mud Water for a while now and was thinking of trying it. As I hardly have coffee anymore but would still like a healthy substitute!
@@baddriversofthenorcalarea500 How wrong can you be??? GMO literally stands for genetically modified. Meaning it was made in a lab, not made in nature. That crap is NOT compatible with human health. Food has a frequency. Organic foods are between 50-160mhz & super foods from 160-210mhz. Nutri-medicinal superfoods such as sea moss are around 210-320mhz. And ultra processed GMO foods are the LOWEST around 0-5mhz! Basically made to poison us. As it can mess with your energy & vibration! ✌🏼 I hope you stop eating GMO. It will take years off your life. I put my life on that.
i’ve been curious about this product. thanks for the great review. hope to hear how you’ve liked if after 6 months. coffee is a hard one to give up. ☺️
I've been in the process of changing my diet for better and forever. It definitely has its challenges. Can't do dairy, choosing no gluten, etc. I drink 2 cups of coffee in the am, and have felt very dependent on it to start my day. Had just been on MUD / WTR site and before I hit that buy now button, decided to check out some info on it and read some reviews. Can't thank you enough for your insight, super helpful. Enjoyed your presentation and subscribed to your channel. Can't wait to see another video in the future on this product. Super excited to get my MUD WTR too!
I need my cup of coffee in the morning and recently pulled the trigger on MUD/WTR to give it a go. I found that it is way too watery, so I've been adding MCT coconut creamer and a little cacao powder, which has helped a lot. I have seen several similar products on Amazon for way less money. I'm going to try one of these other products when my MUD/WTR runs out.
Don't mind me, just replying here to get notifications when you reply. I'd like to hear about other similar products you find as I'm starting to research this drink but the cost is my biggest hesitation about it.
@@thestreamreader It's not so much the taste but how watery it is and the muddy mess you are left to deal with in the bottom of the cup. Adding the MCT coconut creamer and cacao powder really helps, but I have concluded that this just isn't for me.
Thanks 🌹 😊 for this review. Wanted more information on Mud. You came Up in the "Algorithms". It's been over a month for Me since my decision to give up coffee. Miss it so.🤪. But I needed to work on My sugar intake. That's a beast for me as well. 🤯. I have noticed a difference in my well-being. Drinking caffeinated green tea right now. But thinking about giving it up as well. I needed a substitute. Should have subscribed to "Mud" when it was a little cheaper. But based on Your "Vid" I may still give it a try. Drinking loads of herb teas. Thanks Again.👍.
Glad I could help Pamulah! Yes, sugar and caffeine are tough ones. I found that when I cut the caffeine out, my sugar impulses decreased. I also realized why I liked chocolate...because of the caffeine! But don't give up, you'll get there! Remember, you can also drink Swiss Water Processed Decaf Coffee!
I know a 80 year old man who drives his sail boat, rides tractors, manages a couple rental houses. He had a construction crew when he was younger and had 20 cups a day, He's still in shape and healthy and working. I think it's all just lifestyle and food and reduced sugar.
On cost - one thing to factor in could also be the cost of materials (coffee grinder, french press, whatever else you might use to prepare/brew your coffee) depreciated over a years’ worth of cups or so for starters, or for someone using something like a keurig. Personally, I’m drinking a $14 bottle of cold brew concentrate with 8 servings atm, so it would save me money compared to that, or compared to buying all of the necessities to brew a fresh cup! Thanks for the video - very thorough! Better than the other videos just complaining about the grainy texture.
Thanks Colin and a good point. I tried to keep the cost comparison pretty basic as there are all sorts of variables that could be applied (like what you wrote about). Thanks for watching!
Wowwww! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 thank you for your review, I been thinking about buying and trying it out for a while now but just haven't 🤔 your video is bring it back for me! #GREATVIDEO
Good review. I get my order of MUD today. Currently I’m trying its competitor Ryze, and have to say it’s pretty tasty. I was a pot a day kinda guy and trying to cut coffee out (mainly the caffeine). You should do a comparison between MUD WTR and Ryze.
I love this tea and I just add stevia, coconut milk, and a little extra organic cinnamon and organic cocoa (I like more, not necessary), just whisk it and enjoy!!! Healthy, healthy, healthy drink!!!
I just ordered Mud/Wtr before watching this and I’m excited to try it. I’ve got the same goal. You should review Naked Pea protein I use the vanilla flavor (not much vanilla taste 🤣) but I was on the hunt for a cleaner protein and I love it. The taste is quite… natural 😂 but it’s clean
Great vids. As you age, you will find that caffeine really can affect your deep sleep over time. I gave it up hardcore and have not looked back on coffee.
Very good breakdown. I like the way you explain things. I've been curious about this but I can't decide if it's for me. I'm a sipper so the settling thing might be an issue. I also drink a lot of coffee with no calories added and don't typically get the jitters. The coffee I buy is about $60 a month (with shipping) but it's way more than 30 servings (hubby drinks it too). I think one of the obstacles I see for me (aside from the settling) is the amount of coffee I drink. I drink coffee and water till mid-afternoon and then water and something else caffeine free (it varies)after that. I'm not sure if I could drop to 1-2 cups a day and then just water to make it affordable. I have learned to (sort of like) water but not that much. Still, I may try it for a while at some point. The one thing that confuses me is that everyone keeps saying it has a lot of nutrients but according to the nutrition info, it has a tiny bit of fiber/carbs/fats/protein, some sodium, potassium, and an even tinier bit of iron. It doesn't seem to have many more nutrients than coffee just different nutrients and less caffeine. Sorry for the long comment.
Feeling good. I have gone back to drinking a bit of caffeinated coffee every once in a while, but mostly drinking decaf. I haven't used mudwater for the past few months. Trying to keep my budget in check!
Thanks ebayposhman. I actually recently posted a follow up review the other day if you want to check it out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0TbIJ7MMgtU.html
The only problem with comparing the price of 1 cup coffee to 1 cup Mud/Wtr is that my hubby needs/drinks 2-3 cups of coffee per day and I drink only need/want 1 cup Mud/Wtr, so I feel like pricing it per day is more accurate than pricing per cup cause most people consume way more cups of coffee than others do of Mud/Wtr per day. 🤷🏼♀️ (At least in my case it makes more sense. I understand that won't be the case for everyone, but he drinks is black and buys the high end stuff, grinds his own coffee, does pour overs, etc (ok technically I do it for him 🤣) sooo I guess I just feel like my morning drink, even though it can be more on the expensive side, it's still way cheaper per day than his morning coffee.)
Samantha...totally understand as everybody is different. My experience from going from coffee to MUD\Wtr was that I drank as much MUD\Wtr as I did coffee. Thus MUD\Wtr was way more expensive than even high end coffee for me.
A good review. So, I bought into the mudwtr to replace my morning ritual of decaf coffee . I know decaf in the am? Well I am an athlete who now has AFIB. My cardiologist told me to quit stimulants. So the day after i quit regular coffee...no big deal really. So , now 3 yrs later I have noticed that the decaf just becomes another addiction, and I felt that my morning digestive did not coffee...you know what I mean. So in comes mudwtr and all is good in the am tummy department. i like this product and yes it is expensive...but I'm willing to keep the new habit going. If I don't overthink it, this product is great . I do miss the 3 cups of decaf just for the part of having more stuff to drink through the am...anyway. Cheers.
nycss1985 thanks! I also appreciate your story to get off caffeine. I have had somewhat of a similar experience. I’m a 2 MUD\WTR and 1 or 2 cup decaf drinker now. I did a 3 month follow up to this video if you want to see how I do things now ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JeSIIXu2dz8.html
I can see that slowly happening. For the first time in about 2 years I went to bed at 9:30pm and woke up at 6:30 am. I slept like a rock and I'd like to think phasing out the caffeine had something to do with it!
Ha ha...that's great Go and Love! I figure since they are a smaller company ,it's going to take some time before they can become more efficient with the manufacturing, process so they can bring down the price.
I already have my Walmart mixer that is much better/cooler than the single use expensive wisker, and also doesn't leave sludge, and I dont see a taste advantage from expensive coffees over Walmart's great value ground coffee; so I'm hoping for a Walmart 'great value' for mud. I've already been putting tumeric, VCO and butter in my coffee; make a video showing a DIY mix and I'll give you a like.
As much as Ive not been drinking coffee for a few months now, and I’ve been drinking matcha as an alternative, nothing compares to coffee…in my experience haha
Stephen, i've heard a lot of good things about macha as it has less caffiene than coffee. However, you can get your coffee fix if you get some Swiss Water Processed Decaf. That's what I do.
The difference in the ingredients is the ones listed in bold are the active ingredients that give the awake effects. The ones under the nutrition facts that are extra are there for flavor but provide no benefits
Im not really one to fall for advertising schemes, but I see so many people split on it I want to at least try it out and see what it does instead of coffee.
I would be interesting to hear your results after not drink coffee at all, since you did for 4 of the 5 days. No "caffeine head buzz" you mentioned was nice to hear. 3 cups of coffee a day is not bad in my opinion and I wouldn't call that an addiction. I drink about the same as you, but I do it mainly to wake up in the morning because I go to bed so late that I get very little sleep (not coffee related). I like your review because most seem like they are "paid" reviews and I don't trust them because they just regurgitate the mud/wtr website's claims and then show no real evidence of performance.
Thanks Andrew. After the video I didn't drink coffee for 3 months. Here's my review on that ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0TbIJ7MMgtU.html
@@fireemblemaddict128 Depends on use. Plus I don't have to drink, I feel no need to drink lots of coffee, and the amount I drink varies from 0 to 1, to more depending on what's going on in life at the moment. Family, work, getting up early to take kids to school, and staying up late, or being woken up all affect the amount of coffee needed.
I switched to a beet latte every morning but it didn't last , I did feel something with the increased Nitric Oxide . I tried organo gold back in 2013 but the company seemed like a ponzi scheme . Might have to try this one
legit i get the plain mushroom powder and add it to a protein shake before work outs and yeah it gives me a boost in like 15 minutes eyes wide open i drink my shake 45 minutes prior to the workout before the addition of the shroom powder I did notice a slight energy boost but with the powder it was way stronger in my mind clicking kind of awake feeling plus i switched coffee for a Matcha and yeah feeling loads better
Very good question. I'll have to see what my dentist says when I see him next month. But, I have been drinking decaf coffee, so that would probably contribute to any staining too. I guess brushing your teeth after having some MUD\wtr couldn't hurt.
Joyce...my update is that I switched back to "de-caf" coffee for a while as I thought MUD\wtr was a bit pricey. Now I am drinking two cups of "bulletproof" coffee in the morning (caffeinated coffee), which helps with my fasting. So I switched things up and feel like I'm in a good routine right now. Not sure if you know about "bulletproof coffee", but here's an article on it. www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/323253
Alecia...so far, so good. I don't miss coffee right now, but I do notice myself drinking about 3 cups of MUD\WTR a day, which is the same amount of coffee I was drinking a day.
For the price of that dehydrated mystery mushroom powder, they better make me hallucinate. Otherwise I’ll still to my morning brew which is probably .35/cup.
ive quit several times for a month no coffee no thea no chocolate no coca cola etc completely off iam around 5-8 cups a day drinker of strong black coffees and the first week cold turkey is horrible sleeping 12 hours a day no energy no motivation week 2 feeling a bit better still no motivation energy day 3 severe depressing feelings wanna go to bed right away when iam home from work week 4 is when youre feeling like your old self again every time after 3 weeks i feel pretty good but nothing like on caffeine then after a month i drink 1 cup and sick euphoria haha life is great again energy all day way more happy, not gonna quit forever i like the boost en the feeling i get from it and the taste etc i just quit every year for 1 month just to go from 8 cups and feeling a little bit to then 1 cup and feeling hyped af i dont drink alcohol dont smoke i workout alot coffee is my only little bad thing haha if you just reset your tolarance once a while your fine
I notice that you did a review on Four Sigmatic mushroom coffee about a year ago without a follow up (that I could find). Now that you did a review on Mud/WTR with a follow up just wondered if you could compare the two brands? Also, between the two different reviews did you go back to coffee? Was Four Sigmatic not maintainable long term?
Bellamore, they are not quite a fair comparison as Four Sigmatic has caffeine, and MUD\wtr is caffeine free. I think if I could find another caffeine free product to compare against MUD\wtr, that would be a better review. Also, so you know, yes I went back to drinking caffeinated coffee...but I limit myself to 2 cups a day and feel much better!
Oh, I didn't no mud had a caffeine free blend. When I got mine the booklet said it was about 1/7th the caffeine than coffee but it also says it under q & a's on the website. "A 6g serving of MUD in a 12 oz cup of water you will typically yield around 35mg of caffeine." The Rest blend is caffeine free.
I need a do-over! You have to test it WITHOUT ADDING ANYTHING FIRST! LOL! You added to much to start. How does it taste with none of that stuff you added?
Reality TV, I just tried it with Oat Milk and then with Almond Milk. I did drink it straight and it wasn't bad. I could do it if i had to, but I always prefer a bit of something. Thanks for watching!
Hi Curt, I'm considering switching to Mud Water and was curious on your experience thus far? Are you still off of coffee, and was it worth it? Thank you!
Oliver...good question. Yes, I'm still off "regular" coffee, but I drink "decaf" coffee (Swiss Water Processed). It feels great to be away from the caffeine "addiction" feeling I was having, so yes it was worth it. I haven't bought any MUD\wtr for a while now, but I will probably be ordering some soon. It doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it though. A bag every few months is good for me. I like to switch things up to keep my taste buds interested. I hope that answered your question?
