This is relative. If you are a beginner, getting a proprietary firm account shouldn't be your goal (yet), focus on learning & adopting a tested and proven system. Then you can proceed to getting an evaluation account. However for a trader who has gotten hold of his craft, getting a prop account, why not? Based on that, the bone of contention is that, ensure you understand your trading system before getting a prop account. If the part of knowledge is ignored, be it a personal, prop or even Darwin x platform the results will be the same. If your payouts were denied after following the set rules that would have been a different issue, which in most or all cases it's not 🤷🏽♂️.
I know some people who passed the prop firms test(s) and once they were funded with a real account, they got dropped a week or less than a month later after they started to trade with real money. Now they trade with their own money and for themselves.
well brother thank you so much for your efforts , however i would like to say that the main reason why the most people approach prop firms cause of lack of the capital , i mean who the hell is going to buy a challenge while actually he has a good capital and can make some reasonable profits every month , i see your point sir here but also you need to clarify all the sides the positive one and negative , cause the best solution for those people who they have no capital (after making sure that they are profitable and consistent traders) than they can try with prop firms to collect some capital and pay their bills ,of course not for long term just short term , and again thank you so much for your info and if you saw anything wrong you are free to tell me
You’re absolutely right, they are benefits which suit for the short term, but people these days think getting a prop firm account is where the main deal starts rather than focusing on developing their strategies and mindset before hopping in
I just got one recently, and I'm really disappointed, i feel like I'm caged, always looking at the drawdown every seconds.. I later find out i Trade Synthetics more that Forex, now I'm forced to trade what i really can't. Wished i had funded that into my personal account and trade Indexes
You are putting one month to six months of work in Darwin...how much do you end up managing after 6months...less than 50K You are just capping, and advertising darwin If you really know what you are doing and you manage (2) 200k account of prop firm for 5months with even a 5% return monthly on each...you will have 100k seed capital of your own to trade your live account. Leave all the Darwin shit promised on their site. Come back here when you get to Gold level or Investor level. You just don't have a prop strategy
If you’re all bent thinking about the short term, then Darwinex isn’t for you. Darwinex is a platform where you come and have longterm goals (talking about 1-5yrs with them). Not just all about passing an evaluation and getting payouts immediately to fund your personal account. Look at Darwinex as a college, you take years of hardwork to obtain a degree, and longer years to obtain professional ones and that’s what you need as a trader. If you’re good a trader in space of 5 months you can end up managing up to $500,000 in seed capital. But remember that ain’t the goal. The goal is getting to a point where we could manage large investor funds (millions of dollars) through their technology and building your hedge fund Probably trading prop for a long time has changed the way you look at the trading. Trading Darwinex shouldn’t even be the only account you trade, performance fee gotten from their can be funded into your account along side your Darwinex portfolio. Prop works for people and doesn’t work for a lot of people, which doesn’t make them bad traders. The goal of my channel is to motivate and help my fellow trader’s cause I know the grind isn’t easy. And just as the way i see Darwinex as a platform that will better myself as a trader I’d share it to to other traders.
