I had a 4-5 years break on my channel myself and just came back end of last year to start almost from scratch. I can understand all your points, hope you find your way, all the best. Best wishes for the future. I’m not sure how we discovered your channel but it was a number of years ago that we became aware that the by far and away the channels that best suited our 4WD/camping/travelling interests were mostly in WA. Go figure we live on the Shoalhaven Coast of NSW, Those channels were just down to earth, very little if any hype but instead guys and a few women (eg Wild Touring is one that comes to mind) all of whom just made the different topics so interesting. So thank you to yourself and Jake (so enjoyed the bike ride etc) and the rest who contributed toward your videos.

Alex mate, it's been an absolute pleasure watching your videos over the years. You were the first offroad channel i started watching back in the day and were a big inspiration for me getting into camping and 4wding. I'll miss your uploads but completely understand your reasons for leaving, gotta go with your gut and do what's best for you mate. Always loved watching your trip videos, backyard mechanic episodes and everything in between. All of them I installed in my truck and work very nice in “the reliable grenade” in my off-road adventures. Thank you for share, mentoring and teaching us how to do over landing. In my opinion I always found the random cook ups like on the hikes with 2 minutes noodles and beef jerky😂😂 I loved them. Love the intense unplugged and the group energy. Will greatly miss videos. All the best for the future

I don’t comment on videos much but I have always watched and loved your content and it’s sad to see you go, I too understand the burnout and it’s a roller coaster. But there are positives, I hope this helps you be present when your hot camping enjoying the moments through your own eyes and living meaningful moments round the campfire with loved ones without the lens.

It is hard when your job takes the fun out of what used to be fun, and you are not the only YT personality (and I use that term loosely!) to note the grind and relentlessness of the algorithm. I would love to see more podcasts of people talking about their trips and the history associated. It seems to blend well with your passion. I follow several people internationally that do similar and while they don't have the followers I think it's a growing area as people want to tune out of screen time and can be listened to while driving etc
