This was my first time ever creating a nest in The Isle. I don't think I picked the greatest creature to start with, but honestly? It was well worth it. Follow Pesky's Socials: / theonetruepesky / theonetruepesky / theonetruepesky
I like how he starts so annoyed by the process, then the literal moment he sees a cute miniature version of his deino, his ape brain activates and starts to love it.
@@27Zangle deadass tho. The nine month process of pregnancy is the hugest pain in the ass, and then the baby is born and you see a mini version of yourself. Just so worth it
They keep adding features to Evrima despite it being horrifically imbalanced. That Stego interaction is a perfect example of why I stick to legacy (currently growing a Stego in Hunting Grounds, no regrets)
As a part-time Hypsi father, it can be so annoying when a hatchling asks to be killed, because they prefer the other sex. Like bruh, be satisfied with what you are.
I do miss in evrima the legacy dinos at this point and BIOMES from legacy perhaps it will be just an other map from legacy like islav3 beacos i do not like current map in evrima it makes game very laggy and the varienty of biomes is only 2 opened plains and high density forests and that all on a map that is 2-3 much more bigger than legacy maps. I do like the gameplay of evrima but the varienty and optimalization is just pathetic, i still wait almost years for a small tiny troodon and a duck for this game and im afraid waiting for allo, cera or t rex.
That is the saddest moment ever, fellow deino players, always, ALWAYS run in to help when stego is slapping your comrade. That deino could be you one day.
In order to reuse a nest, you need to break it just once and build it back up (if you only break it once, you should only need one more stick to fix it). Then you can re-lay eggs You do have to hit it a few times to break it, but be careful to not hit it too much or you might break it more than once and therefore need more sticks to repair.
After watching that death I feel like a lot of the bad stegosaurus vs deino match ups come not just from imbalanced stats but the fact that most deinos are to much of cowards to risk letting their animal drop below half hp before bailing on their teammate
It's not really that is just that not everyone has hours and hours of their day to grow a deino just to be killed by a stego who can possibly kill two deino's by itself
@@shaxo5364 any deino that chases a stego onto land kinda earned their death, they evolved to be ambush hunters at the waters edge so they should act like it
Ayoo, i was that stego, you left me with literally 1 hp after our encounter during the night... damn i wated for this vid to come out since i saw your post about you nesting as croc. I hope i dont get hit by a bus tho... thanks
Sticks can spawn in rocks and walls too. I learned this with a friend and we had to move because we couldn’t grab one singular stick to warm our nest. There are so many bugs with nesting and the devs are already working on a new update. Like, bro, I want new content, but polish your old mechanics first lol
Yeah fr, either stego should be removed completely or nerf it. nothing can take it on solo, wayy too unfair and unbalanced. I wish Deino's could drag stegos after the leg, when ambushing, would be soo cool. plus yes the deino's mouth/head is legit 4-5 times bigger than stego's, so should increase headshots. Same with what you said about how Carno's should be able to hunt stegos and also be on it's diet, completely agree. Herbis in general are just wayy too op compared to it's carni counterparts.
I do agree with everything you say but currently evrima is really good and balanced ofc except for stego if they just nerf it so the deino has at least a chanse to kill it and it doesn't have to be two or more than I'd say it's good enough.
It makes no sense that stego is meant to be a glass cannon but can tank hits (and win) from something with a bite force stronger than a rex’s, stego needs to be wayyyy easier to kill
@shaxo5364 Ik, and we knew we were getting apexes when we knew we were getting deino bc deino and rex as well as spino was literally seen in the trailer. 🤣 I'd be happy for it to get a decent buff tbh
It would be cool if they added champsosaurus, it could be a smaller more agile alternative to dieno. Also, it would be cool if you could carry your babies in your mouth as dieno like real alligator mothers.
You say that in islecord and 10 different people are going to scream at you because champso is remotely similar to a sub dieno in gameplay Mind you this is the same community who says iguanodon is just big teno
Nice that you had fun nesting, when I first nested we made 16+ Teno eggs, only 2-3 of the baby's stayed in game and didn't run off, drown themselves or log, have seen the same for every other person nesting and as Carno I just starved
Wow I knew stego was a sh*t show... But holy cricky balls... That was really upsetting. Hope the health on stego gets nerfed... 6000 health very cringe. Anywho pesky would be a great parent :3. Loved the video. And give Bless wishs to your deino!
I've successfully killed stegos with a 2v1 with crocs with the lunge technique. you gotta stay committed and can do it over and over with 3 seconds apart. also block them before they run so they stress out.
Stego was broken as hell he should not be able to solo Deinos I would be glad for stego go to get a Nerf because I would rather see a Deino be OP then a little glass cannon stegosaurus is the definition of a glass cannon. Honestly, I think Deino able to three shots stego if it bites in the head.
If you really put the science into it, The Isle isn't realistic whatsoever, a deino should be able to lunge and drown steg, but they downsized deino from the average 14 tons to 8 tons, carno and deino should both be able to grab stegs head and most likely snap it's neck, but that isn't implemented, even with U6, and a Utah pack should be able to solo a steg but their pounce is useless now as they buffed the stam drain for utahs when a stego bucks.
Suggestion: stego takes 125x damage on the plates, legs, head, tail, and body, stego also takes 25 years to grow. Not to mention stego needs to die immediately after spawning, not to mention stego has a 200% chance to die randomly after every minute And that, my friends is how I got banned from the isles discord
Stego wasn't technically balanced for the game as it is, it was made in mind with the future of the game which sadly does mean stego was always going to be HEAVILY unbalanced when it comes to the game in the state it's currently in. The entire point isn't necessarily to balance the game among the dinos it has now, it's mean to balance when the game has more dinos. Because the moment rex is released, stegos won't be as OP after all. At least, that's what the devs claimed. Mind you I'm simply relaying what they discussed, but it doesn't mean I disagree with you that stego is way too OP hands down. While I do think stego was a very, very poor fit for the game with the roster it has, just kind of is what it is.
If it helps pesky I grew stego with the intention of killing other stegos . I killed one that was getting jumped by Deinos . The stego told me kill my self 😂. I feel you’re pain tho bro .
@@shaxo5364 will do what I do I consider a sacred honor . for the stego mains watching this my steam name is different from my yt account name so LOL .
@@Skeletonman21 bro really ? I haven’t played this game since then . I only tried update six an hated on it an won’t play till cerato gets added . Plus it’s not my fault everyone hates stego players .
@@jacksanity7508 well yeah obviously, it could be also possible that if per say a adulth stego was separated from it's group they could use it as opportunity stego's weren't really all that smart so it could've been a thing.
Ohhh guys listen to this the T rex, you know the thing with 1200 bite dmg in the isle has a bite force IRL of 12 000 psi and that is a fuck load... BUT the Deinosuchus HAS 23 000 OR ALMOST DOUBLE THAT OF THE FUCKING REX... Now does it have double the bite dmg? Nope less then half.🤦♂
Well, consider IRL hatchling alligators and crocodiles that have the potential to reach 15 feet, or even 20 depending on the species of crocodile, fit in the palm of a human's hand. So the tiny deino hatchling makes sense and it's adorable. Also, Z is based for attacking the commie. lol
This is exactly what I've currently complained about when comes to evrima stego is stupidly good like if a fucking deino cannot kill a stego what tf can evrima doesn't have apex and won't for quite a while still and yet might aswell all players become stego cuz is the best and fuck everything like it's BS deino should have something like a 50/50 chanse to kill a stego same with stego on deino if both are 1v1 if there are two stegos vs one deino obviously stego would win it and if there are like in this vid two dinos vs one stego the stego should be dead that's bunch of bs right there.
Wow I knew was a sh*t show... But holy cricky balls... That was really upsetting. Hope the health on stego gets nerfed... 6000 health very cringe. Anywho pesky would be a great parent :3. Loved the video. And give Bless wishs to your deino!
Man... Thst death in the end by the stego... That sucks. Hope you recovered well after that situation. Maybe next time you kill a Stego to get revenge from this day
I have a full grown deino in the isle evrima and I can’t get a group or anyone because NOBODY FREAKING JOINS THE SERVER. There’s 0 people inside but me, I hate it. And the baby deino Is so FUCKING SMOL AND CUTE
2 massive crocodilians getting head shot bites on an animal with a small head multiple times and it lives. That makes 100% perfect sense not nerf worthy at all
Honestly, my issue with stego is that it has no counters, they need to add another mid-tier that is somewhat tailored to the matchup. Allo would be perfect for it since they hunted them and so long as it doesn't steamroll everything else it would knock stego down a peg. I mean I don't think it should be very easy for a carno pack to take on a stego, but I think it should be possible for them. Also, dienos should be able to take on stegos if they can get headshots. The problem is that its hard to balance a creature that can't run away, the power to pick your fights is super useful and that's something the stego doesn't have. So considering future additions to the game im not sure what to do with it, maybe the larger animals with more comparable stats would have a harder time with landing headshots due to lower mobility but not need to rely on them as much due to the higher hp?
