I Rally Raced My VINTAGE Modified Dirt Track Car! - Vice Grip Garage EP92 

I've been taking care of my dad for the past 2 weeks to give my brother and his wife a much needed break from being his caregiver. Unfortunately, my dad's mobility is limited so he just sits in front of the TV most of the day watching the news. Being a new subscriber, and originally from MN (Burnsville to be exact), I played all of your videos for my dad over the past weeks and he loves them. During this episode, he saw the word "Isanti" in the background of the car show segment and exclaimed out, "My mother was born there!" Thanks for brightening an old man's day.

Channels like this are what we all need. So many shows about taking old cars and turning them into half million dollar rides and it gets old. Reviving old cars and just driving them really hits a guys soul. Working class hero!

She's not the fastest, and not the smoothest ride, but hot DAMN does she sound GREAT. A guy really would like to see a perspective from the outside, just mowing grass and sliding all over. I think it should be a Goodwood car, where it looks cool, but its still runs a race or two. I love seeing people still giving old cars the onions and seeing what tech was like when they were in their heyday.

I'm all about this channel! There's lots of shows on here about taking old rides out of barns and fields, but a guy doesn't seem take himself too seriously, and is just a down to earth kind of feller, with 2 boys just like myself. Had my boys out in the driveway turnin wrenches with me last weekend, and making our neighbors hate us. It's what it's all about! 🇺🇸 I like the idea of puttin the old girl back on the road. You can always take a street legal car off-road, but you can't take an off-road car cruisin up the road unless you'd like to support your local law enforcement agency, which I'm all for, because those guys and gals in uniform deserve to have a nice cook-out once in a while. You might as well save those funds for other projects. Keep those videos comin! Thanks

Love your channel. Its inspiring, informative, entertaining and hilarious. I bought a 55 chevy 4400 grain truck a month or 2 ago. Did some tinkering in my free time and gonna attempt to drive it home today. Wife hates me for it. I haven't told her about the 57 suburban coming home in a month or 2... wish me luck.

Derek you absolutely have the very best partner in this race that you can have I remember all of the time that I used to spend with my dad in the things we used to do my dad's been dead for over 20 years and I still remember every minute that I had with him they are cherished members.

I love Main Street car shows. You always see stuff you have never seen before. We have several here on Route 66 that never disappoint.

You really wrestle that beast around the track. Field autocross is great since it's easy to see the course. Thanks for Isanti car show footage! My vote goes to making the car road worthy, clean it up some, and drive it to shows. It's a story machine which is sometimes just as fun as racing it.

Watching this car around the track reminded me of the advice my drum teacher gave me (drumset). You already know what your hands and feet are going to do in the next bar, think ahead to the bar after that. Its looking to me like you're focused on the current turn, where you already see it and know what you're about to do. Your eyes don't seem at all focused on the next leg where your thoughts need to be!

I am in the make it street leagal crew here. As much as I love dirty roundy round. That car already has a great history as a dirt circler. I say let that history be your story for the cruise ins and shows I think that is a fitting legacy for a car that has already given so much. just my .02 keep the vids comin' I will keep watching.

Hanging out at a local VFW is some of the best times i had with my Dad. (Vietnam veteran who passed due to ALS back in 2017). I still hang out at the same one today. Great video and love seeing your family as a part of the fun.

For some reason out of no where's as im watching the end of your video u said im gonna take the wife and kids to the vfw get some appetizers and call it a day or something it hit me like a ton of bricks, u are truly blessed my friend!
