I understood your comment. Some marriages get stale and can get boring. They obviously have a great friendship which is extremely important in a marriage.
Derek admitting that he is just a big kid resonates with me so much because my darling wife of 32 years calls me a 12 year old trapped in a broken old mans body...🤣So remember kids, growing old is inevitable, but growing up is optional !!!!
It's like a "curse word", who defined that it's vulgar. "Being a Kid" who defined that that we can't have "fun" anymore aka be mature. I remember one time me and my good friend, later my brother-in-law and now ex brother-in-law (life is complicated;( "no handbook" as someone once said), anywhosed, we were camping and just having fun being stupid and his wife gave him a rash of S*** about we're adults now and it's time to grow up.....
I'm with both of yall on this. My wife of 22 years swears our 14 year old daughter has 3 times the "maturity" of myself and our 2 sons (21 and 18) combined. Something about we stopped growing up mentally at 13 or some cliche 😅
It's true what they say. Behind every great man there is an even greater woman. I know this to be true. My CEO is called Elizabeth and she has been in control of us for since 1980 when we tied the knot.
Best “Vice Grip Garage” episode ever (even though it is on another channel). You two are the best! Thank you for doing this. Thanks O’Reilly for sponsoring them.
I love that after all these years he still makes her smile and laugh like almost immediately and you know she’s heard it ALL !! But she still laughs and smiles with him. True love !!
@@WadeKoschney-t4p I don't know i you have been in a long term relationship but cracking new jokes everyday for 20+ years is kinda hard you know. When both realize that you get this 'I heard it all before but i love you for it". Besides its better then getting yelled at or beaten up everyday :)
"It's just life. You don't get a handbook. You just have to figure out life as it comes at you" Jessica's answer to the last question is spot on. You guys are the best.
These two are more than blessed... and their love for each other will carry on, all the way til the end. You guys are truly a model couple, showing each other's strengths and bonds amongst your family. I'm happy and proud to follow this amazing family.
You're a brave man, Derek Bieri. It's nice to see a couple that loves each other, but also really genuinely likes each other. People sometimes forget how important the "like" part is in a relationship.
Jessica is a picture of pure love and Derek is very lucky to have her and her love. Its a pure joy to watch the both of you and see the LOVE pour out. You both are so awesome ! Keep up the great LOVE and work ! Keep SMILING !!
Jessica is a nice person and it came out in this interview. I love how she turned it around on you and asked her own questions. She does a great job keeping the VGG brand going, thank you Jessica.
I had a smile almost the whole time. Jessica's smile is contagious and Derek brings out the best in her. Hoping yall have many more year together, that is if Derek doesn't forget their anniversary.
This was easily the most enjoyable of the interviews simply because it was so personal. And dang… I’m not sure I’d do that well interviewing my own wife. Great job, Derek. 👍🏻 😅
The more I see of Jessica the more I know you made the right choice in middle school. And Ive been watching since forever. Like when nobody was doing anything but there was this guy up near the Great White North driving broke down hoopties home many hundred miles....and seeing her appear every now and again when a revival just didnt wanna revive. And she had to bundle up the boys and come rescue the revivalist. I could not imagine a tighter team that so fully enjoys doing what you two do...and simply bringing us along for the ride. There is an old saying that girls who like wrenching on cars are a gift from God. What Jessica puts into VGG is more like god like power. The heavy lifting to ensure a guy gets to be informative, funny and just plain cool. I would say you two are a RU-vid Power Couple. And Im here for it. Oh by the way....there is this show on RU-vid that you dont watch. Its called Vice Grip Garage. You might enjoy it. Guy is pretty funny and he has this beautiful wife who can spin wrenches along side him just as good. Great show....❤
You are a lucky man! Jessica seems like a great down home partner that is behind you 200%. You compliment each other so well. She does a lot to give you the time to pursue your career. I thoroughly enjoy your ability to bring an old abandoned vehicle back to life. Thank both of you for your efforts. Family is everything!
We met the both of you at Iola, and love the both of you. Knowing that Jess runs everything behind the scenes is NOT a surprise, and does a great job. The both of you make a great team
You’re a very lucky man to have a wife and children that share your passion. You two are the proverbial match made in heaven. Hope to see more of Jess in your videos, even if she’s just walking by in the background cleaning up after you.
Jessica is such a classy lady and I think the glue that holds VGG together. Thank you for sharing some of your story with us. I admire this wonderful family and it is so heart warming to see them do things together.
Definitely recorded some time ago but well worth the wait. No lifts in the addition and the “ patina like the truck Longmire we HAD” that Jessica stated were some of the give aways. I literally laughed and thought oh if she only knew, maybe that was Derek’s big anniversary secret.😜
You guys are what I aspire to. Finding a good relationship and a great partner in life is so incredibly difficult. I hope the blessings keep coming for both of you
Best interview yet! What a beautiful couple you two are. It's great to see you two are as genuine as you appear to be n your videos. And obviously still very much in love. Good bless your sweet family Derek and Jessica.
I'm a father of 3 (2 g and a b) a lot older than you and the best part of my life has been being their dad. The best part of your show here is watching you and Jessica parent your boys. Warms my heart. Thanks!❤
Your to see Jessica is one Tripps catching a old vehicles. Yep all Power Tours ,some wrenching . You got to remember Derek's on the move all the time , peak commercials auto PARTS .lol
Well, they're newlyweds. (My wife and I celebrated our 50th anniversary in June.) Delightful people. I appreciate a gentleman with solid family values.
pure gold episode. The honesty of our better halves is what keeps us grounded... and to have a wife who shares your passion is a true gift. love this!!! THANK YOU
You’re a lucky man Mr. Bieri. Been married for 23 years myself, and I can tell ya it’s tough to do BIG anniversaries when you have a young family. Make the date special, but don’t worry too much about booking some extravagant vacation. Now that my kids are mostly grown, me and the better half are planning a big 25th anniversary.
Great for you two to open up like this! As a retired master mechanic (rebuilt everything from lawnmowers to tug boats) - but I find what you do very interesting and fun. Wish I would have had the initiative to do it.
It's interesting that you both really enjoy meeting and getting to know people, and I guess that is true of the people who watch your youtube. Fixing cars can get repetitive, but this was really good fun and enjoyable. Thanks for opening up yourselves.
As a feller who spent life in school, voc prep, trade school and grueling jobs I understand the logistics of the channel, just because you don’t see Jessica i imagine her buried in piles of work, and you stretching yourself so thin and driving sketchy vehicles all the US it all makes me a nervous wreck and that’s what makes it so real/addictive, I’m now retired and it’s like watching the crazy non stop grind I lived and never had time to think about it was lucrative but ludicrous, the channel is a part of my life now 👍PS did you buy the GTO or was this previously filmed? Thanks again Derek and Family.
I really enjoy these interviews but this is by far the best. Derek and Jessica are my favourite couple on RU-vid and VGG is my favourite channel and to see the chemistry and how you both work so well together is fascinating. It is lovely to get to know Jessica more and understand how much work she does behind the scenes for VGG. This was an amazing video - thank you both. Very warmest wishes from across the pond.
Derek you are a very lucky man what a lovely understanding wife you have she seems to do as much as you do what a great couple you are love your channel so nice to see Jessica who keeps you in line 👏👏👏👏👏
This is great - yes I did have so many questions about Jessica. I think I also would love to see an interview with the little human being (your son) - honestly I’m sure there’s more kids but I love how you talk with them. I think I really like the honesty of you two!
you are a very blessed man Derek! Jessica is a very rare find on this earth. Derek, I wish we were neighbors so we could hang out and work on cars, or drink beer, or both. I'm much older, but we enjoy all of the same things. Love all you guys do, and enjoy when you have your sons on your show also. Reminds me of me and my dad.
I'm knocking on the door of 70 years old, and Jessica hit the nail smack on the head. My prime years being a hippy, sex drugs & rock'n'roll, we had the best music ever and the hottest cars ever, and we didn't even know how cool we had it !!! SMH 👍👍
What a great and enjoyable show. A down to earth couple enjoying each other and their lives together. You two are blessed. Thanks for bring good TV to us in such a messed up world right now. Peace and love to you both. Rock on !
This was amazing! I could listen to them reminisce for hours. Thanks for making this happen. They couldn’t do this themselves and edit their life for their viewers. I guess what I am saying as this was the perfect channel for this “self interview “
You two are so down to earth thank you for your show and I grew up in the 60s and 70s and the cars you are right about that too I had 69 Chevelle 73 roadrunner 70 cuda trans ams 304 of71 Mach 1 on and on and on and they were nice cars keep doing what you're doing
I gotta say it.. You two are a great cpl. My wife walked in as I was watchin this episode.. She really likes the 2 of you....and she doesn't like very many folks, she did alotta smiling tho..
Its so awesome that jessica was willing to put her career aside to help you build this business. I bet she see how successful everything was going to be before it happened lol awesome duo!😊
My mom & dad met when they were in the 6th & 8th grade respectively and when they passed away in 2020 within 6 days of each other they had been together for 72 years. I hope that the two of you have the same luck and live a long & fruitful life together. ☮ & ❤ from West Texas.
I love most of the content Derek reminds me of a cousin of mine who passed away in June of this year. Jessica reminds me a lot of my best friend from Jr high all the way thru high school. THANK YALL FOR EVERYTHING YALL DO!!
This episode was awesome.. Love it when you two are interacting with each other. And Jessica is such a bad ass!! To see a couple that has each other’s back is amazing ❤❤❤❤. Happy birthday Jessica 🎂🎉🎊
That was fun and enjoyable. And Jessica thanks for including the photographs that went along with the "interview"! I really appreciated the family photo of you and ALL of your boys.
Y’all are inspiring. Working together must bring some friction but the easy humor between you speaks volumes about your life together. Thanks for your dedication to entertaining content. May your cup of blessings overflow.
