This is how I would buff and nerf every brawler if I were in charge of Balance Changes for the next Brawl Stars update! This is all theoretical, and not to be taken too seriously, but I do think the meta could be improved with a few changes

Here is a interesting idea for Nita, piercing shots can’t go through her bear. That should make the shield aspect work better.

An idea for crow’s slowing toxin star power, for every enemy that is poisoned, the duration of the slow decreases. (1 enemy, 5 seconds; 2 enemies, 4 seconds; 3 enemies, 3 seconds) It would still be really useful in 1v1s, but would be less broken when the full team is poisoned.

@@user-zv4zh4qj6o I guess that’s true, but as kt said it was more for the competitive meta. I wasn’t really considering solo and duo showdown. A way around this could potentially be a cap, so it can’t slow for less than 3 seconds or something like that.

We hope is that p2w players can play more easily. The way to get the gear is changed from level 10 and 11 to 5 and 6 and the max level is as before at 10 when you get stars powers and at level 7 gadgets And for the gadget symbol and stars powers and gear in the battle, it's better to remove it because it interferes with the view, it's better to make a kind of button that when pressed will show all player items, And this only works in 3vs3 in battle royale mode, it still works. And another suggestion for some kind of feature in 3vs3 such as in knockout mode which can see which players die in other modes, such as when our team respawns so we know better when our team will come back to life. and many suggestions such as grass that can reappear and new barriers such as trees which if destroyed will reappear for a long time so that melee brawlers can last until mid game as we know long range brawlers now have super powers that destroy barriers and even their gadgets , in the early game even brawler melee can't do anything but help the opponent fill up his super strength it only strengthens the opponent and if we advance we will be pushed okay 1st gadget from gane, emz and piper lol.

A cool buff for sneaky sneakers that I was thinking of was that when max returns to her original spot after 5 seconds she gains any lost ammo spent in that time. Currently she only gains back lost health and I feel this buff would atleast be very useful in heist and would make it a little more difficult to choose between the two gadgets.

18:15 Chromatic is a term in music. It means to play descending notes on a scale. This applies to the chromatic rarity because their rarity decreases from legendary to epic over the course of multiple seasons edit: I'm not entirely sure of this, but that's just what I learnt (the comments below explain it more)

none of these things is what chromatic mean. Chromatic is an adjective in music that refers to the playing of all 12 notes (most music only use 7). It also mostly applies to the melodic part of music, so you se a lot of "chromatic notes" and "chromatic scale (degrees)" but not "chromatic chords". So a descending chromatic scale would be a descending scale that consists of all twelve notes.

Bruh chromatic means none of these things. In music a chromatic note at its simplest is a note a minor 2nd interval away from another (or one semitone)- ie moving chromatically from an A would be moving to either an A flat (G sharp) or A sharp (B flat). However, I believe in the context of Brawlstars they are referencing the secondary definition of the word: 'relating to or produced by colour'. The background of chromatic brawler pictures is a bright and varied array of colour, and furthermore the characters themselves tend to be colourful and unique so I believe this to be the most likely reason for their use of the term 'chromatic'. For Bea: I would actually swap round when she has the shield and reduce the damage reduction, that way it sees more use as your constantly protected until u have to use your supercharged shot, players already need to be patient with her supercharged shot so i dont think it would make her top of the meta but definitely more usable.

2:20 we've talked about this, if you buff how fast his basics explode then he'll no longer be able to double jump. if his basic explosion speed is buffed then his jump time must also be reduced accordingly.

Dynamike is so fragile that even an unload speed buff can drastically change the mastery of Dyna Jump, which is basically the only reason why people play Dynamike. We really shouldn't tap Dynamike anytime soon

I’m not sure how balanced this would be, but have frank give enemies less super charge when hit. This would make him less of a super battery in general and also mess up some super cycle combos like Shelly, collete, and especially stu. Also I’m surprised this wasn’t mentioned, but now that the resistance gear is gone, give some brawlers’ supers, such as Carl’s, innate cc resistance

I never realized until I read this that frank is the equivalent of roadhog in brawl stars, huge tanks with huge damage and huge health pools that don't talk (not often anyway) that are seen as ultimate charge bots, AND they both have a way to pull enemies toward them

good buffs for edgar: increase health (his current health is way too low) his hard landing star power should be added to edgars base (like what they did for brock) his new star power should be: egositic: if his health gets below 25%, he dosent want to spoil his ego and he reloads faster, his damage and healing also increases i think these changes would really help edgar get to the top again

Also if i were to add a buff i would make hard landing base as you said. Increase range by a whopping 3 or 3.5 tiles then a new star power called- Lets kick: In which for every sucessful attack or damage taken(like ash), a bar charges up. As it charges, increase the range and attack from 0.33 and 90 upto 3(yes edgar having the range of a shelly) and 340 additional damage. For other buffs- I would make healing from each attack a little low like maybe 15% but then base health would be 4600. I would also make the other sp heal additional 35%(rounding upto 50%) but then decrease your base hp or something... also for the gadget hard landing could be nerfed a bit for lik 1250 extra health and then buff the lets fly to charge 950% faster for 6 secs so if you already have a full bar you can jump and continue to recharge maybe for another jump. All of this i would nerf the reload speed from very very fast to very fast. Movement speed to normal and damage dealt i would buff to 1050 for level 11 Thanks 4 reading

Here is my idea for a Colette super rework: when activating her super you can now control where you are going by turning. After her super reached its max. range she automatically goes back on the same path. This way you could use her super around walls and it would be possible to hit multiple enemys that aren't in a straight line. I feel like this rework would make her super more fun to use overall

5:50 also a rework to pocos second gadget would be nice. I’d like to see some kind of assassin counter (mainly mortis) since he is completely powerless against them

Oh yeah and another thing. Instead of just a 10% increase just make it heal 70% of pocos normal attack (for more usage in duos). As well as an increase to reload speed would be nice

Some ideas: Jacky: give her back her shield while using her super but make it like 10% reduction Penny: make her turret shoot a little faster, and have her attack projectiles move faster. I find when I’m using Penny her turret takes forever to shoot, I know it tracks movement but I find it takes too long to shoot in between shots. Shelly: make her dash gadget give her an additional speed boost afterwards Meg: make her second star power apart of her kit or remove it. Cause unless they nerf the shield one, no one will use the explosion if they can have a shield instead.

I actually had an idea for Penny that i dont know why hasnt been made yet. What if supercell makes her attacks splash when hitting walls as well? When you firstly think about it you might believe it wont make a change but in some situations you can actually benefit from it.

I feel like Bonnie shouldn’t have all of her ammo when she goes into melee. When she lands she can burst down most brawlers before anyone can really do anything, hopefully it’s just dev build stuff

That won't work as she does so much damage even with a single ammo that even if she had only single ammo when she lands the damage she does with her landing on someone and her 3 shot burst combined will still take out low health brawlers like Tick, sprout and grom and maybe someone like Surge

Hello people!! So i know that i am making this super late but since i like balance changes and stuff i decided to post this and see what you guys think. Now this list might be a little long but there are some changes that should be made: 1) Shelly really needs a buff. Maybe a faster projectile movement of basic attacks or super would make her a little better at long range. 2) Penny also is quite weak. Now i got a lot of ideas like her attack doing the splash when hitting walls or even gadget buff for her second one as it takes a whole year for the bombs to drop down. 3) Despite the fact that i love spike i think some nerf should be done to him as he is op. Probably damage nerf 4) Now you might disagree with this but its ok. I think that Colettes second starpower should get a buff. My idea was to buff the shield you start off with to make it a little bit more useful. Some reworks possible: 1) Mr.P dealing more damage with the first tick than second. It means that the dmg from first hit would be higher but the one from second hit would deal less dmg. This would make him better at close range and less annoying in long range 2) Jessie's attack can hit an enemy twice similar to Belle 3) Tick's head loses health overtime just like eve's super 4) Poco's second gadget lasts for 7 seconds and transmits the effects to the enemies (if frank tries to stun you he will be stunned himself) THATS ALL (i know this is such a long comment x.x but i thought these changes would be nice)

For poco make his useless gadget be part of the super so it clears all negative effects when u use the super which I think would be cool and replace that useless gadget with a gadget that makes his next attack reduce the amount of hp the enemy has for like 15 seconds. What I mean by this is the enemy could only heal up to a certain point like maybe they could only heal up 92% of their full hp bar.

The Stu nerf is completely unnecessary. It's already somewhat challenging to charge Stu's super in the competitive scene, and a range nerf might just completely render him useless.

I think they should nerf his attack damage and super damage more and buff his movement speed to fast and make his reload speed faster as well. That way stu would be based a lot more on the player's skill than the player's ability to letirally spam everything

5:28 all brawlers with set attack/hp boosts should have them be percentage based on their attack/hp(so this would fix the level issue AND make set number stat boosts stay relevant in showdown)

A new gadget for Bo: His next attack instead of shooting 3 arrows, he will shoot only one arrow which is faster, has longer range and deals a little bit more damage than one regular arrow. and a new star power for Belle: when her super is active on someone, her next super will not deactivate the previous one if it hits another enemy.

I think a good star power for Bea would give her a charging bar like Coiled Snake, whenever this bar is charged, her next super charged shot will slow down an enemy for 1.5 seconds or something. Maybe a bit less depending on how hard this is to balance.

I think an interesting way to change this gadget would be that Sandy slows down (because he's really tired) but heals a lot during the gadgets duration. It might be too op, it might not stand up to his other gadget, there's really no way to know unless something like that got added.

Great video. With regards to Rico, I think instead of fire damage maybe go with electric damage which reduces reload and makes brawlers walk like they are lagging. I think that this would be a really unique ability and makes more sense since he is a robot. My Balance Recommendations: Penny: Remove Splash so that she is not OP in lower trophy modes. Combine her fire star power with her base kit then the new star power is a coin collector. This new star power will make her shots break off into three like Nani's shots. Then rework the second gadget to hoist, launching penny's turret to her and acting like a shield in tough situations. Grom: Add a special trait called scaredy cat, which fits with his whole story and personality. It would cause his shots to fall faster the closer the enemies get to him. This would make him feel more unique and buff him without making him too OP as well as give him his own unique ability above other throwers. Edgar: I think the problem with Edgar is he is too strong in solo modes vs 3v3 modes. So an idea would be a trait called Edgy Aura. This trait will make friendly brawlers around Edgar reload faster when low on health. I think that this will help give him a bit of use in 3v3 modes especially since most Edgars just wait for their super before doing anything. Eve: Change her shooting mechanics to rather shoot one large egg that will then crack into shells dealing reduced damage. The shells should split like a penny's attack but not splash. Only if the actual egg hits does a hatchling spawn and not the shells. Squeak: Decrease radius of normal attack to a bit more than his super attack and increase unload speed. Ruffs: Remove the bottom sand bag so that only two spawn in. Remove the boost that his super gives to himself so that it is more beneficial to give to teammates. Conclusion: I hope that Supercell does something a little more interesting like this with balance changes. I think that traits are a very unutilised ability in the game and could really help bring new life and depth to many brawlers. Thank you for the great video.

I’d like to say some of my own personal ideas for brawlers so here ya go: Spike right now is incredibly annoying to fight even in trophy ranges like 30-40k. His damage is so incredibly strong and the control he provides like Kairos said is bonkers. Whatever they do, supercell needs to look at his damage, unload speed, or projectile range and nerf it. Emz right now is uncontested by close range brawlers and only really struggle on open maps which you should not be playing her on. She has never received a nerf to her base abilities, (I know her gadget received a nerf way back when) so a nerf to her insane damage would be so useful. She starts doing 4k+ damage with one attack if she has a damage gear. Eve: Eve’s second star power just needs some massive nerf. Her projectile speed, damage, unload and reload speed, they’re all fine. But those annoying babies spawned over and over from that star power maybe need a nerf like a small charge bar until a baby spawns. Lastly Sandy: Sandy’s in an iffy place for me, but really him and Emz just kept getting buffs to damage and Sandy is unopposed by close range brawlers unless they literally charge on top of him. One thing I’ve never understood why is why does Sandy have a fast movement speed? Like a sleepy guy throwing sand is the same speed as a Mexican Wrestler? I don’t know about that one. It may be extreme nerfing his movement speed but it’s been done to Amber just to make sense.

@@wobblebs87 Dodging spike shots are harder than you think. I’ve got dodging curveball down to a science but it doesn’t mean I won’t get hit by it from time to time. Banning Emz in PL isn’t my problem it’s also outside of power league same with eve. And a good sandy player can rival almost anyone except the longest ranged brawlers. Even tanks have a hard time with Sandy.

As someone who loves Carl a lot, let me say: I may not be an expert, but i don't think that is the best way to go about it. The super is incredible defensively and taking away it's speed would just make overall worse because he would have a harder time escaping unfavorable matchups, especially if he wanted to use heat ejector for map control over flying hook. Here's how I would buff him: make the speed from powerthrow it's normal projectile speed, to make him more consistent no matter the build, and replace that star power with one that makes Carl immune to stuns, slows and pushes while using the super, similarly to Frank's gadget. This way if one wants to use the super offensively they don't have to worry about emz's, gene's or belle's gadgets, for example. Maybe also buff protective pirouette's damage reduction a bit, to give more options for builds

Here is an idea i actually thought: When Carl's super can be used you press on it and the yellow bar of the super goes down slowly as the time passes but if you press the super button again it would stop. This way the super would last for the same amount of time but if you for example use your super in a situation where you cannot get close to enemies and do sth you can cancel it and lose little progress (if you cancel it after a short period you would have some yellow bar left). This would make Carl more agressive as he would have his super way more often. Not to mention there are plenty of times where half of his super is used for nothing. I think it would be a nice change.

Slow time in Crow's 2nd gadget depends on how many daggers Crow has hit the enemies with 1 dagger :1.5 seconds 2 Daggers :3 seconds 3 daggers :4.5 seconds It would make it worse in showdown and harder to play Crow. Eve :Get her 2nd star power a bar so it doesn't just spawn a hatchling every 3 seconds. Byron :Make the heal to teammates a bit less than the damage to enemies. With this change Byron, Ash and those toxic comps will appear less Leon:Invisiheal to 800 hp gaining Nita :Buff her Bear hp, Nita's unload speed and make the attack don't go through walls (sometimes it does lol) Shelly:Make her main attack shots unloaded closer together

Sneaky sneakers just needs to be changed from a proactive gadget to a reactive gadget. Right now, you need to predict in advance when you're going to benefit from using it, but it would feel so much more reliable if you could use it to immediately warp back a second or two instead of having to risk dying or not getting any value out of it.

I think for mortis instead of making his third Ammo always coiled snake, it just always charges regardless of his ammo count. That way he wouldn’t suffer too much from only spawning with one ammo, but it wouldn’t be too op. Here's my idea for Squeak: rework his 1st gadget completely so that it makes his shots instantly explode for the next 5 seconds, then nerf his second gadget duration to 7.5 seconds. If he becomes too weak by then, buff his reload speed by 5%.

For edgar, I think he should get two things. An increase in attack range just by a bit, and an increase in the speed boost and its duration he gets after using his super. So now his super is more likely to let him actually get near someone and him getting blown back is less of an issue.

I recommend supercell to make a game mode that are used to experiment brawler’s stats so supercell can get more opinion from people and more absurd match can happened. Obviously to make it fair, it shouldnt decrease or increase trophies like the normal gem grab or solo showdown.

for the 3vs3 mode map the map is expanded like siage and on the right side add a robot spawn place which if eliminated will get a some buff to those who kill it, and this is where the real function is for tank brwalers and who brawlers have low range who will win side robots left that will spawn every 70 seconds. and make gameplay objective.

personally i feel like some of the close-range brawlers deserve a buff/rework or a starpower integrated into their mechanics. maybe giving a relatively big health buff (12%) to all tanks (except frank) that struggle to approach brawlers (bull, rosa, el primo) and a small health buff (7%) to tanks that don't struggle as much to approach brawlers. (jacky, darryl) ash and fang are just fine the way they are, and would be fine without a buff imo. tanks hardly even live up to their name tbh. tanks are supposed to be able to withstand a lot of damage. they just get melted by essentially all long range brawlers, so i feel like these buffs would be make tanks feel more fitting in the meta. EXCEPT FRANK! frank has perfect hp for a tank, but he struggles to attack. to fix that, i think frank stopping to attack should be removed entirely and replaced with a low movement speed that lasts for the duration of the attack. on top of that, a small range buff would be fair. just like kairos said.

20:06 Colonel Ruffs should also get some sort of buff with his Air Support Gadget, it's pretty useless because of the meager damage and how easy it is to dodge it. Also, it's hard to use as an area denial weapon because it'll automatic aim at the closest enemy brawler and they might be in a position you don't want your Air Support to hit. My buff suggestion for his Air Support gadget would definitely be the ability to aim it and maybe a damage buff.

An idea for Morris is his longer dash takes longer to load up BUT it is always loading instead of only when he has all three attacks.👍

Unpopular opinion but Eve's second star power should be part of her base kit, and her damage should be way lower with her second star power being replaced with one that decreases the preparation time of her super

Nah the only thing keeping her second star power in check is that the big egg is hard to hit. If you could use both star powers together (big egg comes first _and_ big egg spawns a minion) she’d be even more broken. I want to see her second star power get a charge bar like Sprout and Byron’s star powers, so she only spawns minions every 2-3 shots or so.

A change I would like to see from penny , other than the ones u just listed,is that her attack splashes even when u don’t hit a brawler,like mr p, then her projectile speed major buff, and her last blast star power being replaced with a new one, I came up with one, the brawler that destroys her turret will get guaranteed hit by 4 cannonballs

I think 8-bit has a lot of potential but people can't see it... He has great damage, a strong super and solid gadgets & star powers. He is not picked so much because of his slow movement speed but he is a strong brawler that definitely deserves some attention. But when the community's going to notice that he can be in the meta, I will nerf his damage and the damage increase from his super but I will buff his reload speed. Tell me if I said something wrong or if I have to change something.

A buff for Janet would be her auto aim. Instead of it being the closest possible, make it so it goes as close as the nearest enemy. This would be broken because you could outrun it if you were walking back. Right now her auto aim is so bad and she’s hard to use, the damage isn’t enough.

I have two ideas which I believe would make Brawlstars much more interesting for end game players. Less generalist brawlers - I think brawlers should lean more towards their classes, pushing more players to form better team builds, and allow a more diverse meta. Secondly: I believe there should a new ability in the game called 'Team Combos. ' Specially in 3v3, I think teams should be given special boosts such as a 5% stat increase for using a team with a tank, a damage dealer, and a healer. Or a 5% life steal/speed increase for a team with 3 assassins, etc. I believe this will allow for more fresh playstyles and interesting strategies to be implemented in the game.

I think those effects are good but how about givng both team diffrent and rendom one that will be more suprising with any brawler like one match u had fast 8 bit and in other match you had more hp with 8 bit that will be amaysing

I would like it if Happy Surprise became one of those abilities that have a charge bar, maybe where three hatchlings would spawn (one per each projectile of her Egg Shooter, with proportional health) but only once every 6 seconds or something like that

I have a stupid idea for poco’s protective tunes. Give everyone in the radius a edgar type shield but for 1500 “health” (i like regular shields but edgar’s shield mechanic is too cool not to share)

I think squeak’s first gadget should be removed and replaced with one that makes it so all blombs that are currently out (super or main attack) deal 30% more damage when exploding

One really good nerf Byron can have that I’m surprised people don’t talk about is a range nerf Byron is too versatile and he’s viable in way too many game modes. A range nerf should make him more niche as now he could be outranged by other sniper brawlers. He’d still have his healing abilities, but now he wouldn’t excel in every game mode as now snipers can counter him easier

The problem with that dyna buff is his double jumps with the easier sticks would be a lot harder. I feel like he needs a maximum range buff or a faster explosion at further range.

I saw this from somewhere else but someone suggested just to make Belle's grounded star power make the person reload slower (5% - 15%) the entirity they're marked.

A janet star power replacement that could work in combination with your janet rework: The shorter you stay in the air, the more super you gain back and the more damage you deal (100 at max radius, 1000 at min. radius)

For Janet, I think when you use the super it should decrease super charge from full charge to zero, if you want to land early, just tap the super button again and she should land and deal 500 damage and some knockback, duration should remain same, super should decrease for the amount of time the super is used

Eve’s happy surprise starpower should be with a charge bar like Byron’s injection or Shelly’s bandaid. Idk what the ideal time would be, but that will help. I also saw another comment suggesting to swap gene’s starpower with Grom’s, grom gets damage buff and gene gets movement speed when their supers are charged

Okay, maybe for Sneaky Sneakers she teleports to a spot she was in X seconds ago, instead of teleporting to the spot she used it. Would make it so you could ACTUALLY get out of danger more easily and not die trying or be waiting for the inevitable demise when someone camps your teleport spot.

Ok with Bonnie, Kairos seems to forget that not everyone is going to have the time and money to max her out. A fully maxed out Bonnie in her Malay form deals 1000 damage. I’m not sure what the exact numbers are with the other power levels but it won’t be as op

Here are my ideas for bull and buzz Bull: Make his stomper gadget his base ability ie after using super he can click on super again to stop where he is. The slow can be removed so it's balanced Buzz: Make so that the speed at which he pull himself with super is faster so that brawlers have less time to react and use those gadgets or abilities to cancel or escape.

Maybe for Gene's Spirit slap starpower in addition to having his attacks deal more damage when his super is charged, Maybe enemies that hit walls when pulled will get damaged for 750 per wall.
