So I rebuilt the longboard that is transportable and generated some hype on reddit. Is it worth it ?

To be honest no. It's expensive and doesnt feel as well as the alternatives. I would rather take of the hangers of my pranayama. That would be better.

Thanks for biting the bullet for others. While the parts are probably not what suits you, the general idea is still nice I think! I am riding bracket LDP boards since ages and have been tinkering with what deck would fit hand luggage etc. since a while. Though without the quick release parts. Just pick other brackets, e.g. the black dog if you still have them and like them - and potentially a different deck if you prefer a different flex. Don't give up on the general idea of a portable board! I think it's almost like the infamous saying in photography - the best camera is the one you have with you - and so is your board! Find a combo that fits your likings and make it portable!

You are completely right! The solution comes with the Loaded Zee Brackets. They are stiffer and more suited for a pusher. If I get my hands on some quick changing mechanism, I would most likely be able to build the perfect portable Pusher! Thanks for the comment!

@@skate-horizons I'm a pumper, so I'd go for a fork, but yeah, the principle is the same. So you got rid of your quick release mechanisms already?

@@GermanBadGuy Yeah, this video is 6 months old, you can however get them at ebay-kleinanzeigen for about 130€ and if you have a look at the Skate-Therapy YT channel, there is a european brand that have a similar product!

What made you sell it after all? The comments read as if you were happy in the end after swapping the brackets. Did you have issues with the coating of the deck already? Or is the decay of it just a recent development with the new owner? Thanks!

The setup felt "mushy". The pranayama feels miles better! Thats the main reason why I sold it despite all its strengths. Id rather use normal Zee brackets, maybe they work better with the quick Trucks!

I've been super curious about this setup ever since seeing that Reddit post. Thanks for trying it out and sharing your thoughts on it! Do you still feel this way about the setup? Have you found a configuration that you do like? I can't help but wonder it it would feel better with RKPs and no quick-releases.

Thanks for your comment. I ran it With 150 and 160/(165?) Paris v3 RKPs, but without the quick trucks. It had the same "bad" feeling about it. What worked is changing the Brackets from the Glassdrops to the zee brackets! With 150 Rkps, Zee Brackets and Kegels/Speedvents, the Setup feels great! you can see my second Loaded Fathom review, that would be a better setup!

@@ArrowType unfortunately i aold the quick trucks. They did intrduce a little more flex, but the main issue was the glassdrop. I currently have the bandito with the zee Brackets and gbomb infinity bolts, with a paris t-tool. That Setup is made to fit in a bag!

@@skate-horizons even after some updates like TTA and Poppies? I love my Supersonic and was considering the Bandito for portability, so just wanted to make sure it's not really worth it, from someone who owned both. Tks!

@@erickb4046 Ahh that's what you mean. I think Supersonic vs the Set-up in this video is not even close. I currently run the pantheon complete, with the Lepsk8 Setup. I push more than I pump so the Supersonic still feels more comfortable and stable for me. But you can get it setup pretty good, so I wouldn't worry. If you only have one, getting the other one will be worth it. I own longboards that occupy different niches. If there are two in one, one gets sold. I would have a SS and a bandito;)
