Even after the choke job in the AFC championship (Todd Monken’s fault) Lamar (with even slightly competent play calling) puts a different level of stress on defenses that no one in the history of the NFL has ever done. He has elite arm talent. He’s inarguably a top 10 passer. And he is the single greatest runner from the QB position in the history of football. DIFFERENT GRAVY

First?

Was time to move on from PC. MacDonald was a great hire. Now maybe we will get a good center. Defense needs a lot as we all know. Cap is a problem but workable. Williams at 15M per would be a good deal. Good bye Diggs. Finally good bye Eskridge. Bring in Patrick Queen as he really like MacDonald. Guys around MM is very important for his success. Thank God no in house hires. Bringing in coaches that actually help the team get better. Adams is a question mark. FA then draft are the next important steps. Have more confidence this year. (more so in FA and last 2 drafts have been great). Trade down in first and possibly pick up a 2nd rounder? Go Hawks.

At 33 years old this season: - led the NFL in tackles - made it to his 9th pro bowl - was nominated to the all pro team - became the 3rd player in nfl history to have 12 straight seasons with 100 tackles or more With all he’s done, I’m saying he’s HOF material already. Compare him to other HOF linebackers and you’ll see he’s in the ballpark.

Patrick mahomes is the most overrated for sure. Biggest checkdown and yac merchant in the league, 60% this year, has led for the past few years along with always super high attempts but numbers lower than purdy who has 150 less attempts and fewer yac. Low end air yards per attempt and had the lowest average td length last year (4.3) which shows stat padding for MVP because most teams would just run. Lots of shovel passes and check downs to inflate his stats, overrated system qb who would be slightly above average for most teams

3.4K likes and a LIKE for the Hawks coaching hires. Keep Geno, the best QB deal in the NFL. Fix the trenches.

Seattle was 6-2 when they traded for Leonard Williams btw and were facing tough teams the next 4-5 games so they were trying to keep up with those teams but obviously didn’t go well 😂😂

Yeah, I just wanted to comment right off somebody was arguing with me about Geno Smith the other day and my answer is we don't really know. You know Waldron wasn't the right guy for Russell Wilson I thought that was obvious, but then Gino took the reins and they started running you know all those 13 Personnel Concepts and I went okay they're finally going in the right direction to get on the same page next year. In his play calling sucked. The one thing in the offense that we were short besides the line but I mean in skilled positions was a really good slot guy and we got one and we didn't use them and not only get him and didn't use them so you know then DK can stretch the field, and by the way if you look at the last five or six games freaking DK was working his ass off, but not only did we not use our new slot guide to almost the end of the season we got away from using the tight ends and scheming all that stuff up in layers that look like they were going to the year before. We even had a shity play caller or Geno Smith was making up as he goes and he's a shity quarterback but I don't think that's the problem. And one of his biggest problems which we've had the same problem with offensive coordinator after offensive coordinator which means it's Carol's fault you're not a good team unless you can adjust on the Fly and they would come up with a game plan and stick with it no matter how bad it was. And we should have been in the playoffs again this year with one more win if we'd have just played harder the second to the last game and you can tell they wanted to make the playoffs they were going for it on 4th down and putting it all out there from the beginning and Carol was doing that thing where he only plays hard in the fourth quarter. So maybe Shane Waldron wasn't fully in charge because it just looked like the same play calling that we've had forever. Stay close try and win in the 4th quarter slow the game down whenever you're ahead even if it's only by three points. Angina still had decent stance not great but decent so he had decent stats with bad play calling. I know I'm running on here anyway I was just happy to hear somebody had somewhat the same evaluation of Gino he's not a bad quarterback I think he has probably potential to be in the top 10 with a decent play caller.

Subscribed until I heard your utterly ignorant JJ McCarthy comment. There are several reputable sports writers predicting he could go in the first round. The fact that you and others hate on him because he doesn't have the gaudy statistics many crave at that position is short sighted as he worked in a system that didn't demand much from him because it focuses on the running game instead.

Not even 10 minutes in and he did the most unrealistic thing in the draft by not drafting a QB with the first round pick. Michael Penix Jr was literally right there in prime position for Seattle to draft and you went o-line.

Honestly, in all due respect lol.. I stopped watching after you cut Diggs and NOT Adams.. Adams has YET to play an entire season, What makes you think it'll be different in 2024?! Adams NEEDS to go. He is too much Cap hit with NO progress. At least Diggs stays healthy and makes an impact on this Team. He was the reason we brought Wagner back. Id much rather cut Adams and keep Diggs in my personal opinion...

I think we really only need to dump all 3 TEs and get younger and cheaper at TE, cut Adam’s, cut Diggs, cut Reed, def cut Damien Lewis, cut Phil Haynes. Get two elite offensive guards. I would keep Adam’s if he took a pay cut and restructured in RL.
