Following on from the "I revived ALEXANDER'S EMPIRE in 58 AD!" video, today we look to continue the insane conquests. Starting out with an almost impossible EU4 challenge, we have to take on EU4 Parthia and EU4 Rome in an attempt to win back and form Alexander's Empire. Warscore cost does scale to the size of the nation. Specifically dev, not number of provinces, but it certainly applies to that Rome.

pretty sure warscore costs scales with over extension, ie, 100% ws (if thats all in provinces) is 100% overextension, not including any modifiers to to that,

Bactria actually existed before Alexander the Great. The Greeks in the area, while actually a mix of Greeks from the various regions under Persian control, were mainly from Cyrenaica which is in eastern Libya today. The Bactrians actually heavily resisted Alexander’s conquests, but they inevitably fell and were under the jurisdiction of General Seleucus I who would later reign over it after the empire split up following Alexander’s death. More Greeks did eventually migrate to Bactria during the time of the Seleucid Empire, but the Bactrians you controlled in your video would probably be more likely to burn Macedonia to the ground as revenge for the conquests and subjugations of Alexander rather than view it as their wayward homeland funnily enough.

EU4 should make it requirement to not have lost a war in the last 10 - 20 years to start a golden era. Maybe also no bankruptcy etc. Doesn't make sense to start a golden era, if your country is shit, just because you fulfill the 3 age requirements.

Technically Greece includes Ionia at this time, so you don't need to cross the Aegean to make it to Greece.

i think you should be able to take more provinces not just cos Rome is big but cos its an early date - its not the middle ages & renaissance so everything is less developed.. and empires in those days used to take more land in wars historically

You couldnt release the blue horde because none of the provinces were of the blue horde's primary culture by the look of it. If it states that a province will drift from that country's control, it cannot be released from there. Only when it says something like "it will never lose this province as a core" HOWEVER If you release a vassal, all cores will be released with that vassal, both cores that are a primary culture of the nation (the ones needed to release the vassal to begin with) and those that arent. If you've ever tried to release reconquer lithuania from the commonwealth, you'll know that despite lithuania having like 30 core provinces, you can only release lithuania from around 8 of them.

Laith, get a ceiling fan. They seriously save lives and work very well. You'll still be sweating your balls off, but no heat stroke. Works wonders for me at 47 degrees

If you want to avoid the Drought, Famine and Plague, you would need to limit deving based on terrain/trade centers. For deserts, mountains, steppes and savannas, that have no Center of Trade, dont go above 8 development. If they have a CoT 15 is the cap. For other terrains with no CoT the cap is 15 Other terrain with lvl1 CoT cap is 23 And with lvl2 CoT on good terrain it goes up to 27 without getting dev losing events.

You should do kent, the mod actually get's the culture wrong for the time of the country's existence, it was one of two jutes areas, not an angle or a Saxon, thus not anglo-saxon!

If you have the money, either hire mercs to sot and suppress rebels or have a few regular stacks do the same. It’ll stop all but the most serious rebel issues from rising.
