Found a shirt at a second hand store loaded with sew on crystals. Paid $2 for it. It's a sheer peachy orange color. Not my thing so I will use the many crystals & transfer them to a flannel jacket. Always look at shirts in second hand stores. Can't wait to make this one. Thanks Orly! You've done it again!

The materials you purchased cost you less than $100 which means the jacket that cost $3,800 is outrageously overpriced. Let's double what you paid for your materials and say they cost the manufacturer $200, which I doubt because since they buy in bulk they probably actually paid LESS than what you paid. Now let's say the worker who made the jacket was paid $100 for his work. Which again I doubt because I think the workers who created this were paid significantly less than $100 but let's grant that they were paid $100. Heck, let's even say they were paid double that amount. So if the materials cost $200 and the workers were paid $200 that is a profit for the manufacturer of over three thousand dollars per jacket. Sorry, but in my book that is outrageous considering the fact that it basically is just a flannel jacket. Your version of this was as pretty as the expensive one and I think yours cost about what the jacket is worth! I watched you make a knock off of Louboutin rainbow shoes and Louboutin cost $795 and the one you made cost $35 and it would have been difficult for me to tell the difference if I just saw someone wearing them somewhere. Does it occur to you that probably all the people who put out designer duds and charge the earth for them probably don't like you very much? You show people how to get almost the same thing for a fraction of the cost! Good job, Orly!

You should bleach the flannel and make and ombré design so the tops lighter and the bottom darker and add the stones

Next thing she walks out wearing a bedazzled shirt and/or jacket, he just shakes his head... I think this is one I can have a go at, it'll be reasonably cheap to get the supplies for, and the rest is "artistic interpretation"... **Lumber jacket is what used to call this similar style quilted jacket when I was growing up, back in the 70's... ;)

Watching the video I thought about this plaid shirt with rhinestones on its shoulders I once had. Looking at the shirt now I need more rhinestones... 😂 Sadly I don't wear it that often anymore because it's too small and restricting around my shoulders. Does anyone have a creative idea how to change that? The only idea I can think of is cutting it open at the back and lacing it up 🤔

COST HACK, If you can't swing the $70+ dollars on all those crystals, the original MIU MIU has some 2 mm clear tube beads, 1.5mm clear beads & Clear paillettes (clear circles with a hole for thread) that are mixed in. Giving the illusion of more crystals without the price tag. I think I'm going to add in some silver caviar balls too. I'm so excited, I have the perfect flannel jacket for this!

I've noticed that when you glue things on shirts you don't mention putting something in between the front and back so it doesn't seep through. With the jacket it's thick enough but I wonder if this has never happened to you?
