It's because so called "fans" have disturbed her a lot of times, for example throwing a pizza on the roof, that's why there's a fence, she wasn't always like this.
At first I thought it's kinda entitled to think "she should just move if she hates people showing up like that," but then I realized that house could probably sell for way more than it would be worth ordinarily. It's insane to think that she'd rather live there in anger than just move.
I think she actually just enjoys it. I live in ABQ and every time I've gone by, every time anyone I know has gone by, she is outside yelling at people. She could sit inside and ignore them, they have a fence up and everything, but instead she sits outside and yells at people all day.
What is disgusting is that she could sell that house for more than it should be worth in a flash and move to somewhere actually peaceful and have a better home. So the way she is acting is basically is what she lives for. She chooses that lifestyle. "It is mom's house" is BS. It comes with baggage and she knew it and chose to move in. She's a terrible person. That doesn't mean some people have overstepped acceptable behavior in regards to her property, but if she is so upset by people who visit she could resolve that immediately...by leaving. That's how the rest of us have to do it when we have cruddy neighbors or bad situations we don't like.
I still cant believe that the lady who owns the breaking bad house sits outside all day every day to yell at people who walk past... There are SO many clips of her cursing and saying the most vial things to people who simply drive past.
It was the current owner’s mom. She, unfortunately, passed away a couple of years and ago, and now the daughter is the owner, and she’s the ultimate Karen.
@@manusiaorang2842 Cranston, Giancarlo Esposito and Bob Odenkirk started acting in the 80's. Aaron Paul in 1999. So yeah, most of the cast on the show had been acting for over 10 years when the it started.
if I owned the house that Walter White had I would happily let fans of the show come in and see it IRL. Hell I could even charge them $5 a person to come on in and tour the house and look at all the different rooms and recreate their favorite scenes.
That’s what a good person would do SHE would be like NO I WONT LET YOU TAKE A PICTURE OF MY HOUSE WHICH IS A VERY POPULAR PLACE AND AND FROM A POPULAR SHOW MEH imagine if you moved into the neighborhood and wanted to see your new neighbors and you walk up to the house and she says “ILL CALL THE COPS GET THE FUCK OUT”
Well I would charge a lot more for that. People are crazy nowadays. You let someone near it, they'll try to destroy or take something. Can't do that. I would charge people to come up closer to the house. But that's it. And it wouldn't be 5 dollars. More like 50 or 100
I would love for you to make a series of this. Visiting famous iconic TV and movie locations and recreating the scenes. I'd watch the shit out of that! Fantastic video JHB. Matt wasn't wrong when he spotted the talent in you and took you on at 100 Thieves
As someone who lives in Albuquerque it was very cool to see recreations of the clips from the show. This seems like something me and my friends would do and I love it
I'm trying to take the scenes that you and Ricky do seriously.....and it's very easy to seeing as Ricky looks like Todd Alquist (Jesse Plemons) from the show lol Loved this and I hope you all continue content like this!
It’s so wild seeing every other filming location proud to be apart of the show and let fans visit, because in reality it’s going to be no more than a handful of people a day so it won’t get in the way of their lives too much. But the lady who own Walter whites house won’t even let anyone drive down the damn road.
lol I live in Albuquerque and almost every single day I think of Breaking Bad at least once. It's good to see tourism raising because of an awesome tv show! It's also awesome seeing everything I know on tv. You look more like Saul than any other character from the show too.
8:12 it actually just froze over. It's quite common where I live. At night it gets so cold, that a very thin layer of ice just appears on almost everything.
I wonder how many times a month Albuquerque PD has to remind the lady at the house that sidewalks are public and she can’t control the whole neighborhood because she lives in the Breaking Bad house.
Exactly!! They could’ve gotten closer and taken a picture of the house, even with that Karen’s threats of calling the cops. I live in Albuquerque and have not been to that house, but I might pay a visit soon and take a pic from the street. I won’t give a crap if she threatens to call the cops…
honestly it's a really nice house, inside and out, but honestly, just move, it's too much of a hassle to have to yell at people, call the cops, sit outside, and have your house be taken pictures of
Just as a tip when your showing the scene you shot instead of adding the bloopers into the scene maybe just leave it at the end and label them bloopers
She didn't move in, her family has lived there for decades. She agreed to let them film there for 6 years, probably didn't expect the show to blow up like it did and prob got a good amount of money letting them use it.
@@enellive honestly surprised she hasn't sold the house. I imagine they could sell it way overpriced with it being that house and just move anywhere else in town. But I get it
It's low key sad that I can't watch breaking bad for the first time again. Anyone got any recommendations for any shows that are up there with breaking bad???
here's my thing at 5:30. Why would she yell at someone who is standing on PUBLIC sidewalk. If you are that aggravated with how much attention your house gets, sell it. She could probably make 5-10mil off that house that likely used to only cost 200k if that. Not to mention, houses near her also probably could go for a nice chunk for being even near the breaking bad house. It seems she lives off of negative energy. Just a Karen who WANTS people to annoy her so she can have a reason to complain and be mad.
I broke out laughing every time they broke out laughing. Those were the best parts. How often does that happen with friends or loved ones? Not often enough.
I really don't understand why the woman living in the breaking bad house doesn't just sell it for a shit ton of money and move somewhere where she isn't harrassed. Someone would definately pay fat stacks to own that house
Big breaking bad fan from LA as well, and this brought me a lot of joy. You guys bursting into laughter when filming the scenes shows how much fun you had making this Thanks for sharing with us!
That woman that owns Walter's house calls the cops on everybody! She said she called the cops on me too, but I'm sure she didn't. Even if she did, I'm sure the Albuquerque police are tired of it...
APD says she calls them hundreds of times each year, nearly on a daily basis. Its to the point where, her neighbors are literally moving out because shes so annoying. It doesnt even make sense to keep living there. She could earn literally tens of millions if she auctioned the house. I have no earthly idea why she choose to sit there, every day, screaming at people for looking at a house, being miserable, and wasting police time and resources instead of moving out and living in a LITERAL MANSION... Shes addicted to confrontation or something i swear to god
"Fran added that there are far too many memories in their home - reportedly worth upwards of $200,000-$300,000 after an initial plummet - to ever sell, despite the massive fandom it attracts." They've lived in the house since the 73'! I can understand why she is sentimental. Her husband also died in 2020 and she has been dealing with BB fans for almost a decade now, some bad actors. Although I don't agree with her sitting outside and yelling at people all day, maybe that's all she CAN do, to give her worth. To protect the memories of the house maybe and her late husband.
Someone who actually will enjoy the fans deserves to have that house. It’s not fair you can’t even get on that street without her screaming like a 3Yo. Unbelievable.
Yeah, her screaming makes me want to walk down that road while she's outside and pretend not to know anything about breaking bad just to embarrass her lmao
Imagine being just a regular average joe walkin' down the street to who knows where, work, whatever, who has never watched breaking bad, just gettin' cursed and cussed out for no reason.
It’s honestly pathetic having that lady there. I understand she’s probably bothered by some people who don’t have the best intentions, but she will immediately throw the most racist comments @ people who are literally just driving by trying to get a picture.
That lady in the Walter White house doesn't have any legal right to stop people from taking pictures as long as they stay on public areas like the sidewalk and off of her actual property. The police are just going to ignore her.
that lady clearly hasnt watched better call saul, you have the right to film or photograph anything from the public. first amendment. also why does she still want to live there after years of people liking the show showing up, what a scrooge
I choose to believe that the lady that owns the breaking bad house is always so grumpy towards visitors, is because she is actually skyler all these years later, very bitter and not wanting to remember the whole ordeal.
If I owned that house, I'd charge people for tours. Also, I kinda sympathize with the owner of that house. I mean, she is unnecessarily bitchy, but I can see 10+ years of getting bothered by fans turning someone into that
One of the best videos I’ve seen in a while! Great story telling! Love the dynamic between your friends! I can tell you put a lot of work into this! Excited to see what you come up with in the future!
So either she lived in the house before BB started, and she got a big payment for them to use her house for filming and knew it would become a tourist attraction, OR she moved there after BB knowing full well that it was already a tourist attraction, either way she's got absolutely no ground to be as defensive and horrible about people wanting to see the house from the show, even more so in this video where she has Christmas decorations up, if she doesn't want people looking at her house why does she have Christmas decorations up 🤔
