One of my favourite youtubers animating one of my favourite shows??? While watching this video, I'm drawing and it has become 100x more enjoyable. There is not a single second of this that's boring! I love this!!
I was struggling trying to find some background video as I'm working on scripts, You are helping me get through this grueling process with your fun personality XD
Hi Man , Animator here to answer your question about how to animate 2 things in contact easier ( though you might spend a few hours learning how to set it up properly as well) The idea is as follows: - You create an empty object - If your arm is in IK you parent the arm to the empty object / if your arm is in FK you parent the empty object to the arm - Next (and this is very important) you need to parent the enemy to the empty object it is important that YOU CHOSE TO PARENT THE CONTROL WITH THE BEST INFLUENCE on the enemy character --- Ex: if you only parent the head it will look wonky , maybe the torso is a better option here I hope I was able to help , if you need any more clarification feel free to contact me
I really love this new direction you're taking the channel in! I enjoyed your earlier stuff too of course, but it's really fun seeing you learn stuff. Also the microphone constantly peaking will never not be funny to me lol Also! I found using either the Rotate or Transform tool in the left toolbar (shown by pressing T) is super helpful because then you can click and drag instead of guessing which axis is what
I love how at 16:47 in the video he stops he progress to give a recipe. Genuine Content. Keep up your good content filled work! Plus these animations when done frame by frame are helping me with my drawn animations, so thank you by showing the poses frame by frame.
33:14 oh that's a lot of steps xD you can just use append or even better just copy-paste pretty much everything between blend files btw even whole armatures and entire collections
Stumbled upon one of your videos, now I can't stop watching due to how friendly and inviting the atmosphere you bring. Keep up the good work, fellow artist
This is sick af, love to see the progress. Since you referenced the All Might v Nomu fight, think you could try animating the United States of Smash? With the tornado generated and blocks flying around following the punch would be so sick.
Hey, I’m new to your channel. And I too have started learning blender and unreal engine. I love your long form content, it is great to watch and listen to. I enjoy watching the journey you are on, as it inspires me to learn more myself. Keep up the good work and the great attitude.
I really want to see Vegeta going Super Saiyan Blue evolved, would be really cool to see you play with lighting. Especially if you add a super cool milk pail. Keep up the cool stuff dude, really glad you're dabbling with blender, it's my 3d program of choice and I have a lot of fun using it. see you next month.
YES. i loved your demon slayer video and now youre doing arcane??? my favourite show?? and specifically my favourite scene?? hell yeah i already now this is gonna be great
loved this video, inspires me to continue doing more animations Also, one of vegeta's moments (final flash against cell or final explosion against buu) "Milk Pail"
An animated moment that has stuck with me for years is when Todoroki and Deku fight in the early seasons of mha, in some sort of school tournament arch I think. It's a massive work load but I figured I'd throw it out there anyway lol. I'm thinking of when he does this massive ice and fire move and it explodes the arena into broken up cubes?? Milk Pail
For the challenge: Sine you asked for a short on do a complex jump and spin kind of animation like the ones in genshin or find one that has even more movement in just that small jump and spin MILK PAIL
Great video. I'm trying to follow your two hours a day thing (or any time a day thing) in Unreal and its been great! I feel like its starting to click more
for animation to look more lively i suggest stretching and snapping your characters and it makes it look real cool also one of the basics of animation, also videos are always fye
Really like these one hour long videos, it’s good for watching when I work on animations Also as a general tip for animation, once you create your pose, exaggerate all of the angles that each limb is at, this will make the animation feel a lot less stiff
What helped me alot with animation was mimicking the character's movement while I was animating and thinking about how my whole body moved, especially how I would shift my weight
Once again a very entertaining chill video. The 'last' shot of him hitting the ground is so so cool. My only real critic would be the start of the animation. Not necessarily the animation itself but rather the starting point. It is just a bit abrupt. As a short but interesting animation could be a hell flare from tensura. Oh and also - Milk Pail.
Your animations are awesome! Honestly, I have been wanting to get into animations and VFX for a while, and your videos are motivating me to just hop on blender and try stuff. Also, I like how you show how much of a struggle it is sometimes.
44:35 I know it isn't an animated cartoon, but you could try some of the TVS Thomas the Tank Engine characters, since the online modelling community for it is huge and I feel like you could have a lot of fun with it. Regardless, I really look forward to you next project if it does include 90's anime and it's a joy watching you grow as I'm about to start on my animating journey, too. Amazing job as always, and keep being awesome! :D
Dude seeing you progress makes me feel so damn good. I was gonna ask can you do anything from avatar the last air bender? Milk pan? I think that’s what you said 😂
Maybe make a simple animation but overly dramatic. For example, when she tries to open a cookie jar, she struggles so much she becomes a super saiyan, the earth starts to quake, and the wind starts to become a hurricane. Also add some facial animations, that will be cool :). Milk Pail
Maybe it might be simple, but idk i don't know anything about animation: that scene from spirited away where the coal things let go of a piece of coal and lets it flatten them. "milk pale" btw
i love how this literally feels like a video and a tuorial at the same time, i geniunly feel like i could follow along with it lol (ik i couldnt, iv tried) And i havent watched the whole video yet so idk if you even asked for recommendations but i feel like youd enjoy a harry potter inspired dual, thered still be some animation but mostly VFX. and finally, SMASH edit: You should check out destruction sims un ue5 ( think thats what there called) you could also use that in a harry potter scene and it would give you a reason to actually make a surrounding lol
To understand more about the curves and what they do, I recommend doing at least 1 tutorial on rigging. Cuz they teach you what they’re rigging and the purpose of each controls. Helped me a lot. Edit: I heard u learnt a bit of rigging later in the vid 😂
i have never used blender but suddenly i want to. btw have you watch blue lock? i think that the scene of Isagi's Direct Shot would be AMAZING by you, milk pail:D
You should try taking a live action movie scene and "stylized station" it. Something not too crazy such as the hellboy 2004 scene where he pulls out the good Samaritan towards the camera. You could add a bunch of stylized things. I dont know man I just milk pail.
1:04:31 if you change the phase of one of the noise modifiers, you can get the camera shake to go in all directions instead of just diagonal! (that is, if the diagonal camera shake isn't intentional. Totally could be the case that you figured this out already and it was just by chance that it was still diagonal)
Smash... Good video tho! Is there background lore on this character? Do you plan to make a videogame with her at some point? I'm curious to see what your own goals are as well, with all this~
Curious, why choose to animate in Blender instead of directly in Unreal? If you explained it and I feel shame for not watching the 1:18:36 in the last five minutes since it went public I apologize and will promise to feel shame. Either way keep up the great work!
Obviously I can’t answer it for him, but in my opinion Blender is just better. Animation is a key feature of Blender that has been in development for AGES. While animation tools in unreal have definitely gotten better, they still don’t beat Blender.
