Singer Sonu Nigam says that he refuses offers from movie makers if they ask him to sing songs with lyrics that are below standard or containing offensive words. 'Even AR Rahman was asked to compose a very ridiculous song for the film Robot and he took up the offer. I had suggested that he, being an Oscar awardee, should not be doing such songs', he says. (Audio in Hindi)

I was not born in era of Md.Rafi Koshor da, Mannade sahab.... But when I born... after that a singer came into bollywood . THE SONU NIGAM... I can say that I was born in the era of Sonu Nigam. Sonu is my alltime fav singer.

@@pk-dx6sf buddy, every artist has their time. Sonu's time has been passed now its arijit's time. And that wat i have written in my comment, that in the time of arijit singh, sonu nigam is still the best singer around. And u r talking about riyaaz, he still does that n that too 4-5 hrs in a day.

He sounds like such a humble person, well grounded. His versatility as a singer and a musician is simply amazing. God gifted, and if there's anyone I like most after Mohd. Rafi Saab, its Sonu. Paka Sur with melody that hits the heart, not some very crazy high decibal notes just to prove a point.

Sonu u r a lovely person. I had a odia song recorded in your voice .n that day I could make out that. U never left the song , unless u were satisfied.That showed how dedicated u were to your profession. Apart from that u r a good human.keep it always, as that's your real asset.

It is a problem with bollywood industry that music is not given value like acting. Actors go and disrespect whoever musician they want and people also are mad for actors and not brilliant composers, lyricists and singers.
