I used to be one of those “naturalistas” that was against perms/relaxers/chemicals but....
The only constant in life is change so when I feel change creeping up I snatch it up real quick cause life can get real boring if you keep yourself in a box, ya know?
This is not me killing my hair
Not me saying I don’t like natural hair anymore
Not me saying that I don’t want my curls back
It’s just me accepting a change.

😉PS. my grandmother was the first BLACK woman to open a hair salon in my hometown. so my mother (the one that put the relaxer in my hair and washed it out for me) basically grew up in a hair salon.
