Bw seek white validation so much yall live yall whole life off what people with dog hair thinks that’s why they are all getting locs now while yall trying to pay for there hair smh shame us black men love our hair
Society tells every black woman at some point that her hair (in it’s natural state) is not enough. I didn’t say that someone told me I don’t have “good hair”. To me, there is no such thing as good hair. Yes, I love my hair. I wish more black women got the chance to love their hair the way it is.
You look Beautiful! Your hair is Fabulous! Period. I feel for the woman you spoke of who claimed she doesn't have 'good hair'. May she find peace and joy with her hair. May we all find appreciation for the hair we have been given. Gratefully, I have come to love my kinky, coarse, soft hair. I've leaned to let it run free. The compliments I get don't hurt either. Smiley Face..
i Love this conversation! I’ve always wanted to do a podcast just to talk about so much things ! including this topic Can I add an opinion? this is just my thought ! and how I feel and what I see & experience. Some may think other wise some may see it in a different light but again this is ME ! .. Growing Up i have realized that most of us African Americans (me included which is why I can admit this) We Failed to catch the wave where we accept our hair as it is. Not sure who started the trend of wearing hair that doesn’t even match our texture, so bad where we have to kill it with so much chemicals and heat and etc just to match a certain curl pattern or texture that is store brought from another ethnicity’s scalp THAT COST HUNDREDS may I add ! & doing this Has condition us to look in the mirror and see our natural hair and think to ourselves “ this is wrong” but doing our hair with wigs and lace fronts and leave out side parts are considered “ right” ! so much black women are conditioned to see there real hair and hate it ! so they damage it or maybe even cut it ! just to cover it with another persons hair or pattern that has nothing to do with our hair growth pattern! … and May I add that I have yet to see OUR black natural women hair texture being sold for the same amount other ethnicities are. ALSO ! …. We are CONDITIONED! to judge other beautiful black women natural hair and think it’s “ugly” or even using how people wear there hair as a way to know how financially wealthy they are.. not seeing a women with Several hundred dollar hair or hairstyles conditions them to think you can’t afford it as to just thinking you simply don’t want it ! , to look at your own kind ! You own sister ! Your own color JUDGE YOU as if society doesn’t do it enough ? is crazy ! … I’d love to Touch topic on what you said about the video of the white man telling black women he love our hair … That a whole other topic I’d LOVEEE to touch on ! I just don’t think many people are ready for that 🤣 and my comment is probably long enough ! ❤
Girl, yes you said a lot! A lot that needs to be said! It definitely is a bunch of conditioning! I might talk about some things you said in some future videos. But thank you for sharing your feelings!!🥰
I love my black women from light ,Mid, Dark shade WEAR the natural however short, mid, long.A beautiful crown no matter. Black KINGS still be out here appreciating the looks. Not all of us degrade and hate our women. I hope the pain in your heart can be healed. I feel the pain in your voice society, even our own people at times will hate.
I love your locs❤❤i do believe using water only on your locs as the styling product is the best way and is why uour locs are do fluffy; they aren't weighed down with butters/gels. This is yhe way i plan on maintaining my locs this second round. I started July 4th 🎉🎉 Your locs ma'am are an inspiration. Love the channel 😊
My re-twist lasted until I washed my hair again. I don't know what you do, but if you are spraying your hair with water or moisturizer in between washes or not putting on a shower cap when taking a shower, that will cause your roots to unravel/revert and not last long.
This is so cool. I’m so not a permanent ANYTHING type of person. But I love the way locs offer versatility and convenience. I can see myself getting some and then a texlax and then back to my fro. All that seemed unconventional until I saw your last vid. What a vibe! Freedom from any guise of a box.
Girl you and i are hair twins i will cut it off in a min I currently have some chunky locks for about 6 months. Either way your hair is gorgeous. Also can you tell me who that sample was from I can’t get it out of my head..
