if u wanted to download that one track from my video, here it is soundsfromsci.... you can use these in your own video essays too, if you want! not much else to say. thanks for listening!
I had a demoscener tell me that "building a cube" sounds like it could be released on kahvi, which was super flattering! my influences shine through sometimes :P
genuinely thought it was just obscure stock music, pleasantly surprised also the bluescreen one feels like bitcrushed Portal 2 OST and it just scratches my brain in a good way
*clicking randomly through them* "Oh wow! These are lovely atmospheric!" *clicks on glitch ur blues (screen of death)* ( ͡⊙ ͜ʖ ͡⊙) ( ͡◉ ͜ʖ ͡◉) We've struck gold.
ok, well, it's free unless 1,292 people download it in the next 3 weeks, at which point bandcamp forces me to set it to $1. so... act now? or become a pirate? lol
@@GSTChannelVEVO Wait, what? You set up an album as pay-what-you-want, and if enough people download it by paying $0 in a short span of time, Bandcamp forces you to literally ditch the "pay-what-you-want" concept that made them popular to begin with? When did this start happening? Asking because I had an artist account there and eventually left because of Epic buying them and because they never listened to my asking for supporting crypto and/or Brazilian payment methods. If it weren't for those two things I would consider going back, but now we have this.
Neat! 01 About Hands is a catchy tune which immediately makes me daydream of a lost mission in Goldeneye64. 02 Vbeatt is the cool, base-driven synth tune used in this video. I like it quite a bit. 03 Back in the Shop is super funky and casual. 04 lives up to its name: Lofi Scihop indeed. -Sounds like when someone's 'in the zone'. 05 Flower Show starts soft and warm with some great deep low ends. Evolves into Gerudo Valley-like bongoing. 06 Building a Cube starts driven, minor key, reminiscent of Aperture Science, turns into a neat background beat. 07 Pure Energy is great Low Fi and chill energy. 08 Chill Summer Day is somber and atmospheric. 09 Plinky Drum Mchine (sic) Ambience speaks of productivity. 10 Otakus is pure mellow functionality. 11 Potion Perusal evokes that early 8bit feeling. Someone likes the NES! 12 Polyspinning Loop. Hard to fathom. Lazy Chaos denoting confusion? 13 Haze for Night is slow, serious and atmospheric with effects evocative of gusts of wind. 14 Retrodely Jam is synthy, heavy and moves at a deliberate pace. Like large old machines in a cyberpunk city. 15 & 16 Vectorsynthesis and Luschcord Stinger... "And now our feature presentation!" 17 Spaceeeeeeed (Space seed)? Is filled with wonder and comes to a moment evocative of discovery in the middle. 19 Glitch Ur Blues sounds like Mr. Game & Watch went out on a wild bender. 20 Beep for a Boop is cute internet cats made into a melody! MEOW! Enjoyable. Worth moneys. Keep it up!
well, this is my personal bandcamp! you can think of it as promoting the guy in the GST music department. :P I suspect that most people would grab this particular album and leave.
