Good to know there are others. I watch this film every year, or when I simply feel the need for a story well told. The OST (especially this song) always makes me want to write stories of my own. 😁
During the movie's release, everywhere I went, I always kept seeing this movie or hear people talk about it. Even see toys everywhere. Then I was like "damn, this movie must be that good." But never watched it. Until last night on 12-13-19. I was amazed how the Prince of Persia was a cool, adventurous, exciting movie. Every bit of the movie is cool. And now, I'm like, "Man, I wish I watched the movie while it was hot." If you did not watch this movie, you should, it's champ. Damn the critics for saying no for sequels. Plus the song is perfect for the movie.

She captured the very essence of the movie and ambience in song and the Tamina's bio in lyrics. It was like she singing to Dastan. I even confused with some chords from Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and The Flame.
Reading up on early imperial Persian history, I believe the plot of Prince Of Persia is based on the life of Emperor Artaxerxes I. It makes it all the more interesting to learn that the movie is inspired by a real-life royal action drama.

Umm. Actually it based on Persian tune and songs :) the music in Iran is very better now , but the pronunciation is Persian Pronunciation .(but in first 1 min) it shows that the musician researched about Persian music

Great song, AWESOME film, great game as well. The movie story worked better for film. The game story was great as well but It's not difficult to see why the movie wouldn't follow the games storyline precisely. No movie really could but that doesn't mean the film wasn't fantastic. I wouldn't mind seeing a sequel.
