I lot of mistakes near the, Andrea should have used her rook more and then near the end when she has one (or maybe two) passing pawn if she would just move the king and bishop and leave the rook stopping the king. She blunders her rook again !!! oy vey! She had him on the ropes from several possible attacks near the end.

congratulations to that man for being sober for that long. usually when someone randomly tells you how long they've been sober, it means because it's a big deal to them and they're proud of it. I personally know good people that has to have a drink to stop from shaking

As a french defense player, this was super fun to watch. I found your channel from Dr Mike, and when I saw that you two were chess players, I knew I had to watch. One of the weirdest french games I've seen. =)

Having almost died due to COVID last year, I had to do much the same thing in regards diet, because I discovered I have type 2 diabetes when in the hospital. I respect Paul for both changing his diet to become more healthy, and really respect him for his 14 days sobriety with no Vodka. That's literally a water replacement staple for Russians. GG to both Alex and Paul!

These park chess players are not really hustlers. Hustling, at least in the pool context, involves someone sandbagging a few games at lower stakes, increasing the stakes, and then their true skill comes out. With these guys, you are paying for their time.

In all seriousness I hope this guy gets better. Just lost my mom in Feb 2022 to issues that developed from drinking. Only you can decide to get better. She died and I fell into depression and gained over 60lbs. I'm a little over 15lbs down now, granted it's not the healthiest method. I just feel sick now when I even think of food. Which is how it used to be when I was underweight. I've been dropping weight fast and, although im happy about that, I'm sad I'm not doing it the right way.d

Important to note that he has given up french fries for more regular potatoes. Can the Botez sisters match him? No fries for the rest of your life, it’s actually the restaurant or fast food fries that are worse because of the deep frying, supermarket fries are only about half as bad.
