I renovated this brownstone apartment in The Sims 4 

you are actually so talented i'm always so blown away by how creative you get with interior design every single time. you honestly have so much potential i don't know what you're doing here using it only for sims builds when you can be an interior designer. anyways i love your content i've been watching you for like 7 years and you're like a comfort youtuber to me.

Man I'm really loving these apartment renos

a good note for light switches is to always put them on the side of the door with a handle or the wall closest, as that's how it is in real life so you can turn it on as soon as you enter a room.

Love this! San Myshuno is still my favourite world and nothing has topped it yet. I hope we get another city at some point.

This reminded me of when you used to make household for the builds you did in sims 3. I know it takes more time and it’s not practical for every build, but I would be excited to see some more builds for existing families or families you create.

Deli you have such an eye for design!! I am blown away every single time! You calling the extra bedroom “nothing special” lol - like girl I’d LOVE to have that as my room 😂 If the sims ever goes downhill, you should definitely do interior design in real life 🤩

I find apartment builds easier to do for two seasons: 1) I've always lived in apartment and have an easier time understanding the space and 2) I don't have think about the exterior at all. 😁

I've noticed a newly reinvigorated interest in apartments among the simmers who worked on the new pack... 🧐 I'm crossing my fingers that this means new apartments are coming!!

I will say, no matter how much I play Sims, I ALWAYS go back to the apartments, I love apartments, in Sims 3 and 4. Something about it is so perfect to me! Like I'm living vicariously through the extravagant or eccentric apartments I make or download from the gallery!

Plunger, can be used to trap the random spider that enter your house, especially the bathroom or toilet, so very useful

Should Reno their Hamptons house now to match their new style but maybe a slightly less urban style as it’s not a city home. Anyway, loved the build 😊❤

I think the card on the glasses/watch stand is a calendar 📅 🤔 I didn't realise that room existed either when I first built there 😂 wasn't until I moved a sim in! 🤦‍♀️ It became the apartment equivalent of a garage, decorations box, some plant pots/skill items 😂😂

Damn, that light switch at 10:11 is really tall. Imagine waking up in the middle of the night and fumbling your hands all over the wall trying to find the light switch 😂

All these apartment renos are making me want to renovate apartments too. I rarely build just to build though, I usually just make houses for my legacy sims and I don't want them moving to apartments rn.

Brent and Brant will forever have a special place in my heart. I had a sim, he moved to their neighborhood and opened a vet clinic. He wasn't very good at social interactions and had a hard time finding friends. But then Brent and Brant showed up in his clinic with their dog. After the treatment they started chatting and my sim really seemed to like them. They came over a few days later, my sim cooked for them and they stayed all day. I didn't interfere. I just let them on full autonomy and watched how their friendship evolved. When Brent and Brant went home my sim had two new friends and he was so happy! I really enjoyed this. The three of them stayed friends their whole lives, Brent and Brant adopted two children, my sim finally found a wife and married her, they had three children and all the children grew up together. The day Brent or Brant, I don't remember who went first, died was one of the saddest days. They all died eventually, my sims wife was the last one. I never played on that save again.

Have been watching your videos for YEARS! I absolutely love the way you decorate and build homes. If I could, I would honestly hire you to give my home a makeover…im terrible at decorating. Just a heads up tho when placing light switches. Place them on the side of the door with the handle.

my husband is formerly an electrician... (now a safety inspector...) his stories of his previous work has me internally screaming... "why are you putting the light switches BEHIND the doors!!! you have to close the door to turn the lights on/off... would never want that IRL.... lol... (i know. it doesn't matter at all in SIMS...but....)

I love looking at and, when I'm in the game, renovating apartments... but every time I try to gameplay them I find them almost as frustrating as living in an apartment (which I currently do). This must be why all my sims live in normal lots... but in reality, I'd love an apartment like this, if it weren't for the neighbors though! 😂

I really like the reno!! I don't know about outside of the US, but in the US the light switches are normally on the side of the door that opens, but the fact that you're using them is a big thing so do what you want :)

I used to love apartments in the Sims 2, I end up reinstalling and playing ts2 cause as much as I love homes I feel like most people live in apartments. Like I live in the Tuscan countryside, and I live in an ancient home divided into 4 apartments. I feel it's more realistic to have apartments

I was wondering what that little piece of paper is on the watch display, as well! My partner and I were pondering if it's some sort of swatch-picker/planner - like telling you what color watch band to wear with what outfit, or something? Some people are really into their watches!

I am so happy for you! Did you know you can't keep chickens happy and clean without the weather pack. I just finally got cottage living. I love gardening and don't want to be limited to when I can grow stuff so I never wanted the weather pack. I can't afford to buy everything anyway. Well you need rain or a sprinkler to keep chickens clean. Both options are only in the Weather pack. 💔😢 I am so broken hearted.

I'm distracted by the light switches being placed on the hinge side of the doors. I'm fairly sure most are placed on the other side, where the door handle would be for easier access.

I am loving the color combinations and different textures!

I think this is a nice switch since many of the last packs haven't had the same kind of industrial vibe. Personally, felt like the black wall in the kitchen was too dark, but I really loved the dark green in the living room paired with the bricks. I love exposed bricks, it's nice living vicariously through the Sims since I don't have the house for it.

Love how you renovate! Really enjoying the apartment ones. Definitely $20,000 plus for Australian bathroom renovations. XX

My dad still says, “You are the weakest link” to me in the same exact way. 😂

hey deli! i have some advice for placing your door knobs(if you’re trying to make it as realistic/logical as possible), put them on the side of the knob instead of the hinges. i know sims dont use them but when you walk into a room, it’s better to have the switch right there rather than walking around the door swing to turn on/off lights! :)

we had a full bathroom reno for about £5-6,000 in the uk xx

I recently did a whole reno on my 2.5m x 2.5m bathroom and it cost me about $24k in Adelaide. Which included removing a wall and sealing a doorway.

The price all depends on the size if your having other people do everything or if your gonna do some things and the price of all the things you want in there it can be easy to do a bathroom cheap if your handy and r fine with Craigslist and fb finds but ya I think people usually say a bathroom and kitchen r most expensive bathroom being like 10-20 k especially if your making it bigger or moving things
