@@Gignation I am really proud of you, owning your own home at such a young age, Jonathon! You will have a paid off house by the time that you are 50 years old. We paid an extra 1/12 of a month's payment every month to take years off of our mortgage. It is amazing how paying extra principal every month really makes a huge difference. It's that compound interest formula, where you end up paying an incredible amount of interest over thirty years.
It's really beautiful where you live, with lots of trees and plenty of greenery! I love the rain and would enjoy living in the Pacific Northwest. Mt Rainer and the Cascade mountain range are really beautiful!
I like to park my car in my garage, because it really helps make my car last longer, on the inside and the outside. I see cars with headlights that are no longer clear, because they are always out in the elements. The car stays at a much more comfortable temperature when it is inside, so it warms up faster in the winter and it's never hot inside from the sun in the summer. Seattle rarely gets really hot, but even a mild day makes a really hot interior. But, I would have to rent it out if I needed the income to survive.
Yea I get that. I’ve been thinking about buying a new car, and I’d definitely keep it in the garage if I did. Right now I’ve got an 05 mazda with engine problems, doesn’t make much of a difference where I keep it - won’t be around much longer either way
@@Gignation You are better off making some money from your garage. I am so glad that you cleaned it up, because they get filled up with crap so easily. We have storage under our house that really saves us from that fate. Many of our neighbors don't park in their garages.
Gig Nation Fantastic choices! I would compare gas mileages. The real vehicles built on truck chassis are much thirstier than cross overs on unibodies. Real trucks have higher center of gravities, making them easier to rollover.
Can they keep coming over to your house to access the room? What if they stay in there for long periods of time…. Like they just hang out in there for hours and hours?
@@kaylinde2321 I didn’t give them a key to my place so they would have to contact me ahead of time if they needed to grab something. I’ve never had the issue of them lingering, but I suppose with any landlord situation it all comes down to the type of tenant you get.
@@777_oracale it adds up if you’re living paycheck to paycheck. Might as well get $65 a month if it’s a spare room lol. I have a room I basically ignore in my house I’d love to rent it out.
