In this video I will be Installing a retrofit headlight kit from Circuit Demon on my 2019 Subaru Crosstrek! This was a very time-consuming build so if you are considering it yourself make sure you put aside a couple days to work on it. Besides that, this was a really fun build and I’d recommend it for anyone thinking of doing it! Also, on another note for those with 2013-2017 Treks and Imprezas, Circuit Demon does have a retrofit kit for you guys as well. The steps will be exactly the same in this video. Hope you guys enjoy the video and have a great day!

This looks sick! I've been wanting to do this to my '18 base. I might now. Thank you! Question tho, How are the light beams projects at night time? It will be nice to see the difference of OEM lighting the wall vs the Retrofitted lighting the wall. what do you think?

How do they work at night? Any troubles aligning them?

I have so many questions about the "highbeam" bulb now! So, is the highbeam still a separate bulb? Or is this projector a low/high beam hybrid? It looked like you still had a bulb placed where the highbeam is located in the housing, but now the entire housing is blacked out and non reflective, so how does that impact the "highbeams" ?

@@StradysWorld A word of advice if you do.. Subarus are finicky with them. Make sure you wire it to the starter not the DRLs.

@@StradysWorld Not sure but when wired to the DRL I had intermittent flickering which eventually led to complete failure of my driver side C light. When wired to the starter everything has been perfect for over a year now.

@@UnknownUser_0000 I have a WRX but I'm sure it's the same, the DRL is reduced power that powers the hibeams. You need to tap into the power before it goes through the resistor. Ours you just unplug and take power from there to power the DRL clight. Edit: You'd tap into the parking light power for the other half of the clight wire.

Maybe if you line the box with plastic, the time spent in heating up will not be so long?

Plastic burns and emits harsh toxins my friend. Much advised to consider aluminum foil instead for those qualities. I have not done this nor can I attest to its success. Be safe and have an eye for it during the process in case anything happens/fire. You can’t undo plastic fumes to the lungs

What lights do you have for the high beam/ drl and do the drls flicker

they are just some LEDs from amazon. They did flicker as drls but I picked up a highbeam resistor from amazon and that fixed the problem.

Im sorry bro but having able to buy a set of headlights from amazon as practice dummy worth $300.. n then buying the projector set.. total cost might be around $500-600. Why not just buy a aftermarket black oled headlights n save u from all ur troubles.
