This Is my honest review of the most popular guitar pedal power supply on amazon, the Donner DP-1. If you want to see how it goes watch the video or check the amazon link below to learn more. www.amazon.com/Donner-Guitar-...
It’s probably find for home use but I wouldn’t trust it to gig with. I’d say if it’s all you can afford go with it. If you will be traveling to gigs try a voodo labs or one spot pro. Thanks for the review
you welcome man, Yes I just play guitar for fun, so my gear almost never leaves the house. You should do a review of some hi end get thats good for the road. I would love to watch it.
pretty expensive? no sir.... this is the dirty dirty of the cheapest. its not isolated, not safe, and there's a big reason why most other supplies are 135-250 bucks from any big name supply. its wild that anyone thinks its a good idea to use one of these with 1000+ dollars of pedals.... I would cry if I bought some cheap power supply and it ruined my 2000k in pedals or started a fire in my home.... that's why it sparks
Thanks for the video. I just want a power supply for home use. My question is, how quiet is it compared to battery power? Any hum/hiss noise. On the topic of the spark when you plug it into the wall, plug into the wall first and then the power distribution unit and it shouldn't spark as not current is being drawn. Please come back to me when you have time. Thanks.
i haven't noticed any hum but if its an issue for you i suggest buying something more expensive. This one works great for me but i wouldn't even notice a hum lol
lol you can say it. this video sucks lol I forgot I even still had it up lol. this is from when I thought I could be a famous RU-vidr lol. I was wrong lol
