That just looks AWESOME! I really wish I was able to go but I can't due to the distance from where I live (Stamford CT) and North Conway, New Hampshire.

Thanks for sharing about your experiences! We plan to visit NH and ME next month to celebrate my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. A trip on one of the 3 scenic routes is on our agenda. My father worked for the Kansas City Southern Railroad for over 30 years, so trains have a special place in our hearts. I'd love it if you could walk through the train and give us a comparison of the different seating options... coach, first class, and premium.

Please tell your parents happy 50th.🎉 I would probably suggest the Mountaineer when you go up. It is the longest but has the best views. I would also say book first class or coach class. It is up to your preferences. Coach = hot but windows open ; First Class = AC but widows DON'T open and more leg room. If you want the best views, call to book and book on the "side of the train facing the station" (only if you are going on the Mountaineer, if you are going on any other ride book on the "side facing away from the station").
