This is a channel where we ride trains in the Northeastern part of the United States. We mainly ride trains in New Hampshire, however we do travel to other states from time to time.
Hi there! My son is a big fan. Any tips on how you make your videos so well? He would love to add music and edit like you do - great job and thanks for making a difference!
Nice video. Seeing it brings back memories of when I used to ride the commuter rail between Newburyport and Boston. I remember there being a bridge of pipes or wires that linked the power plant and the plant at River Works 8:40 One question: where did this train meet take place? 7:08
I used to ride the MBTA Commuter Rail between Newburyport and Boston for years and I never had a problem with the seats in the single-level passenger cars. Also, from what I heard, the old rolling stock and Budd Cars at 5:05 - 5:15 have been moved. And I think one of the Budd cars will be restored and put in a museum.
Nice video :) I've visited the Conway Scenic Railroad a couple of times. I'm amazed you were allowed to film some of your videos there. Did you have to get permission to film there? Just curious.
I have had to get permission for some things that I film. However, they are always very welcoming. Plus my videos help to promote them as a brand so I don't think they are against me lol.
Nice! I recommend the Cape Cod Central Railroad! Right now they are doing the Polar Express events and in the summer they do amazing trips! It’s located in Hyannis MA and Buzzards Bay MA!
Question, If the train goes back on the same tracks what's the difference which side you sit on? Aren't you on the opposite side when your returning than when you are going up?
Yes, you will end up on the opposite side, but I find being on the side with the views on the way up makes them seem more dramatic. So I remember sitting on the side closest to the station.
Thank you for the advice on which side of the train to sit on at 1:30, and for showing the graphic from their website so I can get it right. They don't make it clear which side is the right or left on the graphic.
Wonderful video footage for the Mountaineer ride! Looks like you are on East/Right side of Northbound and I understand that's your recommendation! Do you have any tips for the car selection? Mountaineer seems to have different car variations and I am not sure the characteristics of each car. Thanks!
